Ok ladies, here's the new thread, let's hope it's a lucky one!

cookiemoo · 26/11/2010 07:05

Happy Friday!!!!
Just wondered if my cd could be updated to 10? Ertd arrived after my gynae apptmnt, I'm waiting to go for further tests :(
Hoping the new thread brings lots of bfp's, I'm feeling positive we're going to have a flurry for Christmas! :) :) :)

ToriaPumpkinHead · 26/11/2010 09:14

I love Elf too Flick! I actually have two copies atm as one is faulty but when I went to take it back the customer service was closed for the day Hmm

Kaloki I always did it oraly, pretty sure everyone I know who has tried this did it that way as well, there are some things you don't want to think about when someone gets sick and asks to borrow your thermometer!

Cavey Enjoy Harry Potter! As a bit of a book purist even I liked this one Grin

Bit confused today as what I thought was he start of ERTD turned out to be a few hours of spotting which has disappeared. Pretty sure it's just toying with me and will be back with a vengeance later today, especially as I now think I can feel cramps starting. Oh well, have a birthday party tonight so will now be able to indulge in the cocktails guilt free Grin

Just popping back to ask for your help in a style and beauty dilemma

I have The Rage, spots and sore nipples so am not holding out much hope for ERTD not to arrive in the next few days. Oh well, forewarned is forearmed!

gardenpixie · 26/11/2010 10:04

Hello all,

Just checking with in with everyone. Not much news from me - I'm on my third day of clomid and really enjoying the deep sleep it seems to cause!

Sorry I don't have time to do a proper post, I have to run off to a meeting but wanted to say hello, hope ERTD stays away from everyone and let's see how many BFPs we can squeeze in before the end of the month!

Grin
JosieSmith1 · 26/11/2010 15:53

Afternoon everyone, just a quick pop in to say I'm feeling a bit better after speaking to vet about horse being stuck in and she's put my mind at rest a bit so not feeling as despairing as I was!

Haven't got time to catch up properly as I'm off out tonight for a meal (and I think I deserve it!) so will try really really hard to catch up over the weekend, I know I've not been a good MNer this week!

xx

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 26/11/2010 16:02

CaveMum · 26/11/2010 16:34

Whoop whoop! That means (technically) that your BFP belongs to Flicks thread [tries to make MissFlick feel better about her thread]

Well done Ifatfirst. Huge congratulations to you and your DP.

raspberrytipple · 26/11/2010 20:09

congratulations ifatfirst that's great news. Right ladies, we are off to a fabulous start, get your shag capes on and get going. First one to the next BFP gets a big snog under the mistletoe from George Clooney*

*terms and conditions apply. Please read small print Grin

TigerseyeMum · 26/11/2010 22:24

Congratulations Ifatfirst that's fab news.

Kaloki I read my fertility book earlier to work out what to do with my new thermometre, and Toni Weschler says you either do it orally or vaginally but do it consistently as vaginally gives hotter readings.

Then I thought, well, you'd want to be consistent as you wouldn't want to pop it in your mouth at a later date...

Have a lovely weekend everyone, capes at the ready Grin

Karstan · 27/11/2010 08:14

Woohoo snow!

Can go play at being a big kid again rather than be thinking about making a small kid :-)

Huge congratulations Ifatfirst and much celebratory mulled wine all round!

Cookie sorry ERTD got you - am I right in putting you down for CD11 today?

Hope everyone else is well and keeping warm today! Must dash to get DH some tea ... to counteract the hangover he brought home with him VERY late last night! [wags finger emoticon]

MissFlick · 27/11/2010 09:05

Morning all,

Huge congratulations ifatfirst! thanks for coming back to let us know! Let this be the start of many BFPs for us.

Sorry I can't catch up as am on phone on my way home from shopping for a new dress for my friends hen party. The hens have to wear black and the only black things I have in my watching and either work clothes or casual tops. I had no luck finding a nice dress so am now in a big mood and am on my way home to sulk on the sofa until Mr.F gets in from rugby this eve.

Am having a bad day and feeling hugely emotional which is always how I feel the day before ERTD arrives :( I even started to cry in M&S when I saw the advent calendars as I realised that my mum hadn't sent me one this year, I am 27 so I need to get a grip really! It sounds pathetic but I just can't ever see myself getting
pregnant and am feeling really down and hopeless about it today :( sorry for the negativity and me,me,me x x

MissFlick · 27/11/2010 09:07

Also sorry for the typos! I mean wardrobe and are

CaveMum · 27/11/2010 09:57

Oh MissFlick have a (((hug))) from me.

Sorry your shopping trip was a disappointment, I'm sure you'll find something.

As for feeling emotional, it is completely understandable. You have all sorts of hormones raging through your system! I'm still keeping everything crossed that this is your month.

You've been nothing but lovely and supportive to everyone on this thread and no one deserves a BFP more than you.

Instructions for this evening - feet up, bottle glass of vino collapso, good food and some trashy tv/films.

raspberrytipple · 27/11/2010 11:01

Aww Flick hug from me too. I always have the same problem trying to find something to wear when I have to buy something new because I have nothing appropriate. I agree with Cavey you definitely deserve the next BFP and it will happen, honestly it will hun so hang in there and enjoy the wine suggested by cavey for this evening.

Well, I am now on CD15, had masses of EWCM yesterday. DP put out on Thursday evening when we got in from work but wouldnt be tempted last night as he'd been to the gym and I was knackered too and he wouldn't put out AGAIN this morning but I think its cos we are expecting the landlords for our inspection at some point this morning and he didnt want to get caught out!

hope Josie and Crazy both enjoyed your nights out last night!

Right, I'm off for a mooch around the town. Have a nice weekend all xx

CrazyAlien · 27/11/2010 13:20

congrats Ifatfirst :)

cookiemoo · 27/11/2010 14:02

Thx Garden I am CD11 today!
Sorry your feeling down today Flick, here's a large slice of gooey chocolate cake. There's plenty for everyone, I know I'll be indulging!
Take care. X

CrazyAlien · 27/11/2010 17:03

ooo cookiemoo choccie cake! Can I have a slice ? :0)

Well girlies I thought that my Sex and the city 2 DVD would arrive on Monday when it is released but yay it arrived today :0) So I am off over my friends house to watch it and eat rubbish and drink! will wrap up warm as walking there lol.

I booked an appointment at Zita West clinic today as want to be nosey and find out if there is anything "wrong" with me lol. I have also bought the AMH test thingy so hopefully that will tell me something else. Anyone else had a blood test to check anything? we have to fill in a questionnaire too which is going to be hilarious as you have to have a food diary for two weeks lol I live off of jaffa cakes and chocolate!oooooooops

How is Saturday going for you all?

x

JosieSmith1 · 27/11/2010 22:30

Congrats IfatFirst!!!!!

Had a good night thanks Raspberry, italian restaurant and 2 bottles of wine between a few of us went down pretty well Grin.

Hope you enjoy Sex and the City CrazyAlien, me and DH love it though he would never admit it Grin

Hope you're all having good weekends, I don't know if you've all got as much snow as we have but there's about 7 inches today and set to be in for 2 weeks! The roads are a nightmare.

I think now the winter's definitely here I've pulled myself together a bit as I've got the horse and people depending on me so I've just got to get on with it, thanks for listening to my little rants over the past couple of weeks, I've not been myself and I've not been coping very well but I'm doing much better Smile

MissFlick · 28/11/2010 05:34

Morning everyone,

Thanks for your understanding and hugs yesterday cave, cookie and raspberry. I'm feeling slightly better today although I did burst into tears in the butchers because I couldn't find salmon on the list of products that they stocked- I knew it was on there as I had seen it last week! Then they didn't have the right kind of beef for the stew I wanted to make and Mr.F was being really unhelpful and not telling me what he wanted for dinner tonight so I just felt really overwhelmed and started to cry Blush Mr. F was very embarrassed!

Hope you enjoyed SATC alien and that you wrapped up warm on your ay to your friend's house!

Glad you're feeling a bit brighter josie Hop eyou don't get snowed in Grin although that would be good for SWI wouldn't it?!

Hope your moving weekend has gone well lanky and that you're settled in your cozy and gorgeous new place now xx

Big waves to everyone else xx

Morning All

Just popping in to say a quick hello and because the grads thread is so quiet

Flick sorry to hear you've been feeling a bit down Sad. Hope you manage to find a lovely dress for the hen party. Am keeping everything crossed for you to get a BFP very soon. We need your chattiness over on the other thread Grin

cavey how was Harry Potter? I have asked for all the films so far on DVD for Christmas so hopefully that will keep me going a while. We've just finished the last series of 24 and have just started watching V

garden I hope this clomid cycle is successful for you.

Congrats to ifatfirst - hope you come and join the grads.

Big hello to everyone else

Also wanted to find out if anyone would like my Clear Blue Digital Monitor? It's sitting in a box under my bed so I figured it might as well go to a good home. Didn't work for me because my cycles were Always so
irregular so it's in good, hardly used condition (bar a few scratches from where it was transported about). Let me know & I can pop it in the post on Monday

Lots of love to you all and lashings of baby dust.

Bella

CaveMum · 28/11/2010 09:26

Morning all!

Bellaby nice to see you! HP was very good, i only cried 3 times! I'm a complete cry baby when it comes to films - the first point at which I cried was only a minute or two in!

Hope everyone has a warm, cosy Sunday!

raspberrytipple · 28/11/2010 10:08

Oh Bellamy I would if you are sure? Shall I email you? How do I nip into the grads thread? I couldn't find it the other day and I wanted to see how a few were getting on?
