Are Evri trying to ruin Christmas

Slightly OTT (and lighthearted) but I wish online retailers would stop using this company. I have seven orders with various companies and all the deliveries are delayed. Some over two weeks late so likely I’m going to have my order cancelled.

Why why why are they still in business? Where do the missing packages go?

Amazon royal mail are sh1t scared of losing this account, they'll choose them over every other supplier. I ordered on a strike day still got package following day

Evri in my area n Wales are fantastic. It's a regional problem I suspect.

Mine are from Horze (who have refused a refund and are insisting that I just have to wait even though last update from Evri as on 7th December).

The other four retailers have all cancelled and refunded so there is a known issue with Evri depots at the moment.

Update my leggings finally arrived yesterday (where posted with EVRi on 28th).

However I have been waiting for one of DS bigger gifts, its a week past the time it should have been here so I message the seller only to find he decided to send it via EVRi to avoid the Royal Mail stike and it too is lost in the warehouse somewhere too.

1 step forward, 1 step back.

I am still waiting on four deliveries but all quite recently ordered. Have been much more impressed by parcel deliveries than cards/letters!

Evri and Royal Mail are great around here, DPD less so and Yodel is awful. Thankfully not had anyone using Parcelforce this year but he was awful, didn't bother to attempt to deliver just used to drop them at the newsagents in the next village stating nobody home.

Evri have successfully delivered all my gifts now I think.

Still waiting on 2 from royal mail but one is at my 'local' (a bloody town away so hour round trip) depo and I can go 'collect it'.

God knows where the other one is, the seller says there no tracking.

Evri delivered my Lakeland parcel very quickly and my parcel last week

Reporting 100% success rate with delivery of Christmas orders here. The one sent by RM did take a while but arrived safely yesterday. Our Evri delivery guy is super reliable.

I received my final parcel on Wednesday. Embroidered personalised blanket, ordered from Etsy on Saturday, delivered by Evri, thought that was good going.

Royal mail - I received an eBay item with estimated delivery 30th December on 22nd. We had 2 separate royal mail deliveries on that day too so I think they've managed the strike pretty well.

I ordered something Weds and it was delivered by Evri Thursday, could not believe it was that quick!

The arseholes have had a few parcels since 27 November.

Their tracking is useless, Their point of contact is non-existent.

I will be making a list of retailers that use them and will be avoiding them.

I’m really rather grumpy at the moment. Thought I was being organised by ordering a fair way in advance, but now getting that my stuff is probably at the bottom of the pile of a huge backlog.

Our Evri driver is amazing. He’s like a traditional postie in that he’s on first names terms with everyone round here, always stops for a quick chat, and when someone posted on the local Facebook group about a missing parcel - he was quick to respond and go out of his way to help locate it.

Our Evri delivery guy is great. Unfortunately , the parcel that got deposited about twenty miles from me on 1st December is still at the deposit centre. The sender wasn't able to get it back, and they won't let me collect, but it's obviously going to spend Christmas sat at the store it was dropped to, 24 days earlier!

We have had no problems with RM. Our regular postman is lovely and well deserving of the £10 tip in his card.

I prefer deliveries by RM than Evri and Yodel by far. I know our postman would never put something in our bin
