Are Evri trying to ruin Christmas

Slightly OTT (and lighthearted) but I wish online retailers would stop using this company. I have seven orders with various companies and all the deliveries are delayed. Some over two weeks late so likely I’m going to have my order cancelled.

Why why why are they still in business? Where do the missing packages go?

DPD are great. Easy tracking in the app and easy to change delivery options as well.
Can easily plan my day around a DPD or Amazon delivery, anyone else is pot luck when it will arrive!

Evri are fucking horrific. You can't even contact a customer service rep.

They messaged me 2 weeks ago to say they couldn't find the delivery address, even though the address is clearly visible on google maps. Still haven't heard where the hell this parcel is. This parcel was sent back in November.

Fuck Evri! I wish companies would stop using them too.

Yodel are the best company!

I have never had a problem with EVRI. I would say XDP are the most appalling even worse than DPD.

Never heard of them and to me DPD are the holy grail. You get a time slot, then you get real time tracking with a nearly exact estimated time and number of drop offs ahead of you. No idea why evri need to be so vague (then lie about turning up)

Evri is fine around here. I leap for joy when it’s evri and not Yodel.

Thankfully yodel is rare as agree they are just as bad (if not worse as there is no option for near by pick up shop and you can't get them to leave it on your doorstep)

100% agree!! They’ve just lost a bike I had ordered for my son! Absolutely everything else I’ve ordered with other companies this Christmas has been fine, just Evri that are messing up my Christmas shopping! 😤

Local guy is good, he knows we have a back entrance on another street and delivers securely there. Work guy is terrible, looses more than get delivered!

No problem sending or receiving here via Evri, really great consistent courier. DPD are normally great too. Yodel is dire, dumps my parcels on the top of my drive - not my doorstep. UPS is awful too - always late. I now shop depending on delivery because I can be bothered chasing around for parcels.

Where I work we have deliveries for mailbox holders. Our regular Evri driver had over 300 parcels to deliver on Wednesday. Please don't blame the drivers - most of them are fantastic and trying their best.

I think delivery companies vary so much

We've had no problems with Evri so far this winter. Our delivery person is very consistent.

Our main problem delivery service here seems to be Royal Mail.

I’ve had one order ‘out for delivery’ since 25th November, another for the 1st December and the rest are still at the depot.

I would much prefer to buy in real life but many of the items are hobby specific or we don’t have a local stockiest.

Anyway, it feels good to vent. Come on Evri! If you’re reading this, send me my goods! 😬

I think we're really lucky because Evri in my area is generally pretty reliable and the usual guy is great too!

Never had issues with evri, actually the delivery guy for this area is super nice. We have more trouble here with yodel.

Rubbish here. Waited for a parcel last week that was delayed. Courier didn't knock on the door even though someone was clearly in. I watched this on my ring camera app. I then had to phone someone to get the parcel for me since they just left it on the steps. Useless.

At least they're working unlike royal mail going on strike every 5 seconds, its so selfish why can't they just wait until after Xmas !

My Evri parcel came slightly late but still the same day as I was told it would but they still sent me an email after it had been delivered to say sorry it was running late and it would now be delivered the next day
