evening all,

arti ofcourse you can lurk and post as you want, am so glad to see your doing well. I think dark days are completely normal at any stage afterwards as always feel free to rant on here if you need to. Smile

ifat sorry af arrived. good luck for ttc.

skitoo it's funny what dtes we get into our head isn't it.

mel calm sweet. have you booked an appointment at the dr yet (or was that only yesterday we discussed thta?) It could just be that blood from recent bleeding had just pooled at cervix and got disturbed while dtd. Speak to dr at appointment.

noodle welcome, am sorry for your loses. is a fab place here, feel free to rant and rage as you need to.

Collie2 · 13/03/2011 18:01

Welcome minnie (sorry I didn't say hi this morning how rude of me) and noodle sorry for your losses, but glad you joined us.

Tokyo sorry about your wft cycle. It's a horrid period what a strange thing that you dd said. Have you asked her why she's asked that?

chloe so so sorry that AF arrived. Gutted for you. Do you have any thoughts on what the spotting might have been? You're periods sound awful. Have you managed to have a nice weekend?

arti nice to hear from you. I'm so sorry about your molar pg. I never posted on your mc thread but did pop on when I heard. I'm glad your first test of results have come back ok. Fx that you continue to get the all clear! I hope you will still lurk and post.

Sad AF got you ifatfirst

No testing for me yet (can't remember who asked) trying to wait as long as I can. Trying to hold out till Friday... Hmm

meliesmummy · 13/03/2011 18:12

Hi noodle, glad you found your way here.

Cep at our surgery you have to phone at 8:20 (getting thru is always fun) and you get an appointment for that day. It's stopped now, it looked exactly like what I had when I was pg with dd. Altho that was never after dtd. What about you? Any new blood in your cm?

Fish at the ready for collie!

Collie2 · 13/03/2011 18:16

Xpost cep and brooke

melies somehow missed your last post. Try to be calm. Google really is the devil. I don't have any answers but in all likelihood it's probably easily explained by something like cep suggested. Make an apt to see to your gp tomorrow and get the reassurances or any tests you might need. I know it's really easy for me to say (and trust me I have my own freak outs) but try not to worry, it will do nothing other than stress you out and make you ill. I'm sure you have just dislodged some old blood or something. X

OP posts:
Collie2 · 13/03/2011 18:29

Xpost again melies glad it's stopped. Let us know what the doc says tomorrow x

Grin at your fish in hand! I have no faith in me either, but I thought I'd have caved earlier than 9 dpo, even though it's way to early! My first response packet says can detect pg 6 days b4 af due though... and that's tomorrow!! Confused

Hello everyone

Cep so pleased that you are ok, was worried when I read your first post, but relieved to read the second.

Ninu brave you, moving up a list!! Grin Grin Congratulations. I like your thinking of list idea.

Hello to minnie from other thread and welcome to noodle sorry you need to be here, but glad you found us!

Chloe Ifat sorry to hear AF has got you. Chloe I can imagine how scared you must feel about leaving home, I am terrified of "leaking" at work, my boss has white sofas in his office.

Arti lovely to hear from you, glad the first results were good.

Olis you must stay to lurk please do!

Collie impressed by your DIY and by your determination not to POAS. Grin

Mel not sure I can help but sure that Dr Google is not the way forward either Smile sorry not to be any more help.

Shorty hope you're feeling better?

harassed how are you?

to brooke, hadrian banana, lily, really, skitoo and everyone else I've not namechecked, sorry!!

LILI80 · 13/03/2011 19:00

melis Good luck for the docs melis you're doing the right thing by getting it checked out.

collie AF hasn't arrived yet but do not feel pg at all! and a another test yesterday revealed a BFN. Am beginning to wonder if maybe I should be counting from that second bleed I had in which case I would only be on cd24. FX for you chick really hoping this is the month for you.

cep Sorry to hear about the pink mucus but I remember getting that with my DD and everything turned out ok. I'll be keeping my fx that everything will be ok but I'm sure it will be.

Hello to all the new ladies that have join us Smile

cep · 13/03/2011 19:02

i spoke too soon earlier, a bit more pink and a little bit of red. it's after doing a no2 (sorry tmi) so not sure if i should be worried or not. Still plnning to wait till dr's to ask for scan, even if i get one now it couldn't stop anything (if anything was going to happen.)

shorty100 · 13/03/2011 19:25

Hello everyone, hope you are well. Hope everything is o.k cep, its such a worrying time. Still no af for me coming up for 8 weeks now, think i'm going to get my self back to the doctors next week, not sure what they can do though. X

Collie2 · 13/03/2011 19:29

cep hope it's nothing to worry about. think you're admirable for not going to gp yet, but totally understand as it can't stop anything happening. It might give you a bit or reassurance though if all is ok?
(((HUGS))) keep resting. Are you in work tomorrow?

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 13/03/2011 19:33

Cep that thing you said about after no 2s, well that's exactly like me with my dd - it was cervical erosion. And this bleedings like that too - ive just had more, desperately want answers so I can move on (but hoping that doesn't involve the epu).

LILI :( about the bfn but :) to no af!

collie dont fall for the 6 days before you're late crap claim!

shorty hope you get answers too x

Hi blackkat how is your dad?

Blackkat · 13/03/2011 19:50

shorty they can give you provera to start AF

Cep hoping all ok ((hugs))

lili sorry it's BFN

Just had another "news" phonecall, but this time I was super happy for them, feeling like a nice person today Smile

Mel thanks for asking, DD was in hospital all last week and is now home, but will be back again next week - sick of going past epu! Sad

cep · 13/03/2011 19:56

shorty definately mention it to them, they can do any tests they might want to at this point.

collie no, i don't work mondays, but ds wants to go to the soft play area, he can do most of t on his own, but feel guilty him not having anyone to play with (and all those super skinny mums running round with theirs Envy )

mel would that effect so early on though? i thought that was more of a later in pg thing.

lili sorry bout your bfn.

meliesmummy · 13/03/2011 20:42

cep I bled from 5 weeks until 12 most days, always worse around when I'd have had a period if I wasn't pg, after a fanjocam (love that name, thanks mouse!) and erm...after a (clears throat noise) no 2. It was diagnosed at 8 weeks when I finally persuaded a dr to examine me, and since then I've had no symptoms. I had no bleeding in my last pg until I mc.

cep · 13/03/2011 20:45

i'll mention it when i see her next week. thanks mel

meliesmummy · 13/03/2011 20:56

Just in case you havent heard of cervical erosion before cep, I hope I haven't worried you, it sounds much worse than it is, it's not dangerous at all, it's just very annoying! this is a good link for more info:

www.2womenshealth.com/Cervical-Erosion-Symptoms.htm

hadrian · 13/03/2011 23:46

Evening all, just a quick note to say hello and let you know I'm still here! I've been lurking quite a bit but have been busy at work. I'm leaving work in three weeks to take a six month sabbatical which is amazing but I'm flat out now trying to hand everything over and doing some freelance work on top.

No hope of catching up properly with everyone, you ladies do some serious chatting and I'm weeks behind! cep I really hope you're doing ok. It must be so scary and so difficult to stay calm. I remember someone who is now on the other board - owl I think it was - having a terrible time with bleeding and everything seems to be working out ok for her. When can you get a scan or see a doctor? < big hugs >

meli sorry to hear your body is messing you around. I've heard that all sorts of things can happen in the WTF cycle. Hope things calm down soon.

shorty fx AF arrives soon! We don't often say that do we? It took 8 weeks for mine to arrive.

Sad AF got you chloe and ifatfirst. Wine all round.

collie am admiring your restraint! Will you POAS tomorrow or will you try and hold out a bit longer?

Hello to minnie and noodle and everyone else who's new. Hope to catch up with you all over the next few days.

Nothing much to report here. I'm about 7 DPO but don't feel pg at all so am not too optimistic this time. Not even a hint of a symptom to obssess over! Although can't help but have a faint glimmer of hope...why does this have to be so bloody difficult? Am trying to keep myself distracted and away from the bathroom cabinet where I have 25 amazon cheapies...

< waves > to lili and blackkat and olis if you're lurking and anyone else who's still up on a Sunday evening

cep · 14/03/2011 08:04

mel no you didn't scare me hon, Smile if it's something like that and it's not dangerous to bean or me then i don't mind, at least it would put a reason with it.

hadrian good to see you. oh what are you doing on your sabbatical?

Chloe55 · 14/03/2011 09:38

Morning ladies,

Cep Whilst I spotted for a week before my period it was always after wiping after a no.2. It will be more likely due to the poo pushing on your lady bits canal and pushing it down iykwim and nothing more sinister I would have thought. I too have had a cervical erosion in the past and would get blood when I wiped and after dtd. It will be all that prodding about of your cervix before you got pregnant Grin

Hadrian Oooh, what will you be doing for 6months? Sounds intriguing. Step away from the bathroom cabinet, step away.

Noodle Welcome to the trhead, pull up a comfy chair and join in with the Wine Brew and Biscuit

Minnie Sorry, I forgot to congratulate you on your engagement yesterday! So, congratulations Wink

Ifat Buggery Bollocks to AF getting you, lets hope next month is lucky for both of us.

Oli What is Canix when it's at home??! Confused Talking dogs I will be looking into training classes for mine this week. She is beautiful and well natured but an absolute bugger on the lead and far too strong to not be obedient. Our fault entirely as despite daily walks it tends to be a case of, quick lets get to the fields so we can let her off, type of walks.

melies & shorty any joy with doc appointments?

Blackkat Glad to here your dad has been spending some time at home but a shame he will be going back in, both for him having to endure it and you havging to deal with seeing EPU again Sad What have the doctors said about the diagnosis and prognosis with your dad?

Helloooo to everyone else this morning.

Well I am currently typing away from my bed as have had a horrible night. Was up 2 times throughout the night as had totally flooded my pads/pjs/sheets. The problem is because I pass so many clots it's not like blood that soaks in so I always have accidents in the night on my first couple of nights - I usually put a towel down but forgot. I also considered seeing if a large nappy would fit Blush I am sure someone on here said they used a nappy and did some blue peter stylee fixing to make a pad Grin Also have horrendous period pains and generally feel like pants. I HATE my periods Sad

babies2011 · 14/03/2011 09:48

hi i'v recently miscarried triplets and had to have an evac i was wondering how long you have to wait before being intimate with your partner thanks xx

babies2011 · 14/03/2011 09:49

forgot to say not tryin for a baby just yet just the intimate part xx

cep · 14/03/2011 09:52

chloe thanks hon. Smile you poor thing sounds awful. are maternity pads thicker?

cep · 14/03/2011 09:54

hi babies sorry for your loss. it's totally up to you, when you've finished bleeding and aren't sore or anything it's ok.

babies2011 · 14/03/2011 10:01

i haven't bled thats why i'm confused xxx

Chloe55 · 14/03/2011 10:16

babies so sorry for your loss - after the ERPC you will probably bleed for a little while, this will get explained to you when you go for your op. The consultant will also probably inform you that it may take a little while for your AF to return. That is all completely normal. The procedure is pretty painfree (other than period type pains afterwards) but the emotional scarring takes a lot longer to heal. Give yourself plenty of time to rest and I hope you have some good real life support around you too. You and you dh make sure you look after each other.
