First of all thank you very much to my good friend NormaStanlelFletcher for organising the whole thing

Each mumsnetter that receives a parcel will see a number printed on it.

When adding to this thread could you all please mention the number so that the sender knows for definite it was their parcel.

Thank to MNHQ for helping norma with this mammoth task.

I feel a bit awkward writing this. I was told I was nominated for this tonight by a lovely mnter but I have not recieved anything. If something was sent by someone I didn't want them to think that I am so ungrateful as to not say how appreciative I am or to say thankyou (if this makes sense).

Poor Norma has done a fantastic job but it seems that the sheer size and logistics of the appeal along with unexpected rl demands mean that some of the matches came after christms so there are still donations going out.

Ahh, I'm even more now. I had visions of a mnter thinking I was an ungrateful cow that couldn't even be bothered to say thankyou.

Poor Norma. I take my hat off to you for doing the appeal this year

I'm still sitting with a santa sack full of stuff waiting for a match fluffy.

The stuff has travelled all over the country with me in case I was matched while away over the festive season and now its back at its usual place.

I shall appreciate the gift fully in a few weeks time when i am fully healed (recent surgery!) But i am very grateful to you and whoever nominated me.

I am vowing to put away one or two pounds a week so that come next christmas I can help another family to feel the spirit of christmas too

Recieved a parcel today, not sure who from but it was some fairy wings, angelina book and a cute bag for my dd.

Thankyou so so so much, dd will be thrilled when she gets in from school! a lovely surprise.

I have to say I am feeling a bit that my parcel has been confirmed as delivered on Christmas Eve but no one has posted to say if they like it or not.

I just went to collect a parcel ref 09130 and opened it to much wailing of delight from DS!

He says "did they know it was my favourite? It is, mummy - I LOVE it!"

PS sorry for the delay; today was the first time I could get to the depot

Mine hasnt been 'thanked for' as well - which kind of takes the shine off the lovely feeling I had when I posted my parcel.

I have emailed Fletch to see if she knows whether it has been received or not. Just hoping it was someone who only has infrequent internet use and is maybe not back at work or library yet.
