A If hell is at the bottom of a bottle of Merlot it can't be that bad a place.

Lotsasechs really does seem to work. It's a pity.

Ariesgirl · 14/10/2010 22:37

But can I use fake tan?

We are very angry with Crap Hated Cold Rented House. MrA was in the midst of uploading some very important researchy stuff we collected this afternoon onto the computer mid power cut. It's all been lost, LOST! Angry

Headbanger · 14/10/2010 22:41

Oh noes Aries Sad. That's hellish. HELLISH. And to be cold too. That just about puts the tin lid on everything, doesn't it? Now I've remembered that you don't have a sweet tooth and have baked you this

milanomum · 14/10/2010 22:43

and I like your food too Wink
What a crap house. Are you in some kind of psychological experiment to see how long people survive without central heating and a reliable power source?
Bet it's very nice in summer though.

Ariesgirl · 14/10/2010 22:45

No it's pretty shit in summer too milano. But we can't get anything better for the moment because landlords are such cunts when it comes to cats. Yes. I said cunts (not normal lingo from me). We're not cold yet though - I was just being wet yesterday

But thanks for the yummy tea. Nom nom nom

WhennyThePooh, have sent you a Mn msg (have said this here and in Deli, just so you see it)!

BrownB · 14/10/2010 23:00

woohoo - Milano and Monkee!!

Rie whatever you do, whatever they say, don't think about moving to New Zealand. People don't believe in central heating in NZ. You have to buy a down filled jacket to survive indoors in the winter, and have blankets on the sofa for watching TV.

PrincessBoo · 14/10/2010 23:07

Hello everyone. Back from yoga (well body balance but it's the same sort of thing). Went to friends house straight after and smoked 4 menthol fags, drank huge glass of white and ate half a bag of maltesers.
Hmmm... wonder why I'm not losing any weight?

liking the cuts of your jibs.

Cheesecake is my favourite favourite. Is there any left?

Sorry about your power cut hell Rie :(

I know it's not anywhere near in the same league but channel 4 won't work for us here. Anyone else got the same problem?

Ariesgirl · 14/10/2010 23:09

I have a blanket on the sofa. Doesn't everyone Grin? It's true though funnily enough - MrA and are hardly ever ill with colds and flu and the like. I know I was whinging a week or so ago about feeling poorly, but it only lasted a day and I am a terrible wimp. I was rightly told to HTFU! But Christ - NZ! It can be freezing there! When I was in California in January a few years ago, their heating was on full blast. And really cheap!

Is it being really weird to want a pet octopus?

OP posts:
PrincessBoo · 14/10/2010 23:25

Not wierd. I think I'd like to swap the old annoying cat for an Octopus. At least they stay in one place rather than shitting everywhere but in the litter tray. Angry

I do love him but he's getting worse. If we leave him in when we go out then we invariably have to play 'hunt the poo' when we get back.

PrincessBoo · 14/10/2010 23:41

Have broke Fred with terrible cat poo stories. Sorry. Grin

Ariesgirl · 14/10/2010 23:42

I have a digging pain in my right ovarian region. Should I be worried?

OP posts:
PrincessBoo · 14/10/2010 23:46

Is it the sort of pain you could get rid of with a paracetamol? Or is it worse than that?

Ariesgirl · 14/10/2010 23:50

Oh too not bad. A hot water bottle would be nice though. I don't think we've got any paracetamol - I've eaten it all. We've got some ibuprofen but I don't want to take any in case I'm diffed.

You note I'm quite happy to chuck back Merlot though Hmm

OP posts:
PrincessBoo · 14/10/2010 23:57

Whereabouts are you in cycle?

Merlot poses very little risk to potential baybee whereas Ibuprofen (as you know) not recommended in first trimester. Knock it back love.

When I got updiffed after my mc (and was unaware) I was on holiday drinking copious amounts of gin every night and chain smoking.

PrincessBoo · 15/10/2010 00:06

If pain is worse in morning visit Docs.

Hope however that is magical sign of diffment.

PrincessBoo · 15/10/2010 00:17

Just had to pop back to put disclaimer that I am not recommending heavy alcohol intake as a strategy. I know this is a BESH thread, so you will all know where I was coming from, but you never know who else is out there. Grin

Ivegotmrbitey · 15/10/2010 07:28

sunshine I love Paxo too! Wanna share? Wink

LadyGoneGaga · 15/10/2010 07:41

Bleeping approacheth. 8dpo and rusty gusset. FFS.

AlpinePony · 15/10/2010 08:05

Huge congratulations to milano & monkee although I did skimread and see that milano had been doing bumsex - but apparently that was actually funsex. Although sunshine is also going for the bumsex route... interesting.

Welcome sunshine and kat. In addition to drinking & duty sex, we like ripping the piss out of fertility guides, 12 year old gynaecologists and people who say things like "today I carried a cake, will I have harmed my baybee?" and "I had a row with my husband, will my baybee be born deaf?". Fucknuts.

boo I won a baby after a Body Balance class. It was a crap one and fell out - but a baybee nonetheless. I should've cemented it in with a green fag.

ladyG That's shit - are you sure it's not implantation sludge?

LadyGoneGaga · 15/10/2010 08:44

Not sure Alpine. I never spotted at this point in last two pregnancies. And this is a bit too thick and red? Like maroon ketchup (not Heinz, an own label cheapo version). Hormones prob completely fucked from mc still anyway. This is kind of a bonus go anyway (a free spin) as are defying the gyno's at hospital and trying before first period anyway. Might just head up the Mountain of Despair to blow the cobwebs away anyway. Oi, Byron, you're needed.

'Lo to the noobs. Some good answers.

Toddler chucked my ring down the sink last night never to be seen again. Was given to me by the evil ex anyway so prob a good thing, I wore it cos I liked it though Sad

Ok, so it's Friday, 9 am. Who's for gin and absinthe cocktail? With line of coke chaser?

Headbanger · 15/10/2010 08:45

Gah LGG, I feel your pain, in a very real and present sense. ALthough 8DPO pretty early for rusty gusset - I have a fairly short cycle and the rust didn't set in until 10DPO...?

Pony green fags solve everything TRUFAX.

PrincessBoo · 15/10/2010 08:49

Hooray for the green fag love. I love hanging with the BESHES. Even though we have put ttc 'on hold'. Yeah right...

rocketleaf · 15/10/2010 09:03

cough, this won't harm my baby will it?

feel a bit better today (touch wood) so maybe needling is helping. or maybe its the fact i went to bed at 9 pm, rock and roule.

welcome to everybodylovesthesunshine some quality newb action going on in these parts.

shame about the rusty gusset gee must be a bit confustulating trying to figure out what's going on :( chart was so promising.

rie hows the ovary this morning?

Truffkin · 15/10/2010 09:05

Lady shitty bleeping fucker. I know it was free go as you say but still, doesn't stop you hoping for ironidiff. Here's some eggs on toast, seeing as it's kind of breakfast time (I've laced the hollandaise Wink )

Whilst you were all busy chatting, drinking and welcoming noobs last night, I drove up the Middle lands and broke bread with my in laws. In a pleasing twist, my MIL law had bought me 200 marlies and large bottle of Smirnoff from recent holibobs - result.

Am wondering if good things come in threes like bad news. If so I think we've had ours for now as had giftage (see above) TGB surprise £300 tax rebate and finally Ryan Air moved our flights to Ireland next month to inconvenient times so we cancelled and rebooked and saved ourselves cash in the process!!!!11!!1!!!11

Am off to a wedding today so will be getting pissed and chain smoking feeling the love. Am hoping this seals win, but as above am concerned we're too lucky just now
