If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Stats to follow.

chloe I'm sorry you feel down, but cep is spot on with everything she has said. I was convinced it was your month last month, right from the start. Was [shocked] and [gutted] at your bfn. In fact have wondered if it just failed.... ?? So sorry sweetie, you are just lovely and deserve it so much. Don't feel bad for being sad at bfp's even I have dent that way in occassions, and I was very aware how it might make people with recent bfns feel, when I posted. I'm stckibg around until you get yours, so you had best get one quick! Grin xxxx

Yay to harassed made up for you hun. Are you going to join the freak out room? I could do with some hand holding!

cep I know it's silly but I'm happy to stay where I am for now. Haven't hot any clearblue digis and relucant to buy more as have lads of cheapies at home!!

harassedinherpants · 18/03/2011 11:48

(((())))) for Chloe - sorry you're feeling sad and for doing a "me, me, me" post. I think it's perfectly normal to feel sad when someone else gets a bfp. You want to be happy for them, but there's that little niggle.

I've just my very close friend who's due at the same time I would have been.

Collie will have a look at the freak out thread. Scary!!

Chloe55 · 18/03/2011 11:52

harrassed Don't be daft, believe me, when I get my BFP I will most def be doing a 'me me me' post!! This thread is for our ups as well as our downs and I am really am pleased at all the ups today.

meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 12:18

Congratulations harrassed!

Chloe can we be down together? I'm not sure why but in the last few hours I've started to feel really teary. I can't put my finger on why, it's prob just hormones / baby talk at the library this morning / the fact that no one in rl asks how I am anymore. It's like no one remembers apart from my friend who mc last year, plus ive got that wedding to get thru tomorrow, I really don't feel up to it. Sorry for ranting :(

Chloe55 · 18/03/2011 12:36

My little gloomy corner is welcoming you with open arms this afternoon meliesmum It comes fully equipped with tissues, warm shoulders to lean on and great big hugs and understanding.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 18/03/2011 12:53

Ok I know I should probably wait but I've already waited 8 cycles for this so I'm going to move me now and enjoy it as long as it lasts!

Congratulations to the other bfps floating around out there Grin

To those of you feeling Sad and wondering when your turn will come, big big (((hugs))). I know that feeling all too well and it's not good, but keep the faith, it's a long and rocky road but you will get there xx

MummyAbroad · 18/03/2011 12:58

CONGRATULATIONS CONGRATULATIONS CONGRATULATIONS!!! Grin

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 15:11

mels (((hugs))) for you too. Sorry that your having a testy day, your mc was not that long ago though sweetie so it's v natural.

I'm back in the loos my secret hideaway, so just a quick post! roll on 5 o'clock!

OP posts:
Chloe55 · 18/03/2011 15:54

Just popping in to see how melie is doing? Do you need another Wine?

I have a night planned in front of the TV, bawling my eyes out no doubt with a few laughs in between and counting my lucky stars for what I have.

meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 17:13

I'm feeling a bit better thanks chloe. Had a nice afternoon, we walked to the hospital to meet dh after physio and we all went to the park. Saw a family with the pram I wanted tho :( .

I guess my high cervix didn't mean anything, my opk was negative today so that's our chances used up for this month so I'm on the 2ww, please help me through it, get your fish ready!

meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 17:14

Ps everything ok blackkat?

cep · 18/03/2011 17:47

sorry you ladies have been feeling a bit low today, hope things pick up for you.

i'm feeling rather stressed tonight, ds decided tonight I was going to have to use the naughty step about a billion times while i was trying to cook dinner...argh.

blackkat how's your dad?

collie how's your nan?

Blackkat · 18/03/2011 18:41

Just a wee note to say congratulations to collie, Banana and Harassed great news Grin, Grin

lili take care and oli good luck

to everyone else

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 18:50

mels did you get plenty of swi in? I hope the preconcive (I can only remember your made up name for it) helpped!!! Your afternoon sounds lovely, and that pram (or a better updated version Smile ) will be yours one day soon!!

cep nan is ok thanks, although not been to visit since weds. She has emphazemia so is constantly on oxygen, so it's less the fall and more the impact it's had on her breathing they're concerned about. But she's improving. Will be seeing her again tomorrow.

Grin at your ds and the naughty stair!

Have bought 2 cb digis after izzy's bfp. Although on relooking. At FR sticks am wondering how faint my lines are.

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 19:23

Are you waiting until the morning to use the digis collie? we kind of followed smep, altho we started a day early and wont manage tomorrow night (I just cant bring myself to dtd in my parents house, my mum will be the one making the bed, ewwww!) The conceive plus claims have been tested, results in 2 (long) weeks!

banana87 · 18/03/2011 19:29

Hi ladies,

cep Sorry you are having a bad day. Hope tomorrow is brighter.

Congrats Collie (again!), and harrassed.

Hope you are ok LILI and oli.

Another faint line this morning, this time within the time frame. My best friend (who lives with us) did confirm I am not seeing things :) Still don't think its official yet. Am very very tired though, took a 2 hour nap and ready for bed!

cep · 18/03/2011 19:38

mel no there's something that just seems wrong about dtd in the parents house isn't there.

collie are you going to use one tomorrow??

banana yay for the confirmation line. Grin

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 20:39

Thanks everyone for the lovely congrats and messages. Is this really real? I don?t think I can actually believe it is??!!! Just keeping thinking I?ll wake up tomorrow, or the next, and the test will say -ive instead. When can I stop stressing about it being a chemical pg? I?m 14dpo and AF due Sunday [freaked out emotiocon] ? we so need one of these!! Grin

Waves to Izzy BIG congrats again lovely!!! And congratulations to wiw too xx

knitter pink velvet Yay for the scans, so glad to hear there have been lots of happy bouncy beans today! Smile

OP posts:
Collie2 · 18/03/2011 20:45

Yes mels cep waiting for morning for the digi text. fx!!!

Mels i think the SMEP has shown good results for a lot of people who did it. Quite a few who who moved on to the common room have had a bfp. I've been rattling with suppliments for a month too, drinking grapefuit and pom juice and eating brazil nuts. God knows if any of it makes any difference mind! I hope your 2ww goes quickly, try and relax now and there's little symptom spotting in the first week at least! x

Yay for banana my fain lines are slightly stringer too!!!

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 21:04

Pg brain kicking in already collie?! I've been eating brazil nuts but can't stand grapefruit juice, I stopped taking epo because I'm sure it was aggravating my cervical erosion, it might still have had an effect though, I took it for a few weeks. No cough syrup either, dont like the idea of taking drugs I dont actually need.
