Welcome to the 2009 MN Christmas Appeal Thankyou Thread

First of all thank you very much to my good friend NormaStanlelFletcher for organising the whole thing

Each mumsnetter that receives a parcel will see a number printed on it.

When adding to this thread could you all please mention the number so that the sender knows for definite it was their parcel.

Thank to MNHQ for helping norma with this mammoth task.

glad to know it got there safely.

there were actually a few other bits i wanted to get but it came down to a choice between sending it before last posting date to england or getting the other stuff and possibly not having it there in time.

hope you don't mind too much about the make up bits...

my own 3 year old picked the bee and he's delighted to hear it got there safely.

Post lady arrived this morning with my box of goodies and I am overwhelmed. It's so thoughtful of you and I really want to send you a massive thank you and the very best of wishes. Go on, out yourself and we can keep in touch!

Ref: 09163 Thank you so so much. The doorbell went at 7am this morning. The items are so lovely and there's so much I don't know how to begin to thank you. The coat is so thick and you are right dd will grow into it. The hat and gloves are also very very gratefully received and all in a girls favourite colour!

The dresses are so so gorgeous and will get lots of wear and there was so much still left in the box, the mini tea set will be a particular hit, I've never seen one before, my dds love disney princesses and the chocolate and the waterbottle and the socks and the soft toy will all be loved too. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I was really not expecting to be nominated. Life has been fairly bleak and I was not looking forward to Christmas much, but you have put a massive smile on my face. I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas.

thank you seems so much of an understatement. I was trying to figure out how to afford to get a nice dress for each of them for the big day, and in the end, it came down to a choice of either getting a new dress, or putting the heating on (i have a prepayment meter). So, now i can have both

Your parcle arrived this morning. Im lost for words at your genorisity. Really, thank you so so much. My DD will love what you have chosen for her and i cant believe there are gifts for me too, dont worry i wont open them before christmas day as they are the only ones ive got! I actually dont know how to express how i feel, but thank you so much and wishing you and your family a very merry christmas.

I missed the delivery this morning so went to collect at post office. I couldn't believe it when i saw it was a MN secret santa. I was close to tears in there. Thank you so much for the present. I will look forward to using it.

i was really touched, couldn't believe people had thought of me. Even nicer as ive not been very festive at all its got me feeling a bit christmassy. Which i didnt think would happen at all this year so thats a gift in itself.
