Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

Yes I saw a few designs in TK Maxx last week.

@Didyeaye , I use Olaplex No 6 on my fine, straight natural-coloured hair and it’s good. However, so is L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oils Conditioner, which is usually on offer somewhere. I paid £2 for a 300ml bottle and it’s currently £2:50 for a 250ml bottle at Asda. I use Olaplex when I haven’t had time to put rinse-out conditioner on my hair after washing it.

I’ve seen many varieties of Olaplex on sale in the black hair shop, when I collect my occasional UPS deliveries. They don’t sell many different brands of shampoo/conditioner, which gives me the impression that it’s especially good for curly black hair.

@Lidlisthebusiness @christmaspudding43 @BourbonsAreOverated Just to clarify, HB do a dupe version of Hi Smile, but they also have the actual Hi Smile toothpaste as well (need to be careful as packaging is identical!). I got some last weekend, the peach flavour but they do other flavours as well. I believe you can get them on the HB website as well
