First of all thank you very much to my good friend NormaStanlelFletcher for organising the whole thing

Each mumsnetter that receives a parcel will see a number printed on it.

When adding to this thread could you all please mention the number so that the sender knows for definite it was their parcel.

I'm the purple sparkly gift bag lady, I'm glad you recieved the parcel in time. I would have spent more time making it attractive but I recieved my match yesterday and so went straight to P.O

Honestly, it is more than attractive enough!!! DS will love the book!!! And I tried the coat on dd and it fits her beautifully!!!!

If you do not mind, I was thinking of putting the £10 into their trust funds

Oh Santa you have a DD? That's GREAT!! I think it must be for you but the number of DDs was muddled or sommat. PLEASE keep it and give the stuff to your DD - hope it is suitable!!!!

Thank you to whoever sent me my parcels . Number 09995. Was actually 3
parcels in total but I think in my haste to tidy up I may have lost another number .

Thank you for the books, wooden food toy kit, Miffy bag, biscuits and Burts Bees smellies. It all turned up yesterday and made my day . I went round with a deranged grin on my face all afternoon .

I would like to say a heartfull thanks to my donors 09372 and 09913. I'm so happy I keep bursting into tears.

I'd just arrived home after braving a treacherous visit to the GP with ds2 when a delivery man arrived with a massive very well wrapped box ref 09372. I just couldn't believe it. Dh has just finished wrapping all the many gifts in the lovely paper you supplied, thank you, thank you, my dcs will love all the things you chose, in fact dh is convinced you know us in rl as you made such good choices! As an example of how good your choices were dh and I saw the night vision glasses in a shop a while ago but buying them wasn't an option, ds1 will LOVE them and at risk of outing myself to the world, dd1's nickname is Doodle, she will adore the pony.

I would also very much like to thank 09913 for the most beautiful dress and headband for dd1. Dd1 is the most girly girl I've ever know and she will adore your gifts. In fact I want the dress in my size! I know the dog will be spending a cosy night in her bed tomorrow! Thank you also for thinking of me, I feel very selfishly excited about having my own gift under the tree.

Honestly thank you so much. I'm sorry I couldn't get online earlier to thank you! I feel very grateful and humbled by the kindness shown by strangers through the MN Xmas appeal. Last week I was thankful that my dcs had new pjs and pants to unwrap, thanks to the kindness of others they will now have toys and clothes to be excited over too.

The donors have done a wonderful job to get things to people so quickly and I'd also like to thank Norma for taking such a massive job on and sticking with it through what has been a very stressful time to help families like mine out.

so glad the things got there safe and sound.

So glad you've already enjoyed the finger painting, it looked like quite a cute gift. I hope the DVD's are ok, bit of a cop out but I couldn't find much else!

Fi we have just torn open the box which ds has been oggling and it is full of fabulously wrapped gifts. I am going to save them until tonight when we get back from Xmas day at a friend's house (had to cancel trip away to Yorkshire all over the Xmas period because of the weather) so will drop another line later.

Your box has practically doubled the number of pressies DS has to open. I cannot thankyou enough.

It is like having several other people in the room with us (there is only ds and I) having such thoughts and kindness directed our way.

oh wow amazonian glad you've my parcel too i'd wrapped everything up in the purple paper before I knew I was supposed to have left things un-wrapped and include paper.. this being our 1st MN appeal year. So i am your santa09308 after all! I hope you both had a wonderful day.

we're currently trying to get a v overtired and excited 3.5yr ds and 7m dd to sleep.. it's been a long fun packed day.. dd & I started the day at 6.30am! i'm so ready to put my feet up

has parcel 09316 been received anywhere? it was sent on the same day on another one that has been received so am a bit worried!

The clothes are lovely. Ds2 has a few pairs of dungerees so he can show off his funky striped vests. Also very handy in that I can continue to use t-shirts and things over the long sleeves.
They both loved the things in there. Dp was impressed with the dvd set and I think we'll put it on tomorrow evening.
Ds1 is obsessed with stickers atm, so loved the crayola set.
The gloves are lovely and I'm tucking in to the champagne truffles now
We have had a lovely day.

LTH - mine neither but I have got a tracking number and it now says it has been recieved (on Monday), and I think it is the right first name (or very similar anyway) so I am less concerned now. The receivers may not have internet access over the holiday period perhaps.
