Just for fun, what has been the biggest hit so far?
Mine have been playing eith their lego cars almost all day!

My 9 year old got a £4 xbox controller shaped stress ball and he and his 5yo bro have fought over it all day
So worth all the expense lol

DD (7) poppets and wax doodles
DS (7) football kit and FIFA 22 for Switch
Both got lots of other things too that they're also very happy with!

Airpods were a hit.

DD(10) VR headset. She has saved her pocket money for 8 months and I paid the rest, I was so worried it wouldn’t live up to expectations but she loves it.

DS(6) is delighted with a new hoodie and some chocolate!

DS 4 light up skittles and a light up rugby ball.
Dd14 trainers because they have no laces and she was not expecting them and a artist set and easel.

Teenager = Won't say what favorite is (but the Ear Pods got the most surprised reaction)

A galaxy ceiling projector and microscope for DD6 and Hatchimals for DD4.

DD(16) a milk frother - so far she has frothed every coffee, skimmed milk into cream, super thick hot choc and my Baileys coffee - best tenner I’ve ever spent!

Hot water bottle from my mum, various Barbie nonsense from me and switch games from her dad

The random wrapped up penguin biscuits and packet of fig rolls and chocolate Santa from grandad. He always gives the foods they entity sharing together at granddad's house on his school pick up days! It went down storm as DS7 knows if he's given it as a gift he chooses when you eat it!

DD (nearly 6) is thrilled with a bundle of Playmobil figures with a pink carry case that I found on FB marketplace. It was a bit of a last minute top up gift when I realised she’d be self isolating at Christmas but it’s been a real hit.

DD2 (6 months) has a spoon that she refuses to put down

I bought DS(18) a mood octopus, just as a random gift.

He loves it. He’s had it perched on his shoulder for most of the day.

They got more than usual this year, and more big gifts than they usually get (a lot of lego), and hilariously the hit has been (drum roll) .. a rubex cube and a yoyo

DS13 loved his American ramen and Mac n cheese pots (yes I kid you not and thank you to the MNers that suggested hitting the American snacks websites) and his mixing deck which he asked for. He's also pulled out some Christmas jigsaws from three years ago that were unopened. I've never seen him spend so little time on his phone!

DD, fabric markers. She has been decorating a bag for the last two hours. It's amazing looking!

Forgot to add, his £8 slippers from eBay went down a storm too because they are soft and fluffy inside 😂

DD loved her OMG dolls the most, but she's also perfected her present opening face so that she looks mega excited about every single present she unwraps. It's very sweet actually.

Mario party game for dd, we played it together and all 4 of us enjoyed it.

A vintage playmobil space station I got on eBay a few months ago. I layered the bottom of our tuff tray with some tinfoil, added some black coloured rice and that kept DS1 entertained for hours.

DS2 quite likes his ball run, but I think he had more fun with the wrapping paper.
