Donne thy robes and come join the hagges round a crackling fire made of ye olde pee sticks, as we run around nekkid, high on snorted baybeedust, and do our straynge erotick rituals on the altar of ye inconstant moon.

Come one, come all as we cast spelles and do any Magick we can finde on our queste for an elusive win.

Bring thy gynne for yon cauldron and help thyself to a laddle, as we prepare the incantationnes...

Evening all- I had a mochathing in costa coffee earlier and now I feel sick, do you think I is diffed? Never mind that am currently experiencing red tsunami of doom droid is still menkally over the top and shouty after mc, think its old age Confused

Am Sad for AH and her family- the most horrendous thing imaginable, and to have everyone knowing about it, and wanting to read about it....and please what is the relevance of bringing up Lily Allen and Kym Marsh in the articles? Have just rewritten this sentence 54 times, it makes my blood boil so much I can't even articulate how absurd it is.

boo get better. That's an order. Would you like us to take droid aggression techniques out on your bugs?

salad hope you enjoying beauuuuutifuuul romantic reunion with TB and some toblerone.

Molette op is tomorrow- poss another reason why I be feeling sick. She's been on top form this week, really lively and funny, and I'm feeling pretty evil that we're doing this to her. Sad In one way want it over, but in another there will be obvious sign that it's been done, which am not looking forward to at all, so generally just wish it would all go away. (not meaning to be cryptic, just bit embarrassed even though I know it's not all our fault, it still seems defensive to say so; she has very weak enamel and her teeth have basically crumbled since they arrived, so she has to have lots out. ) I can't think of another area of child rearing where you can get it so obviously right or wrong- psychological damage is so much harder to see, and usually only manifests itself when they've grown up and left home so you can be in denial. Teeth is so...obvious! Luckily my lovely friends and family have been very lovely and supportive and pointed out that most of their children have a far worse diet etc, so at least i know the people I know understand, but it's those I don't that I'm dreading. Sorry, for rant, and rant about child (see, this is why we need another thread!) just needed to get it off me chest.
As you were.

Gin and fit men. Yum.

fishandlilacs · 06/02/2011 18:49

Hello All.

pony I should have used the term "forever house lottery win/massive suprise inheritance pending!" because obviously you never know whats around the corner. Also I utterly utterly hate moving, so unless we come into a huge pot of money or this house falls down round our ears then were here for the duration.

The news a about AH is terribly sad, tragic as Boo says. Theres no words for that.

boo glad you're feeling a tiny bit better. My morning mission in town was quite funny asking everywhere for PS2 controllers.

Stomprocket You made me pine for the sidmouth days. I stewarded that festival so many years running. I doubt i'd have the energy now though-those hours were LONG! I would love to go again. I bet Minifish would adore it.

Am v knackered after a family visit from The manfish extended family. We had a really stupid angry spat again because whenever his fam come down I refuse to do the organising becuase I organise every damn thing else round here. He fucked up at christmas had done nothing for them at all and had me racing round the house 20 minutes before we were due to drive up there getting a present together. Today he didn't bother to book a table for lunch, 7 of us FFS grrrr. I had a pop at him about in the car and he nearly ripped the gearstick off the car when he accidently stalled. I wouldn't mind but it's every time. I refuse to pick up the mantle.

I am very Hmm about him at the moment. But then I have raging predroidal anger so i'm probably BU.

Rant over...and breathe.

Bitey-your random injuries seem to compare to some of my past endeavours. I woke up today with a random finger injury. It hurts to bend my little fingin on right hand but I have no idea why or how!

HighPriestessBoo · 06/02/2011 20:10

Oh Moley poor littleMole will send prayers / goodvibes (whichever you want) tomorrow for her op.

The whole TV situation has been quite good in a way - MrBoo can't play hus PS3 so we got the PS2 out and have bonded over games - I've been playing Sonic the hedgehog with small child today and he loves it. And I like the volume - the smaller TV doesn't go as loud. It's all rather nice :)

Fishface Oh dear. Angry at MrFish. That is a but crap.

HighPriestessBoo · 06/02/2011 20:10

his bit

having an i/u fail!

fishandlilacs · 06/02/2011 20:28

Good luck for tomorrow Molette and some support and thoughts for you too Moley-hard to see the wee un's go through stuff like that x

HighPriestessBoo · 06/02/2011 20:44

One hour of Sonic and I'm heading for the Night Nurse, that stuff is gooood :o

starnosemole · 06/02/2011 20:57

boo are you actually saying that the world might be a better place without tv? I mean, god, we'd have to talk to each other and everything Wink

Thanks yous- am very appreciative of any good will, be it prayers or vibes, have lined up top dvd selection for recovery process, so am focussed on that for now, just get through 'no food after 7.30am', little blip of hospital, and then sofa snuggling here we come.Smile

count down to Mitchell- in 10....

Truffkin · 06/02/2011 21:03

Hope all goes well for the minimole tomorrow

Boo loving the retro gaming day! I wonder what would get TGB off his ps3? Shouldn't complain really as he did let me watch Got To Dance.

Thanks all for reassuring me re: terminology fail earlier. Glad I didn't upset ma BESHes.

We also watched 'The Expendables' earlier. It was shit. We are both glad we didn't waste our monies going to the cinema when it was first out. In happier news I have prioritised 'The Blindside' so that should come next and I am reliably informed that it is actually worth watching.

Am also so full of stew & mashed potatoes that I look like I might be joining Rie in the secret differs gang, although I'd probably be just about to birth. It was too nice to stop eating though Blush

Hope you feel better tomoz Boo and see, Richard Ashcroft was wrong because the drugs do work if administered appropriately.

Truffkin · 06/02/2011 21:11

P.S Boo am excited for vicarious closeness of dwellings, our own place is just up the road from that house (although we rent it out at the moment whilst we are in that there London) and am hoping to be happily ensconced in the royal town by the end of the year.

This hopefulness also involves a small baybee, being very cute and quiet whilst I host 'perfect Christmas' (looking fab in my role of yummy mummy hostess with the mostess) and TGB does manly things like carve the turkey, pour whiskey and chop logs for the fire. All whilst we graciously accept compliments on our perfect baby, house, dinner, festive decs, thoughful choice of gifts, ability to arrange perfect Christmas whilst caring for tiny baby and still manage to look like Boden catalogue model family.

I sense I may have over thought this Hmm

Wine
starnosemole · 06/02/2011 21:50

truff thank you for making me feel better about my secret fantasy life of perfection. (though you missed out home grown dinner/present selection and hand crafted clothes/decorations/presents)(oh, and chickens)

Wine (homebrewed from own grapes)

Bruce Parry is thwarting my Mitchell viewing, am going to have to wait til ten. bah.

Ivegotmrbitey · 06/02/2011 22:08

I used to luff Bruce starry but not digging this series at all. The FDH makes me watch it in return for obem. Think it is all the snow and all the killing of seals, polar bears and whales! I understand that the people who live there need to eat these animals and am not usually so sentimental but they are my top three of things I like to see alive!

BrownB · 06/02/2011 22:11

Hello there ladies. This weekend I took my own advice and drank ALL the wine Wine. I also had gin. I probably shouldn't have done that, but fuckit...

Mole - sorry about the smallmole op, and best wishes for that.

Rie - I hope your chappie sorted his shite out, and same goes for you fish.

This stuff any good for hangovers on Monday morning?

Ariesgirl · 06/02/2011 22:16

Evening all.

All the best to littlemole tomorrow. Poor little thing and poor MoleParents. Try not to worry - I know that's a stupid thing to say. Sorry Blush

In Mitchell news, that slapper Annie snogged him. Yes! The BITCH!

I was just saying to MrA how programmes like Bruce Parry's annoy me, or at least his little soliloquy at the end. Problem is, he is preaching to the converted. He talks about how "we" can't let any more damage be done to the Arctic. I KNOW that! And I'm sat here in my little house and doing as much as I can to minimise climate change - we have made some very major changes to the business to that effect this year and have just gone down to one car and sold the Landy and have insulation and fecking ecobulbs etc. However we in our little houses in the UK are absolutely powerless to have any influence on what a 2 billion Chinese or Indians or 300 million Americans are doing, and what their governments are doing and even what our government are doing and their friends the energy companies are doing. And there are so many people who absolutely refuse to countenance that they should have to make any changes to their lifestyles at all.

Makes me v sad and depressed.

So obviously I prefer to watch Mitchell Grin

Ariesgirl · 06/02/2011 22:17

PS and how much CO2 did that programme's production emit, eh?

starnosemole · 06/02/2011 22:28

Annie, reassuring self when scared:'I'm already dead, I'm already dead, I'm already dead' Genius!

Truffkin · 06/02/2011 23:23

Sorry Mole you are right, there should at least have been some reference to root veg dug from my own carefully tended patch on my allotment. I think the table presents could be homemade jams and chutneys with hand-calligraphed labels and festive bows toed on them. I would also have artfully arranged vases of flowers and wreaths of holly / ivy / mistletoe all hand cut from my garden that very morning.

TGB has just decided to watch the start of the superbowl

BarbiesBeaver · 07/02/2011 10:01

Hope all goes well today with the minimole. You are being a great parent Molester by doing the best thing for her. If her teeth are giving her gyp then it will make her feel much better.

Sorry for all the droidal appearances, I hope a hefty slug of cauldron scum will help alleviate the shiteness.

PS. Can you all stop bloody stalking me? I was at Sidmouth yesterday in the wind and could feel my ears burning. Now I know why.

PPS. Yes but Rie you didn't build your house out of your own excrement and rubbish did you? So all the glaciers melting is ALL YOUR FAULT. That's how I always end up feeling after watching programs like that.

rocketleaf · 07/02/2011 10:07

I will be thinking of molette today, hope it goes well. x

owlbooty · 07/02/2011 10:41

BB I hope you went to the cake/tea shop on top of the cliff. I have never seen cakes as big as they make there. Swiss roll slices the size of your head. I kid you not.

Moley hope all goes well and is as stress free as possible x

I would like to enquire whether the sainted Bruce of Parry travels by slow boat to his far-flung destinations or does he (gasp) have a Large Carbon Footprint?

I will not allow Mr Smug to make me feel guilty, I recycle pretty much everything I can, I compost things, I grow my own fruit and veg and I drive a car so small that I suspect it runs on a lawnmower engine. Yes, I would like to do more but realistically I cannot afford to super insulate my house or buy solar panels or etc etc. I still feel middle-class guilt though. Maybe when the Owlet turns up I can clothe him in compostable bin liners and forgo nappies altogether.

I am excessively tired and ranty today. No change there, then.

HighPriestessBoo · 07/02/2011 10:42

Hello Barbiegirl how goes it with the diffage?

Well, I'm not at work. I did try, but when I was standing in the kitchen all ready to go, breathing like Darth Vader and snot with the texture of treacle was still coming out despite the decongestants I had laid out ready to take first thing, I admitted defeat. Called work, who told me to take tomorrow off as well. It's my two day week, so that's me done then. I would say 'yipee' sofa day, but I feel mizz, because I like work and I wanted to go back :(

BarbiesBeaver · 07/02/2011 11:19

But you can't go to work and contaminate everyone if you are poorly Boobs. Sometimes you have to admit defeat and snuggle down in front of Jeremy Kyle daytime telly under a blanket and rest. Are you on your own all day? Get reading a nice book and watch some trashy tv and make the most of it.

I'm feeling good thanks, but won't go into details as that might be annoying for those waiting for their win still. I think we must be due for another win soon anyway, they have been a bit thin on the ground as of late.

Bootsy I didn't go to that cake shop sadly. Have you been to the one in Lyme Regis on the little cobbledy street? They make the most amazing custard tarts and brownies in there. And pasties. God I could murder one of those nutmeggy little tarts right now.

owlbooty · 07/02/2011 11:30

God I luff them so much. And no I have not yet discovered the one in Lyme Regis - YET.

starnosemole · 07/02/2011 11:36

Had phone call an hour ago asking if we could either cancel for today or postpone til 4 pm. Grin this is me smiling through gritted teeth.

Now embarking on 5th craft project of the morning...

Happy Mondays to all

BarbiesBeaver · 07/02/2011 11:41

Oh bloody hell Mole that is annoying. The perils of having surgery organised for a Monday I guess - you get bumped back after all the weekend emergencies. What are you going to do?

HighPriestessBoo · 07/02/2011 11:47

Oh what a pain in the arse Molina. Cbeebies?
