Harpydragon · 25/12/2021 17:17

17 year old DS, a Guy Martin bobble hat😍

Whitefire · 25/12/2021 17:22

@EsmeeMerlin

For ds8 a Star Wars Lego set. For ds3 these zombling buses that were 59p each from home bargains.
Ds13 was very pleased with his Home Bargain zombling bus too..

Dd15 was a long hot water bottle.

Dd9 a small teddy bear.

Bogiesaremyonlyfriend · 25/12/2021 17:26

Dd1 her new build a bear rabbit teddy to go with her other 2 so knew she would adore it. Dd1 I wasnt sure but she is over the moon her bean bag, friends lego and a random back scratcher that I put in her stocking, literally hasnt left her hands all day

PriamFarrl · 25/12/2021 17:30

Nothing to add but I was about to start the same thread as I love to hear what the surprise hits are.

FuzzyPenguin · 25/12/2021 17:37

A candy grabber machine, DS has been playing it on and off all day. Also my cards against humanity (family version)

Tiredalwaystired · 25/12/2021 17:38

We bought our kids a Nintendo switch but the biggest hit was a game called Tiny Hands where you stack cups while holding really…uh…tiny hands

jaundicedoutlook · 25/12/2021 17:43

Already regretting DD (8) hoverboard. The cat is absolutely terrified - has had two near tail misses and the hoverboard has now been declared an outdoor only toy.

DD (11) has some wireless headphones and we’ve hardly heard from her all day as she’s been sitting listening to rubbish music.

Wrongaddress · 25/12/2021 17:44

@Winterlude where did you get the among us figures?

I'm intrigued as never seen them

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 25/12/2021 17:46

Dd(2) dolls house
Ds (4) Mario lunchbox
Ds(8) dinosaur Lego
Dd(9) kindle
Dd(11) phone
Dd(12) make up
Ds(13) turbo man figure
Dd(14) AirPods

ChorleyFMcominginyourears · 25/12/2021 17:46

My 17 year old got an electric keyboard and stand, he has autism and we had no idea he could play at all until he went over to one in a shop and started playing beethoven (he's obsessed with music of mozart and beethoven, don't know where he gets that from!) So he was over the moon with that, my 13 year old daughters favourite gift was the galaxy projector we got her and my 11 year old sons favourite was his fortnite oodie! We've had a lovely day ❤

SockFluffInTheBath · 25/12/2021 17:47

DD14 a big bar of dairy milk with her name on the label.

Knitter99 · 25/12/2021 17:47

A mini frying pan for frying just one egg for ds9. He's had 3 fried eggs today, we've all had one, grandparents got one too when they arrived. Shame we didn't also gift him a dozen eggs, we've only got one left now.

Glittergoblin · 25/12/2021 17:55

A £1 Primark slinky 🙂

StorminaBcup · 25/12/2021 17:59

DS 5 & DS 8 remote control hot wheels monster trucks 👍

Svara · 25/12/2021 18:03

15 yo, a metre of Jaffa cakes and a box of chilli sauces

BlindBat · 25/12/2021 18:14

DS10 football wordsearches....(and tech) but lots of fun with this!

Kljnmw3459 · 25/12/2021 18:17

My 3 year old loved everything but playdoh seems to be the biggest hit.
8 year old loved the Legos and a gaming headset.

BlueLu · 25/12/2021 18:17

DS 11 flippantly asked for a house of his own in a pre teen strop last week. We bought a £10 colour in one and hid the actual presents inside. Has been the biggest hit of the day for him and the toddler!!

Tailrunner · 25/12/2021 18:18

DD9 got a Wii and it's been brilliant for getting the whole family playing together all afternoon. We've played mario carts, just dance, super mario, sports and now she is sat with lego harry potter (the advantage of buying second hand is it came with a selection of games). It even tempted DD13 away from her new phone.

Quornflakegirl · 25/12/2021 18:19

Harry Potter wands which was a last minute add, both my dc loved them.

LuluBlakey1 · 25/12/2021 18:20

DS1 (7) an old box of fossil shark teeth that were DHs and in PIL garage- cost absolutely nothing and he is thrilled with them.

DD (4) the mini potting table, garden tools and seeds and pots that FIL got her - she can't wait to be able to grow things with him.

DS2 (2) the cardboard boxes and the half an hour he spent picking up all the wrapping paper and stuff and putting it in a bin bag.

Temple29 · 25/12/2021 18:20

DS1 (2.5) hot wheels cars and slinky
DS2 (15 months) pull along elephant

stingofthebutterfly · 25/12/2021 18:22

Some bubbles and a pair of sunglasses (as requested by my 4 year old). Don't know why I bothered with bigger stuff!

Silversun83 · 25/12/2021 18:24

DD5: Our Generation doll and doll bunkbeds
DS3: Everything Grin Does love his battery-operated train though.

Thepowerofthelook · 25/12/2021 18:25

Dc1 no idea is asd and has been amazing and spent several hours with the family asking may cause a melt down,
Dc2 a PlayStation driving wheel (this was the only request),
Dc3 asd requested nothing but has sat stroking oodie all day and won't let siblings touch it because its special. A big hit.
