DC2 (12) Lego. Always Lego.
DC3 (9) Football kit. Always football related and brush pens Grin

sadpapercourtesan · 25/12/2021 22:08

17yo - Armani watch
19yo - JBL speaker

Gone are they days when I could wrap up a giant inflatable crocodile and they'd be thrilled Xmas Grin

lucysmam · 25/12/2021 22:19

Laptops for both.

Budgeted & saved hard for, to update the ones we struggled through "home school" with. They've spent the day setting them up and Minecrafting mainly.

Flev · 25/12/2021 22:24

DD (3) spent literally hours galloping up and down with her new hobby horse. It was adorable to watch her excitement and amazement at having such a wonderful toy.

MrsFlump · 25/12/2021 22:25

DS (10) A small Squeakee interactive balloon dog, interactive baby yoda and an m&s percy pig cuddly.

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 25/12/2021 22:28

My 12 yr old DS - as per his request, an American waffle maker - he’s spent all day looking up recipes so he can make us all waffles for breakfast🤣

RosaBaby2 · 25/12/2021 22:31

3 year old - Paw Patrol Skyes helicopter the big one

14 year old - Swedish House Mafia tickets from his dad!

modge · 25/12/2021 22:39

3 year old - a magnifying glass. Every tree decoration has been inspected and Christmas Dinner was examined closely. Surprise win for a stocking present.

ladygindiva · 25/12/2021 22:39

The game " pull my finger" went down a storm with 5 yo dts. Also with me and their dad tbh 😂

CoodleMoodle · 25/12/2021 22:46

DD7: Scooter (big present) and Top Model drawing books. She also liked her drawing projector.

DS3: Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage (big present) and Duplo race cars and camper van.

Then as a shared present they got some wooden biscuits and doughnuts and had a great time offering them round and pretending to eat them. They also got one of those coin machines like you get in an arcade (mini, obviously) and played with that for ages.

Sodullincomparison · 25/12/2021 22:47

A box the frozen food was delivered in yesterday.

And a Peppa Pig watch from our neighbours.

So exactly nothing we bought, built or wrapped!

DockOTheBay · 25/12/2021 22:57

@MsSquiz

2 yea told DD loves her Melissa and Doug ice cream counter. We knew it would be a hit because she'd been in love with it at a play session we did, but she still has unopened presents because she'd rather play with that!
My two also loved theirs. The oldest is nearly 5 and the younger is nearly 2. They played with it loads all day.

Other hits were a scooter for the younger one and playdoh hairdressers for the older. She also told me her favourite presents were a squishmallow and a flump 🤣

SmellyNelliey · 25/12/2021 23:00

DD7 iphone and roller boots
DD5 barbie jeep & speed boat
DD3 paw patrol look out
DS nearly 2 nothing he's padded all day with terrible twos in full force 🙄

Timeisavirtue · 25/12/2021 23:02

For dd 9 it was her Lego sets and her new smiggle purse, she’s been banging on about it all day 😂

DS13 loved his gaming laptop, he also loved 2 of the stocking presents, a alton towers beer stein and a book about the history of Thorpe park.

Timeisavirtue · 25/12/2021 23:04

Also the massive bar of Cadbury’s (850g I believe) was a great hit with DS. So glad he liked it as he’s getting another one for his birthday in 11 days 😂

thismeansnothing · 25/12/2021 23:06

Youngest DD (2) was a foam light sabre stick thing that they use at toddler sense.

Eldest DD (9) a blush pink fleecie blanket/throw that I found in B&M

It really is the simple things 🤣

Our granddaughter (5 1/2)
Bean bag
Foam pogo stick thing, it has lights on the handle bars and squeaks with each hop, you can use it indoors. She's been flitting from hopping through the house to flopping on her bean bag.

Wowcherarestalkingme · 25/12/2021 23:22

DS5 the Thomas the Tank Engine Super Station. It. Is. Massive. It has taken up our entire playroom.
DS2 some baby shark bath toys.
Had such a lovely day with them both, love this age for Christmas.

MojoJojo71 · 25/12/2021 23:32

Kid’s kindle, she’s already downloaded all the Harry Potter books.

One of those godawful OMG dolls

KissKissButtCheek · 25/12/2021 23:53
