If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Not Lakes, Cotswolds. I'll forgive your poor pregnant brain, you've had a busy few days! Let us know what the digi says x

(I hope that there's a signal there, I'm meant to be closely watching our message total, if theres a sudden busy period and it gets close and I appear to have disappeared someone else feel free to step in)

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 21:48

its usually quieter on here on a weekend, and there should's plenty of posts left to last until your return. I'll keep a beady eye on things for you.

Yes it sure has been a busy few days!! I've been having crap nights sleep so am totally zonked. DH out tonight so i'm having a nice realx with the laptop trying to catch up on mn and plan a summer holiday Smile

i hope you manage to enjoy your wedding - in the cotswolds! Grin

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 21:57

Ooohhh, holiday (so glad I check what I type...phone changed ooohhhh to piggy!). We're going to Pembrokeshire because I didn't want to go far from home when 7 months pg :( but also :) because it should still be lovely. Where are you looking at?

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 22:10

actually laughed out loud @piggy, as currently suffing face with a cream egg!! Yummm!! Grin

Ohh, Pembrokeshire is loooovely. Went the summer before last, mainly camped but was just lovely. Stayed in St Davids.

Well, we're off to Scotland for easter (loch long, about 1hr north of glasgow) in pretty little cottage. We'd planned it during last pg, but never booked, but while mc needed something to look forward to so booked it anyway.

I'm not sure what to do for summer. I'd like to get away but not to far if pg. We did a plan last month when ttcing and we said we'd improve the holiday for each month we were ttcing (i love big long haul holidays to travel) with the money we wouldn't need to save. Just been looking at not so cheap flights to Italy. Wouldn't mind a week in tuscany or in the south. But never been, and have a feeling it might be too expensive.

meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 22:14

Well have fun looking, hope you find something. I'm off to bed, got to be up early for ballet (dd not me)

Hope everyone else is having a nice Friday evening (I just spent it half on here and half getting depressed watching comic relief)

Rupsje · 18/03/2011 22:28

Hello everyone

It is a week since my ERPC (first pregnancy) and I felt like doing something positive this evening, so thought I would join this thread. It seems like a cosy place to be!

My bleeding has more or less stopped now so I guess I am now officially on my WTF cycle - brilliant name by the way. Slightly concerned as I took a pregnancy test this evening (stupid) and it was still faintly positive.... Not quite sure what that means... concerned it means I won't ovulate any time soon.

Anyway, pleased to see some many BFPs on here recently (been lurking for a while), and looking forward to sharing ups and downs with everyone.

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 23:06

Hello lurker Grin Rupsje so sorry for your loss. Glad you have decided to join us. I think i'm probably the only one on at this late hour, but wanted to post and say welcome.

This thread and the ladies on it are just amazing and i don't know what i'd have done these past couple of months without them.

I hope you WFT cycle passes quickly - and it is truely deservant of the name. You should keep testing until you get a bfp, before you ttc again. If its faint hopefully it will turn negative soon (so strange to actually want a bfn) xxx

OP posts:
Collie2 · 18/03/2011 23:07

your i meant ....and WTF, not WFT... doh. Seriously, its time i went to bed!

OP posts:
Rupsje · 18/03/2011 23:20

Haha! Don't worry, I knew what you meant. Thanks for your message and sleep well Smile

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 23:26

oh bloody hell, i meant bfn too not bfp! Right, thats my last cock up of the night turning laptop and tv off.

Night Rupsje

Okay, taking the plunge and moving myself on the list, using the date of my first line Smile

Used another cheapie this morning and def (faint but stronger)line. Also line on FR from yesterday has also got stronger since yesterday morning so its now distinctly strong than the first days. AND.... i took the digi too Grin so thats 9 sticks now Blush, all with a line.Grin Just need to get through tomorrow now [scared emoticon]

Also, I've moved those who we know have sadly lost their BPFs to a new 'thinking of' section at the bottom as i know thats what i would want, so not to have to come and ask to be moved. I hope thats ok with everyone?

So....

morning all.

welcome rupsje sorry for your loss.

collie yay for Grin it's nice seeing it in plain words. and what the heck was with you last night. Grin if it wasn't for the i'd say you'd been drinking. Grin it's been a long week. Grin

mel try and enjoy your time away. we're only on 766 (or probably 767 now) i doubt we'll use all that over night.

hope everyone is ok. no blood for me today, it seems to have gone from everyday to every other day. hope tomorrow isn't as red as yesterdays. not sure what i'll be like if mondays scan is bad news. ok positive thinking again. >

Chloe55 · 19/03/2011 08:24

Good news about the lack of blood today cep It would appear that it is mandatory for us ladies to have blood in the first trimester.

collie Grin at all your POAS, I wonder how many you will use up in the next 8 weeks??!!

Welcome rupsje It normally takes between 4-8 weeks for your AF to return, I know some poor ladies are still waiting though. I would make sure you get a BFN before TTC just so you know that your next BFP is for your next baby.

Still feeling a bit Sad today, more so as we were meant to have some shares cashed into our bank yesterday and have been relying on them for food/petrol and it never went in for some reason so now we have to get through the weekend with no money or food and can't do anything we had planned Angry Don't get me wrong, we won't starve or anything, there's plenty of meat on us and I do have mum round the corner but won't go to her to ask to borrow any money as you know her opinion on me not working Hmm It is annoying though as it's the share people's fault not ours! We have the money, just not in our bank!! Angry

Collie2 · 19/03/2011 08:28

Morning cep glad there is no blood today, maybe thats the antibiotics working? Try not to worry about monday

OP posts:
cep · 19/03/2011 08:30

chloe how annoying. was this today? so you haven't been able to speak to them. Are you going to be ok? you do seem to be having bad luck at the moment don't you. Sad

cep · 19/03/2011 08:31

collie ah bless. Grin sound like he had a good night.

Collie2 · 19/03/2011 08:34

chloe thats rubbish about the shares. I hate that as mistakes like that are what can make people going overdrawn and being charged and then its a vicious cycle. Its a lovely day today, you should go to the park or something thats free. Grin x

vegas have a fab day.

chloe i think you'd have every right to ask for the shares people to pay for any overdrawn charges, if cause by their error.

want your opinions, do you think it's safe to go swimming. ds and dss really want to go, i couldn't go last time cause was full of bad cold, but i'm just not sure if it's safe, until i know what the bleeding is from. what do you think?

meliesmummy · 19/03/2011 09:43

Hi Rupsje, welcome. I got a bfn about 2 1/2 weeks after my mc but it was a mmc so hormones might have been slowly dropping for a few weeks, then af a few days later (I am very unusual though!)

How annoying Chloe! I hope you tell them exactly what you think of them! Fx your luck changes soon x

Yay collie! You are probably pretty safe from a chemical pg if there's enough hcg to show up on a digi, they aren't very sensitive after all. Get an early night! I think your brain needs one Grin !

I'm not sure about swimming Cep but to be honest I wouldn't, its not worth the stress you'll inevitably feel, could you take them to the beach or something instead? It's a lovely day!

I'm sitting in my finery outside dds ballet class, then we've got a 2 hour drive to the wedding. I hope she sleeps because she'll be missing her nap later and I don't want a grump on my hands!

Hi Vegas and everyone else

Collie2 · 19/03/2011 09:51

thanks mels have been worrying about chem pg, but seeing the lines get slightly stronger has been reassuring. didn't know the cb digi wasn't that sensitive, thank got it said positive.

cep would probably agree with mels i wouldn't want to risk it, as your not meant to swim if you have any kind of urine infection i don't think. Beach sounds nice...although maybe still a bit cold.

mels how old is your dd again? So cute that shes doing ballet. My nice had a class a few weeks ago -shes almost 3 but i can't imagine her doing it beacause shes, although beautiful, not at all light footed! Grin

Enjoy your shopping spree vagas i had one last week and it made me feel very Smile
