White Fox refund

blackfluffycat · 14/11/2023 09:59

I could cry.

Dd asked for a WF hoody. I thought I'd check the prices for2 for both dds.

I put two into my basket to check the price without the discount (no idea why) and I stupidly pressed shop pay to check forgetting / not realising I didn't need to add my card details. I assumed once I got to that bit I would just not put them in.

I've paid for two at £50 each. If I genuinely meant to purchase them I would have used the discount.

They won't refund as they said I agreed to the terms and conditions and I can't afford to loose £100 and I don't want store credit!!!

My fault entirely but I've cancelled items before with retailers before they have dispatched.

I ordered Friday and emailed immediately and it's not been processed yet so I don't know why they can't refund.

I'm an absolute nob head. That's more than I have left for food all week!!!

Does this mean we pay even more 😣😣

I could be wrong but I don't think you do in the UK?
I'm not in the UK & my first 3 orders I made successfully (before the last 2 order disasters from start Nov) when I received those first orders yes I had to pay customs. But I'm Europe not UK.
Could anyone whose received an order in the UK enlighten?

blackfluffycat · 04/12/2023 07:39

Yes I know I saw them too after I went digging when they sent my orders to the wrong country & blocked me from asking about them on Instagram 🙈
Seems whoever is running the socials etc is highly immature.

BurntOrangeAutumn · 04/12/2023 07:47

Probably the same "team" leaving themselves 5* reviews.

blackfluffycat · 04/12/2023 09:55

How can trust pilot allow it.

Yes lots of recent bad reviews

If they are selling to the UK via their UK site, then White Fox has to comply to the UK Law.

Ask your credit card company for a chargeback or if it's over £100 then it's section 75

Their Terms and Conditions do not trump your Consumer Rights

Mrsfussypants1 · 04/12/2023 13:05

Anyone had an order come via Evri? All the posts seem to show Royal mail delivery. Apparently mine made it to international transit on the 28th and that's where tracking has stopped. Evri showing expecting it since 28th.

I don't have a CC unfortunately. This makes it worse as I've spent £100 I didn't mean too and needed.

If they can't handle the amount of orders I bet loads would want a refund. Myself included.

@blackfluffycat Can u get a refund or open a dispute through your bank? It might be worth popping into your local branch to see what they say. I'm giving my order until the 12th, if I have no order or any reply from WF by then I'm opening a dispute through PayPal.

blackfluffycat · 06/12/2023 00:16

The I tried opening a case either my bank. They asked for the companies refund policy. Which I didn't think to read.

I’m in Australia, White Fox are notoriously shit to deal with. Not only that but they are a blatant rip off of Mr Winston, a small high quality Aussie brand who are an absolute delight to deal with. It is a long time since I specialised in consumer law but would imagine that if you bought from the Australian site Australian rules apply (not that I think their t&cs are totally legal here either!).

blackfluffycat · 06/12/2023 06:25

Oh really? Are they not popular in Australia?

I had no clue where they were based. Especially when it said 3-5 days delivery.

The info below seems to me that once they post it they have their job. Technically yes but if it doesn't arrive and you can't re order for Christmas they must have to refund??

Unfortunately, once an order is dispatched from our warehouse, we have no control over delays within the postal network.

Also they seem to contradict themselves....,

Please know that your order is on its way to you and we are doing everything in our power to ensure it is delivered ASAP.

I'm keeping a list of all the correspondence now.

Monday 2 December - I emailed asking if I will receive my order before Christmas - i received an automated reply...

"Thanks for reaching out.

Please allow additional business days for a response from one of our customer service representatives, we are currently experiencing a high volume period.

Our White Fox team are working super hard to get your order out as soon as possible.

Please note: shipping timeframes do not take into account dispatch timeframes.

Sending multiple emails will cause your enquiry to lose its position within the queue and may result in a delayed response.

We have received your email & will get back to you soon.

In the meantime please see some information below for some frequently asked questions;

When will my order be dispatched:

Due to the high volume of orders, there is a delay in dispatch, we do apologise for this inconvenience. We thank you for your support over our Black Friday sale. We have allocated extra resources to our warehouse and have extended our business days to ensure we get orders out as soon as possible."

But I ordered BEFORE the BF sale.

Wednesday 6 December - I send a message online chat Bot. I asked the same question above.

I recieved an automated reply via email.

"Please note our office hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm AEST

Thanks for reaching out.

Please allow additional business days for a response from one of our customer service representatives.

We are currently experiencing a high volume period. Our White Fox team are working super hard to get your order out as soon as possible.

Then a couple of minutes later....

"Hello,

Thanks for reaching out, our team will get back to you soon regarding the following request."

Followed by my online chat message.

Surely they can't be allowed to do this.

Just as a worse case scenario if they were taken to court or went bust etc then we wouldn't be able to get our money back and the credit notes would be useless. Is that correct?

Yes that's correct. Have you had any update on dispatch/shipping on yours yet?
I'm still awaiting the outcome of my PayPal cases on them.

blackfluffycat · 07/12/2023 07:16

Hi I emailed Monday, they replied today at 1am with the tracking number which I have already.

It's not got to customs yet so the Royal Mail tracking number is irrelevant and just gives false hope really.

I so need that money and wanted to try sell before Christmas to buy my daughters other things. And me now wants a juicy couture tracksuit 😞😞

I feel for you and others. They should have stopped taking orders when they realised how busy they were after BL and put everyone onto getting those ready.

How frustrating is it receiving all these sale emails when they can't cope with orders they have??

OP posts:

Any update?

OP posts:
blackfluffycat · 08/12/2023 01:02

2 Dec I received a dispatch email from WF. It said the parcel is being delivered by "Seko."

I clicked on tracking number and it took me to a site called "Starshipit."

Again I click the tracking number and it took me to "Omniparcel" now there are 7 delivery steps. Step 1 and 2 are ticked. Step 3 is arrived at customs.

Today is 8 Dec and this has not changed since 2 Dec.

If I use the "Shop" app it says "UK shipping 3-5 business days with Royal Mail /"- Waiting For Details”

So I click on the tracking number again and it takes me to the Royal Mail site with a message "Sorry, we're currently unable to confirm the status of your item with reference XXXXXXXXX Please try again tomorrow".

They think they can fob us off with a Royal Mail tracking number so we assume it's on its way but it's not even gone through customs. It might still be in Australia at this point Royal Mail are irrelevant.

I've literally been doing all of the above since Saturday all day and it's driving me mad. I've no idea who is delivering it.

Victory!
PayPal have just closed both cases I had open on White Fox in my favour!
They never communicated with me to explain why they sent both my parcels to the wrong country, not even through PayPal, and never communicated with PayPal once I escalated (I did this a day after opening the cases).
They are absolutely wankers, they knew they fucked up my orders but didn't even have the class to hit refund on the orders ... they waited until PayPal forced them to refund.
Absolutely disgusted with White Fox & their greed.
If I hadn't of paid with PayPal they would have kept my money & the goods (which were suspiciously delivered to Rosebury, NSW which is where their HQ is).
Thank God for PayPal!
(Reposting this I just posted it on the other White Fox thread incase anyone is not following that)

blackfluffycat · 08/12/2023 12:40

Oh thank god. Have you told your daughter / gf that they haven't arrived. It's great you have your money but now you are back to square 1. I reckon you still need compensating somehow but obviously that won't happen.

What a relief. I paid using my debit card.
