Welcome to the 2009 MN Christmas Appeal Thankyou Thread

First of all thank you very much to my good friend NormaStanlelFletcher for organising the whole thing

Each mumsnetter that receives a parcel will see a number printed on it.

When adding to this thread could you all please mention the number so that the sender knows for definite it was their parcel.

Thank to MNHQ for helping norma with this mammoth task.

I just want to say a big thankyou!!

I forgot to look out for a ref number, but received a little christmas cake (yum yum) and a lovely shower gift set which smells amazing!

I also recieved 4 little candles in a cute little holder and even a beautiful waaterproof coat for my dd.

I am so so grateful for these presents and helped me feel the christmassy spirit that i had long given up on.

So thankyou to my secret santas and a giant thankyou/pat on the back to Norma, this was a huge task to take on and you pulled it off brilliantly so well done you.

I trully hope the pressies were okay.
The wonderful Norma only matched us up on Wednesday I think, and I was DESPERATE to make sure you had something in time for Xmas, so it was a rush to find those still offering delivery.

Just to report back that the gifts went down a storm with my Dc's Dd said 'I love it' most especially to her fairy 'chiwawwa'(tiara)and wand and Ds's reaction to the books was YESSSSS!!!!, SO THANK YOU very much indeed F. I too will look forward to finding a treat for myself when I get into town.

Glad some of this has gone right, sorry about the bits that have gone wrong

If anyone is concerned about their whether their package got there, then drop me a mail. I will be on the road tomorrow for much of the day, but can, at some point, try to contact recipients to make sure they have received what you sent.

Just coming on to give a huge and belated THANKS to whoever sent us the lovely gifts. They are so fab I think you know my children better than I do!
The boys loved their toys the lego was fab and the meccano just right, (they both yelled 'oh just what I wanted' when they unwrapped) we shall enjoy spending the vouchers, I will get some things for when dd comes out of hospital.

I'm sorry I didn't get to thankyou before Christmas still spending most of the time at the hospital.

We have had a more s&^t time than you can imagine recently and your box was about the only thing that has made me smile since dd was born

Santa09388 - DH and I are so glad that your boys liked the toys (we do have lots of nephews, who inspired the choices ).

Your post has bought a tear to our eyes. We didn't know how old your DD was, or her circumstances, hence the vouchers and slightly random gifts for her. Sorry there wasn't anything for your DH, either. I suppose you could share the chocs, if you wanted.

There should have been the reference number on the messages.

If you have 2dd's and 2ds's and received a book, puzzle and 2 craft sets then it was indeed from me and I can only say that I'm overjoyed the hear that it ha all arived safely.

I'm glad they were suitable and hope that your dc enjoy them.

to 09995 Thank you for the little girls jeans and Fifi TV toy . They arrived this morning, DD has to grow into the jeans but they will be perfect for the summer.

Obviously missed something somewhere, fairly new to MN but wish I'd been involved in cheering up someones Xmas this year. Please can you tell me what to look out for next year do I can join in...

DD is over the moon with pom and lala and the clothes for ds are lovely, and the socks will most defiantly come in handy!!!

Thank you very much for the fabulous KerPlunk game . I had this as a child and can't wait to beat play with the kids.

Thank you also for the gift wrap, ribbon and card and stop worrying about it being "puny", it is so lovely to receive something in the post that is a surprise.

norma I don't know if you have checked your emails but there is still no post to say my parcel has arrived. Dh sent it through his works courier and I am getting pretty fed up about it not arriving.

Just want to say a big big thankyou to the lovely person to send my dd's some presents.

Couldnt see a ref number but the came in 2 large m+s boxes which got my soon to be 3 year old very excited. As soon as she saw the little baby doll she was in heaven and even insisted on the baby going to bed with her last night! And she has already been having a go at the colouring/sticker book.She is a very very happy little girl!
The little elephant is lovely. My youngest is 6months and trying her hardest to move around so love that the elephant is on wheels as gives her the motivation to try and go after it.

Thankyou so much for your gifts. I didn't think anymore would arrive esp after christmas so such a wonderful suprise. When I saw the boxes I told Mr postman they couldnt be for here!

Thankyou so much again. And I aso want to say thankyou again to the donors who sent presents before christmas too. My little girls and I are very grateful.
