Each mumsnetter that receives a parcel will see a number printed on it.

When adding to this thread could you all please mention the number so that the sender knows for definite it was their parcel.

ref 1002- Thank you, DH collected the parcel last night from the sorting office. I am truely overwhelmed

Also must thank Mejon, who has just met me at Morrisons with a bag of gorgeous clothes and shoes for dd (and an orchid for me which i will try my hardest to keep alive )

Reallywoundup, quick question for you and any others on here who may have come across this.

I sent off a parcel and tried tracking it tonight, says they tried to deliver today but left a "while you were out" card for the recipient to collect at sorting office.

Problem is it is addressed to "the mnetter of the house".

How can they prove its for them or would proof of address be enough?

it should be fine with some explanation- but if not you can just re-arrange delivery back to the house iyswim- doesn't matter who signs for it at the delivery address. hth x

Thankyou so so so much, the postie had tried to deliver yesterday but i was out, so i collected the parcel today. I am totally overwhelmed - really.

All the items are perfect! ds loves the pirate and the football set ...well all of it!, and dd adores everything you sent for her, she squealed with delight at the fairy mobile with torch and it was so thoughtful of you to even include batteries.

Thankyou also the the voucher for Sainsburys for me i really am lost for words (a definate first for me) and i just cannot say thankyou enough, i am totally gobsmacked.
