It's something to do with anaesthetist being unavailable til then,so you're prob right barbie- she's currently very happily sticking stickers all over daddy's bald head while I watch Toy Story 3 (bought for recuperation but bumped up) so all's well- and they let us know when there was still time for her to eat something else which is a bonus.

This film is sooooooooooooooo good. Buzz has just turned spanish- AIBU to find him a wee bit sexy?

Oh God I have managed to eat an entire bag of M&S Extremely Chocolately Caramels and now feel like I might actually vom. The nausea is a symptom isn't it? Hmm

Mole annoying delay but at least you didn't have to keep her nil by mouth all day! Hope things go well now.

Agree with you Botty that I won't be made to feel bad by these hypocrits who fly around the globe to film eco-docs. I recycle, use public transport 90% of the time, use low energy light bulbs, turn the tap off when brushing my teeth, take showers instead of baths, buy local produce whenever possible, wear a jumper instead of turning the heating up and I even spent a day planting trees recently The people who don't give a toss won't be watching that kind of programme anyway! My FIL doesn't 'believe' in climate change, so I am about up to here with this debate.

PILs and climate change eh? I think what they mean is they don't believe in man made CO2 emission caused climate change. They'll believe in climate change on its own soon enough I reckon.

When we look for houses that we will never ever ever be able to afford to buy anyway not even a first time buy Angry we always discount ones which are less than 10m below sea level. Probably very sill, but there it is.

Yes Calibri that is exactly what he thinks! I kind of get it to some extent but this is from the man who thinks the answer to every social problem in the country is 'block the M6' and waffles on about protesting, this generation isn't as efective as mine etc etc etc. He didn't attend a single protest in his life!

Disclaimer - I love my FIL and he is a good man, but sometimes his ridiculous opinions wind me right up.

My dad doesn't believe in it either, he says its all to do with sun spots and that we should be more worried about being hit by a meteor as that is far more likely than a man made catastrophe (yes great THANKS dad now I can stress over something I have no control over as WELL as the recycling/food shop/thermostat) I have had the argument with him so many times I just roll my eyes these days. I am sure he thinks tat way so he can sit there in a short sleeved shirt in mid winter.

rie if(when) the glaciers fall off can we retreat to your house? currently living about a meter above sea level :( I seem to remember bagsying the garden shed a while back.

Well you could. But we only have 1 1/2 bedrooms and the 1/2 is full of junk. We are only about 11 metres above sea level as well. In my more paranoid moments I have calculated how much time we would have if a tsunami was heading our way to head to higher ground. If the Canaries fell into the sea, as has been suggested, this possibility is quite likely Shock As well as wiping out the Eastern Seaboard of the USA as well of course, just like in Deep Impact. I actually have nightmares about it, silly cah that I am.

Tell RocketDad sunspot activity is at a very low level at the moment. However did you see Knowing when it was on at Christmas? Even though it was wildly unrealistic and idiotic, it scared me to death!

Have had v relaxed month of not taking temps, charting etc and have the sechs for fun!! I know there is v little chance of winning at the mo so feel much more chilled out. Although still can't help thinking surely it just takes one little swimmer??

Have been loving looking at all the BESH dream houses.

I didn't arial I tend not to watch anything that would worry my like that. Talking of tv, is anyone going to watch Outcasts tonight? I am rather excited about it so hope it doesn't disappoint! Our V box feel over during the recording of Being Human last night which I am not happy about but I suppose I can always watch it on iPlayer

boo i dont think you would NEED to see the first 2 series to enjoy it, but you WOULD be missing out on 2 series of Mitchell deliciousness which would be a shame. I would get MrBoo to acquire the first 2 from some nefarious place on the internet for you.

sunnyD do you live in your dream house or did you do a link fail there because both of those lead to a lovely house on Keddleston Rd. As it happens, I used to live of Keddleston rd but it was in halls not a lovely house like that unfortunately.
