Are Evri trying to ruin Christmas

Slightly OTT (and lighthearted) but I wish online retailers would stop using this company. I have seven orders with various companies and all the deliveries are delayed. Some over two weeks late so likely I’m going to have my order cancelled.

Why why why are they still in business? Where do the missing packages go?

I'm having disputes with Evri at the moment, the bloke left my parcel on the doorstep in the pouring rain while he went and got a empty box to put in my letterbox for the safely delivered photo. My cctv got him doing that so I complained as my parcel was soaked. So the next parcel he held onto for 5 days, which was clearly marked that it was from Disney store, he took photos of my house for delivery attempted for a few days without getting out the van, caught on cctv also. When he did deliver it, I opened it and he had urinated inside it!!!!! 😡😡😡 it was a soft toy for a little girl as well 😡😡 complained about that, he has now stollen a £90 superdry jacket, which he refused to deliver as well, and then suddenly came back as being returned to sender but its not got back to superdry for that's for sure!!! !! I’ve driven round my estate looking for him, not found him yet

They employ real scummers. And even the ones who are halfway decent are so (understandably) angry with the disgraceful pittance they get paid that they rob all the parcels they can get away with, as I reckon they feel it’s owed to them.

Evri are brilliant around me. In fact, I ordered some boots for my little girl at 11pm last night, was delivered by 11am this morning!

It really is a luck of the draw. Our Evri lady s fantastic and we tip her every Christmas as a thank you 🙂 Same with our DPD man.

My least favourite are Yodel and Royal Mail.

Evri claimed to have delivered to me and posted a picture of my front window without the parcel in question. Unfortunately for them my cat was sat on the window in the picture and he had died several weeks ago. They had taken a picture off Google!

Best me has been Royal Mail closely followed by DPD. Evri have lost a few of my parcels

Our Evri delivery man is great. Royal Mail never deliver my contact lenses by posting them through the letter box despite the fact that they are packaged to fit through. Arranged a redelivery because they decided they wouldn't fit through the letter box, only for the postie to then put them through the letter box on the second attempt 😑

Definitely think it just depends on a good delivery person

I just checked my parcel in EVRi limbo and the lying bastards have now changed it from 'waiting at the depo' to 'delivered on Nov 29th'... it bloody wasn't.

Impressive they could somehow deliver it on the November 29th (the day they recieved it) when it was still tacking as at the overstocked depo yesterday.

I would assume this mean EVRi has successfully invented a time machine but if that was indead the case then surely my ass would be being cradle by my awesome new leggings that I ordered right now and yet alas they are not.

More than likely they have just stolen or ditched my package elsewhere and now I need to figure out a refund, luckily I had already message the company to say that it hadn't arrived (it was next day delivery on the 28th) and they also checked the tracking just 2 days ago and saw it was at the depo so they should know Im not lying and that EVRi is.

Our Evri guy is great! He arrived whilst I was reading this, funnily enough. Always on time or early. Always uses our stated safe place if no answer. Always friendly. Same with DPD. Our DPD guy is lovely & jolly. Always cheerful. The Postie is usually great too although you can certainly tell when he’s in a bad mood…

Just ordered two jumpers off Amazon and to my horror received an email from Evri saying they 'were awaiting my parcel' . Keeping fingers crossed!!

My Evri deliveries are awesome!! The same guys delivers to me every day. Everything arrives quickly and the QR scan for return labels at their parcel shops is fantastic.

Hate Royal Mail, who have 4 of my parcels stuck somewhere whilst their workers fanny about Westminster. By stuffing up everyone’s Christmas, they’ll get used even less in future.

Our DPD guy is awesome too!! And I really like our postman who has been on the same route for 20 years. So even though I hate RM, I always like our actual postman and give him a big tip at Christmas

Had two parcels delivered by Evri this week that I only ordered last Saturday.

But still awaiting an order from Mewaii (anyone? ) ordered on 25 November and promised "delivery in 10 days". Checked the tracking today (2 weeks later) which said Evri has your package Evri's tracking says received 8 December and returned to sender - no mention of any attempted delivery. Evri help chat automated and useless. Have emailed Mewaii asking why on earth it is being returned without delivery. But looks like I'll have to buy replacement presents and try for a refund.

Address is clear and not hard to find and correct on tracking. Delivery paid in full. Any ideas???

I've just been thinking about this what with the postal strikes etc. I'm not ordering anything else online now it will have to be in person shopping.
MIL's bday present still not arrived 2 weeks now.

Usually evri are really good here. Not at the moment. I’m waiting on winter boots for DD who has freezing feet poor kid. Evri reported to the retailer that they have delivered and have emailed me twice saying they tried to deliver past 9pm (they didn’t, we were up and in the room next to the door both times).
I’m off to the shops to buy the boots today.

wish they would just be clear about when/if they are actually going up deliver!

in my area Evri is very good, they even send email with 2hour delivery slot.

My Evri guy is great! Very reliable and helpful. The only time items were late in the year was a couple of days he was unwell. Think it all depends who they have working for them locally.

Isn’t it weird how different people have different experiences. I’ve never had a problem with Evri, sending or delivering and that includes when I lived in a different area. DPD on the other had, well I’ve never had a good delivery from them (if the delivery arrives at all) and I don’t know how the post office have the nerve to strike - who’s going to notice the difference in their service.

Snap x 3. Tracking on all 3 showed as 'delayed' for 3 weeks and are now suddenly claiming to have been delivered 2 days after being ordered. One of the companies with a missing order has been less than helpful, so I have resorted to a Paypal dispute. I'm looking at you, Aveda.

Our local Evri delivery people are really good, but something went pop in the depot around Black Friday.

I've learned that if Evri give an estimated time of after 3pm, to just expect it the following day. Usually works out well! Although there was one time they emailed at 11:40 that they'd successfully delivered my parcel at 12:15 Hmm

Yodel seem vastly improved recently, the last two orders they've delivered have been both on time and undamaged! Unheard of a year ago.

DPD always my favourite, we always seem to get an early slot and have never had them be late so no hanging around all day.

our local evri has posted on Facebook that they are 3 weeks behind. I ordered something yesterday and checked it wasn’t evri as it was a Christmas pressie,
