I think I always (or nearly always!) call the one with Black Friday this name. I'm assuming this thread will see us through the weekend and I'm not premature!!! Make sure you keep your Black Friday bargains genuine bargains - not everything that looks reduced actually is as good a deal as it looks.

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

Most people I see have paper printouts, some have wristbands or keyring tags. I think you can use a mobile barcode now (it didn't used to be possible), but not everybody runs with a phone.

I always used a paper one until I got my wristband, but the wristband is much less of a faff.

DH potentially has a new job (finds out today). If he does, I'm thinking of getting him something to help with his new job such as electric razor, travel mug, new tie or backpack. Anyone know of any offers around these things?

Also what aftershave is in fashion with teen boys nowadays?

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams thank you SO much. I didn’t even know this was a thing, my DP does park run every and carries a little printed barcode in his pocket. I’ve just been on the results and got his ID number. The quarter zip was sold out in his size but I got him a top and this will go perfect with the £1 runner world subscription I got him. So thank you!

My daughter wants the same in the cream/black - at £90 I’m holding out for a discount code! If i see one and it has an 8 in grey i’ll let you know.
