If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Stats to follow.

best to try tho!! x

Ninunina · 11/03/2011 20:21

Blackkat I think I'll wait until Sunday before moving to make sure it's not a chemical pregnancy.

Went to doctor today, they want me to get a dating scan next week- wouldn't it be too early to see anything if I will only be 4+5 in a weeks time? Hils have you been to the doctor yet?

ninu when I had pain at 5 weeks they said that they don't scan until 6 weeks because they wouldn't see anything, how odd! It's worth having one though if they offer it, you never know!

Blackkat · 11/03/2011 20:45

ninu glad I checked with you, have everything crossed for Sunday, agree with mel if they want you to have the scan, have it!

mel see I got the list wrong too, sorry laylas -I'd moved harassed up the list a bit

to collie, cep, chloe, lili, lily, Olis, shorty, hadrian, banana, Mumtum brooke, skitoo and everyone else

olismum23 · 11/03/2011 20:48

Evening all
ninu I had a scan at 4 and five and a half weeks they were both transvanginal though 4 weeks saw a Sac nothing else and 5+5 saw baby heartbeat and all

Well i think AF will be here tomorrow just feels that way now not had too much neusea today thats a good thing, joined the gym again i am determined to lose the comfort weight i have put on at least

Also i bought agnus castus and vit B complex anyone heard about these helping your chances TTC??

meliesmummy · 12/03/2011 05:43

I'm up early for work (first day shift since before Christmas - eek!) and I've had more fresh blood including a clot, starting to wonder if this is af at all?! Whats strange is that I've felt pmt-y the last few days so maybe this is the 'real' one?! I'm peed off with this now, for the last 4 weeks I've had about 7 blood free days. I might go to the gp on mon if it doesn't settle but I'm not sure what they'll do.

Hope you all have a nice Saturday x

LILI80 · 12/03/2011 06:42

morning melis I had exactly the same thing. AF arrived I had 9 days of no bleeding and then started to bleed again, went to docs and she said it's very common after mc and is probably body sorting itself out again. She did sat if it happend on my next cycle to come back and they'll look into it. See how it goes but if you are worried then def go to the doctors if anything just to put your mind at ease.

I got another BFN yesterday so I've decided not to test now. If AF hasn't arrived by Tuesday I'll test again but I'm not holding out much hope Sad

Oh well did check due date if I conceive on my next cycle and it would be 24 december! So that would be a nice xmas present Smile

Hope you're all well, got to dash now as I'm in work today on overtime!

cep · 12/03/2011 08:52

Morning all,

Welcome newbies, sorry you have to be here but the ladies are fantastic

Sorry haven't been around lately have had a really horrid couple of days. been feeling really sick most of the day, especially when coughing but can't stop coughing, driving me nuts. then fri morning ds woke up a 1am and stayed awake till 4am he eventually said that he was scared. we've hit a real problem with him and i just don't know what to do about it. He's suddenly (as in 3 nights ago) started not wanting to go to bed (and i mean scared not just not tired) never been like that before, hasn't always slept through but always went to bed fine. last night dh and i were going to a friends civil ceremony reception and putting ds to bed before we go (he didn't know we were going out) and he was hysterical. When i'd picked him up from nursery we'd gone up to his room and he pointed out where was scaring him, i think it's the shadows down the side of his chest of drawers caused by the light he insists on having on. we pulled it out and showed him there was nothing there and he seemed fine kept sying it's gone now......then bed time, i ended up having to rock him to sleep last night, which thankfully didn't take long due to being awake for most of friday morning. but he'd been screaming and just wouldn't stay in his bed then when i went to go discuss it with him this morning found a big wet patch on bed, ds wears a nappy at night and his pyjamas weren't wet so he'd taken his pj's (allin1) and nappy off to pee on his bed, now it could either be a very vivd dream that he'd gone to the toilet (i used to have those when i was young) or he was awake and conciously peed his bed. I just don't know how to handle it and what i can do that i haven't already.

sorry for the huge post i'm just really worried.

Have done today's list sorry if i have missed anyone that needed moving to the ttc list or anyone that hasn't yet been added.

hope you're all ok. sorry for the mememe post today. Sad oh and meant to say love the hair oli Smile

i spoke to her yesterday about helping him sleep through the night, cause at that time i wasn't expecting him to be like he was last night. i'm hoping that he was that bad cause he was so tired. will see tonight. Am thinking of trying to find another lighting system so that the shadows don't fall that way. maybe having little play in his room, It's weird he seems to have no problem being in his room just trying to sleep in the bed. bed is opposite the dresser so obviously when he opens his eyes he can see the gap straight away. Am changing things anyway such as the stories we read before bed and things like that so hopefully it'll be a passing phase.

how are you vegas ?

Hi all,

Can I join you ladies please? I was diagnosed with a MMC on 2 March at 9 weeks and had ERPC on 3 March. I am slowly getting myself back on track and, although we are going to wait for my first af before thinking about trying, I thought it would be nice to join you all here!

MMC#1 2/3, ERPC 3/3, WTTC, WFC(!), UCL 28 days

Hoping for lots of luck for you all!

SGxxx

jkklpu · 12/03/2011 14:28

Securegal - Welcome and very sorry you're here. I just joined a couple of days ago and everyone has been very kind. Impressed you've worked out all the acronyms already; there are still a few that mystify me ....

Ninunina · 12/03/2011 15:43

ceo so sorry your ds is having trouble sleeping. I used to be so scared of the dark. Still am sometimes. I hope it's just a phase. Sorry you're feeling sick too. Did you suffer from ms with ds?

Welcome newbies, there seem to be a lot of you this week. I'm sorry you're here, but it will provide you with a lot of support, plus it's a lucky thread, so you've come to the right place.

cep · 12/03/2011 16:19

welcome securegal sorry you find yourself here, but the ladies on here are fantstic.

ninu how are you feeling hon? i'm hoping it's a very short phase, will see tonight, he had a good night sleep last night and dh has taken him to the park so he should be good and tired. i didn't get much ms with ds only when i wasn't eating, so i just made sure i was eating all the time. Grin

Reallyusefulengine · 12/03/2011 17:05

Hello all,

Am back from hospital. Had the laparoscopy and they didn't find the pregnancy in the tubes, it turned out to be in the uterus afterall but not growing properly. They didn't remove it as they wanted to scan the next day just in case and I'm now miscarrying and have the start of a pinkish bleed (nice shade, slightly like my bridesmaid's outfits) and achy cramps. My HCG levels have plummeted so am just waiting for it all to start happening properly. Although I don't quite know what to expect. Am uncomfortable from the surgery and the stitches etc and still feel a bit breathless but would like it to happen rapidly if poss. Any advice? Only remembered I had no pads just before bed and had to fashion one out of half a nappy (yes, really.) for night time.

I hope everyone is well and hello to the new people. Can I add my stats too? I will definately be sticking around Smile

meliesmummy · 12/03/2011 17:18

Hi everyone, back from work and very tired, day shifts are hard work!

Cep that sounds like hard going, have you tried posting on a behaviour thread? The things that help dd to settle are a night light and we've told her that monsters are scared of her teddy so it's his job to take care of her at night. I hope it goes well tonight x

really it sounds like you're going through a lot, at least it turned out not to be ectopic though. I don't know about passing it naturally sorry, I had a medically managed one but I'm sure someone else will know, look after yourself over the next few days x

Hi new ladies x

Thanks LILI, more fresh blood this afternoon, I feel like this whole process is never ending! I think I'll go to the gp, I want this to be sorted.

I think I'm going to offer to buy dh and dd dinner, can't be arsed to cook/supervise dh cooking!

olismum23 · 12/03/2011 17:25

Hi all
just a quick one to say my DH and I are going to stop TTC for a while. I am going to try very hard to get fit and lose my comfort weight first. Is it ok if i still lurk??

cep · 12/03/2011 19:48

really glad it wasn't an ectopic. when i had my mmc the sac had grown a bit, so if i remember correctly i think i had a little blood then lost the sac then major blood and clots and stuff. But i can't remember if i had blood before the sac or not. Confused

ok just put him to bed, he still said he was scared, but stayed in bed if i stayed in there with him. We stole the light out of dss's room and let him choose if he wanted it on the table or floor. i just stayed till he fell asleep.

oli please do lurk and post if you feel the need to, don't totally disappear. Grin

ok, i'm not feeling too positive today, sorry if a downer, went to loo and had a bit of pink on tissue, checked cm and had bloody cm. went to loo a bit later and had a glob of pink cm. it's about the same time as last pg when i had similar and then went for my first scan, so now thinking isn't going to well. Sad

Collie2 · 12/03/2011 20:11

Hi everyone, it's been a quiet few days in the thread, especially for us Smile. I hope everyone is ok?

cep sorry about your ds, poor little fella. No idea what advice to offer but you sound like your doing lots of right things. I hope he sleeps tonight. How's the sickness? Hope it's not too bad x.

securegal welcome to the thread. Sorry for your loss but glad to hear you are recovering slowly.

chloe how are you feeling today? Still no AF I assume? No news is at least good news.

For some of those who know A&R, think she's mc-ing. So sad. She's on the freak out and common room threads.

harassed did you test? Have a nice night tonight.

oils I think waiting to ttc until your ready is good. I hope you will still lurk and post to keep us updated.

No news from me. Tired and a bit grumpy/emotional today. Which is frustrating as had such a lovely day yesterday. I've started symptom spotting despite my greatest efforts not to. I def had one swollen boob- this seemed to happen last time, they swelled at greater rates. Also had couple of hot flushes and had major 'hot' issues last time and my right hand keeps swelling up???? Also had mild pains/cramps last few days. Doing my best not to get any hopes up. Would just really like a few ttc obsessed free days.

Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday.

Oh cep just realised I missed your post writing my last one. I am sorry you've got spotting.

I think that pink cm can happen and all can be ok, from my occassional lurking on the freak out room I know lots of them have had this. Are you on that thread? Why not post as I'm sure they'll be able to reassure you better than me. It's hard not to worry I know, especially if it's around the same time as your last mc, but this is a diff pg. Try to get lots of rest. Maybe visit your gp and see if you can get a scan? Or hcg tests at least.
((big hugs))

Hi everyone

Would it be ok if I joined too? You all sound lovely.

I had a mc in nov after ttc no1 for a year. Started trying again in jan but no luck yet. Trying hard not to stress but really don't want to wait another year! (I'm 36 by the way)

Got engaged a week ago and really want to set a date but then think i'll just give it another month- very shallow i know but don't want to be eight months pregnant in my wedding pics!! But do really want to be pregnant! And get married-so confusingSmile

Lots of luck to everybody xxxx

meliesmummy · 12/03/2011 21:02

olis good luck and lurk away x

Cep glad bedtime went well. Sorry about the pink cm, if it helps I bled on and off for the first 12 weeks with dd. Can you get to the gp for reassurance? I'll be keeping everything crossed for you xxx

collie I hope those symptoms come to something, when can you test?

Hi Minnie, pull up a cushion and get comfy x

Sad news about AandR, she got her bfp just after I joined, hope she's ok. :(

I've decided to definately see the gp on Monday morning, even if he/she just sends me away at least ive tried, I'm sick of not knowing what's going on. I'm off to bed, ive been up since 5, I'm done in!
