I need to take a holiday with some lovely peeps in the same position; I'm TTC#1 but had 2 mc's this year and now discovered my luteal phase is only 9 days (anything under 10 considered a defect) and probably the reason that I cannot retain a pregnancy.

If you have yet to be blessed with motherhood because mc has cruelly taken away your chance so far, then this is the place to retreat for some R & R whilst your body recovers.

Pull up a sun lounger, and lie back for some lighthearted banter and support whilst monitoring cycles or undergoing investigation and wash down the Vit B6, Agnus Castus, Progesterone and Clomid with a lovely vodka glass of sparkling spring water!!

i have also noticed the EVERYTHING ON TV HAS BABIES IN thing a lot recently. DH and I have been rewatching all the old series of ER - we started to put them on as our memory of them was that there weren't that many episodes which would start me off bawling again, but every single episode seemed to contain a baby of some kind.

I'm so miserable :( I can't think about anything except my failed pregnancy and failed IVF.

I think we've all got the blues at the moment! I don't mind admitting that whilst I am bloody chuffed for Nix and owl... I do feel a little but I hope our day will come and we'll all join that club soon too and that's what keeps me going!

PS Who mentioned mince pies, mulled wine and a gathering, gawd that sounds good!

I'm right in the middle of being good time but I've just finished my second bottle of wine this week! Do you think it's coz it's Xmas and we all should be so happy that we are feeling so extremely miserable?

that's one of the reasons DH and are are going away for xmas rather than doing the whole family thing. i just CAN'T be at home, where I was expecting to be majorly upduffed and really looking forward to meeting bub, over xmas without falling apart.

maybe i'll feel a bit better after my apt at the clinic (it's on monday mamac) but i can't feel festive right now. bring on the mulled wine and mince pies - maybe it'll help.

was determined to be festive and cheerful this weekend. but just found out that someone else is having yet another baby. why is it so easy for some people and so sodding hard for other people. having yet another wobble. sorry. just venting. i just want one so much it physically hurts every time i think about it. which is most of the time.

At least Wagner is finally out of the X Factor so I won't have to put up with his caterwauling this weekend!

I love that film, one of my fave xmas films, along with a Muppet Christmas carol and It's a wonderful life but I treated myself to SATC2 today so am on the sofa with the fab4 and Big for company ;-)
I'm up for a slice of the cake though, oh go on then a little mulled wine to wash it down be lovely.
It's so hard when everyone around you is either pg or seemingly very easily getting pg... But I guess we never know what those women have gone through to get their little beans. Feeling your pain but think positive...I know it's hard, I am determined to stay positive this month because DH is being fabulous and tomorrow we start SWI and we are both giving it our all this month!!

I cried again this morning (seems to be daily atm) coz our friend who was due a week after us had her little girl this morning :(

I feel bad for being so jealous and I actually said it isnt fair since she already has a 2yr old so why did she get to have another one when I dont have my first! I am a horrible person.

And yes please to the mulled wine but I am all mince-pied out atm!

Velvet there is absolutely no way you are a horrible person, I think it's fair to say we've all felt like that - extra teeth-grinding are the ones where it was an 'accident', grrrrrrrr.

There's a bunch of us in here who all arrived about the same sort of time and I have everything crossed that this thread will soon be empty because you've all got the bfps you so rightly deserve - it will happen.

And when it does I shall be doing my happy skippy dance because you lot are ace :) I've got everything crossed for a flood of Xmas bfps xx

Thanks for being so positive owl but I'm really not feeling it. I don't even think I am going to ov this month but at least that will stop me symptom spotting I guess! I am ready to give up. I have deleted my pg app and I'm looking at booking my Easter hol to japan which we wouldn't be able to do if I was pg.

I still have my fx for the rest of you though! I just get out of my pit of gloom for me atm :(

Well, DH left for the week yesterday, so we're officially done on the SWI front for this month! I haven't had another OPK+ or ewcm so if nothing by Weds/CD22 I will assume I did OV on day 14/15
