Welcome back Alps. How was the snow? Sorry about the droid and the general upset-ness. Sucks big time. As for the police stop... that sounds slightly stressful. I got two speeding tickets when I was in NZ. Didn't find out about them until I got back to the UK though.

As for wheat and dairy; once upon a time, a few years back, I gave them both up for a while. [Was trying the Glycemic Index diet thingie] Right now though, this is the kick in the pants I need to stop myself eating cake and biscuits and [milk] chocolate, truth be told. I'd have a harder time if he told me to stop eating sugar, as that is my drug of choice. But he didn't. I checked the paperwork. Ha! My real dilemma is... does butter count as a dairy product? I'm in the "no' camp.

Botty - am off swimming tonight. Go me too! Slurps some of the punch from the steaming cauldron to sustain me in the pool... Tequila will ensure I don't remember the pain.

I dyed my hands blue last year troggle making the FDH a surfer birthday cake. It was piss poor but much photographed. The blue hands ruined the surprise element though.

Birthday went well yesterday, nice and chilled, the party is tomorrow though and I think it may be a bit hectic - 15 3 year olds plus parents invited, and then all my family (9 of them) decided that they would like to come to 'help'. What this means in reality is that they will all stand around talking to each other and catching up while I run around barking instructions at them and losing my rag until the hordes of rampaging pre-schoolers arrive. What was I thinking?!

In my 2WOOFling news - the 5 day nausea has culminated in the 'upset tummy' to end all 'upset tummies' so that's explained that one away. I am still poorly now and was meant to be cooking a chilli today ready to heat up tomorrow at the party (as I'm feeding the adults too) - I can't cook until I feel better because I don't want to pass my lurgy on to anyone, amd I'm because I haven't got time to be ill!
Droid is due Monday, I am feeling too bleagh to be able to work out if I have PMT or not but I have had an aching womble, tender buzzwams and lower back ache so I think the rusty fucker beckons :(

Truffs Lovely community minded neighbours are making a veggie 3 bean chilli and all of them are going to be cooking potatoes in their ovens. I should stop bloody moaning shouldn't I? I'm stressy because I also have to pack for center parks as we leave on Monday morning. Every time I stand up my head spins. I have, and this shows how bad it is, just refused a bacon sandwich.

Good job I have the trusty 'hair dye' towel that has several shades of red, brown, violet upon it from previous experiments!

DH and I have just had a row, Minicheese is poorly with shingles, shes only 3 FFS and being pretty challenging at the moment. Billigerent is the word I would choose.

She has little appetite and is grazing on fruit, yog and plain chicken, but he keeps insisting she comes to the table, I think it's pointless. It's causing a battle of wills at mealtimes. He is thinking of her in extremes too, labelling her eg

"why are you always like this?"

"It's every night were having this same arguement"

It's not every night, 2 weeks ago I couldn't feed her enough, ate like a dream and she was delightful company the whole time. He seems to conveniently forget that and just focuses on the bad stuff she does, then wonder why she wants nothing to do with him.

I think any thoughts of secshing tonight is off the agenda. He's being a bit of a shit. grrr. I am quite angry with him, but he has just apologised.
