White Fox refund

I could cry.

Dd asked for a WF hoody. I thought I'd check the prices for2 for both dds.

I put two into my basket to check the price without the discount (no idea why) and I stupidly pressed shop pay to check forgetting / not realising I didn't need to add my card details. I assumed once I got to that bit I would just not put them in.

I've paid for two at £50 each. If I genuinely meant to purchase them I would have used the discount.

They won't refund as they said I agreed to the terms and conditions and I can't afford to loose £100 and I don't want store credit!!!

My fault entirely but I've cancelled items before with retailers before they have dispatched.

I ordered Friday and emailed immediately and it's not been processed yet so I don't know why they can't refund.

I'm an absolute nob head. That's more than I have left for food all week!!!

I wonder why people aren't ordering cheaper directly from them?

I guess because they won't get it in time for Christmas now? So there's a demand for before Christmas, I doubt they'll go this high after

Rezola · 02/12/2023 00:00

Because people ( like me) got a Xmas list from their daughter recently and have discovered that all s/xs sizes are out of stock and there is no chance of getting one before Xmas! I have just checked eBay and I think you could get £100+ for each jumper!

blackfluffycat · 02/12/2023 01:20

Mine aren't the hoodie type though. I reckon most will want those??

I can't even put them on eBay. It's been 22 days since I ordered.

I don't see why not the sweaters are very popular too.
I'm hoping you get them before Christmas & get to ebay them so the story has a happy ending 🤞

PenelopePlant · 02/12/2023 07:03

I'm having a mare with this company. I sent a return weeks ago.

After lots of emails to them they finally sent me a credit not yesterday, for $29.95aud.
I spent $79.95 on the hoodie and was expecting the credit note to be minus $14.95aud postage, but they've short changed me $35aud.

I just want to order another hoodie and be done with this crap company. Ironically my daughter doesn't even care for them anymore!

TheSilkLady · 02/12/2023 07:16

No the op was signed into her shop pay account so when she clicked pay it just paid no code needed

I'm actually having a nightmare with them too. It's a long story. Made a bunch of success orders in the past non sale time, very happy with the clothes etc. Made 2 orders start of November in a 40 percent off sale on a few things, not black Friday.
They shipped both my orders to an Australian address on the same day (I live in Europe). They have been uncontactable, completely ignored me, blocked me from commenting on Instagram when I asked about my order & deleted my comment.
So I am now having to go through PayPal to try get my money back.
I saw other people saying on insta that they do not give refunds even when theyre in the wrong only store credit.
Also saw on insta others commenting the exact same issue as me that their order was shipped to the wrong country.
So in short I am never ordering from them again when in the past I was really happy with them...absolutely terrible customer services & totally immature (blocking people from asking about their orders on socials).
I am down almost €200, not happy.

If you went through PayPal maybe put in a claim?

fourelementary · 02/12/2023 07:42

They really do have shockingly bad customer service and I wish I’d known that prior to ordering from them.

TheGirlWhoLived · 02/12/2023 08:10

I’d maybe even forgo eBay and sell them locally on gumtree or Facebook marketplace. Actual whitefox sweatshirts in the uk? You will make £10-£20 per jumper on top of the £50 paid! Don’t fret OP

TheGirlWhoLived · 02/12/2023 08:10

Every teen/tween I know wants white fox this year. People will honestly travel cash in hand to get yours

TheGirlWhoLived · 02/12/2023 08:12

In fact if you are midlands based, I’ll give you £100 for them!

Everything is out of stock so you can't order any. I was looking at getting one for my DD but didn't bother in the end. You'll be able to re-sell them as they are still in demand as you can't get them from the company.

PenelopePlant · 02/12/2023 08:45

@BurntOrangeAutumn

It's terrible isn't it.

Luckily this wasn't a Xmas gift. I can't believe it's store credit only, I wish I'd have known.

I've never had problems before so naively just assumed this company would be fine, lesson learned though.

If you really don't want to gift them then as soon as they arrive put them on any selling site, Facebook market place, Gumtree, Shpock etc for £60 each, and ask for cash on collection.

You really won't have to wait long before someone takes them off your hands, there will be a queue down the street as people are desperate to get them before Christmas.

What justification did they give you for only refunding you 35 dollars not the whole amount?
Did you pay with PayPal?
I'm going through PayPal now they have another week to respond to the PayPal case as I escalated it (because they were ignoring).
If you paid with PayPal maybe you should open a case, screenshot any communication with them & screenshot the refund they gave you, send it in as evidence. They need to refund you or credit you the full amount you paid.
I'm praying PayPal will sort this for me because it's clear on the tracking they sent my 2 parcels to NSW Australia not to my country that I paid for international shipping to ...
Mine were Christmas gifts too. I do already have 2 tracksuits as Christmas gifts for 2 daughters but these were gifts for daughter 3 & one daughters girlfriend.
It seems they are fine normally with shipping etc but they can't handle the sales they keep pushing all over social media & everything becomes a shitshow 🙈
I would have been happy for them to reship my orders to me, I would have rathered that than me having to fight for a refund, but their lack of communication & blocking me from commenting on social media really made me see red. Never again! A shambles of a company in the sales.

BurntOrangeAutumn · 02/12/2023 09:18

I actually thinking looking at the tracking on my 2 orders that they were returned to White Fox - tracking says Rosebury NSW delivered & this is where the White Fox HQ is. I've also seen a bunch of people commenting that their orders were returned. Perhaps they put the incorrect info on for customs or something.
In which case if my orders were returned it wouldn't have been a massive deal for them to reship as they had them back?
Instead of ignoring their customers & trying to keep their money & the goods they ordered.

BurntOrangeAutumn · 02/12/2023 09:19

They give me the rage just thinking about it 🤣☠

blackfluffycat · 02/12/2023 11:03

I don't want to ask my daughters if they definitely want them as.....

1 I've gone way over budget on both of them (plus I've used store cards, Klarna etc)

2 I could do with the money

3 They might not arrive until after Christmas

However if all of their friends have them and I went through all of this and had sold them on I'd feel silly 😂

Dd11 hasn't asked for one. (I didn't even mean to buy 2 but put 2 in my basket as I never do one without that other). 😂

They keep sending me generated emails asking how they did. I darent reply until I have them!!!

Now I've noticed I have £30 store credit. I'm so confused. I'll have to do another order to get the £30 😥😥

Their no refund policy is so daft.
All of the people on eBay are making £50-£70 profit now!!!

Who the hell put them on Tik Tok to start with?

These fads are frustrating. DDs want Drunk Elephant. They've settled with Bubble but that's still more than I'd pay for skincare at their age!!!

I wonder if they put any old hoody in a bag with your tracking number but their address.

They might hope it stalls the customers for a while or maybe they are doing this so when you complain they give you store credit and hope after Christmas you won't use it!!!

According to the tracking Royal Mail have been expecting it since 21 November.

They have given it a tracking number but who knows if they have even sent them.

I have no idea what they're at, the fact that they wouldn't made contact with me is a huge red flag, I waited over a week for them to reply to me before I went to PayPal.
The fact that they've given you a storr credit does that mean they've only dispatched one top then? Do you have tracking yet?

blackfluffycat · 04/12/2023 06:42

Does this mean we pay even more 😣😣
