@AllThingsServeTheBeam

I've got mine a one 2 one clay pigeon shoot lesson 🤣
Why are you fretting? If your not expecting anything from him then why would he expect anything from you?
Silverflute · 24/12/2021 17:38

Local theatre tickets
Restaurant booking
Weekend away
Leather jacket
A good bottle of port or whisky
Gadgets/tools

007Stocko · 24/12/2021 17:40

Why did it attach to your message - sorry! @supergloo

MrsPinkCock · 24/12/2021 17:41

OP can I suggest for next year that you mutually agree not to buy each other gifts?

This is the first year DH and I haven’t bought each other anything and honestly, the relief we both feel at not having had the stress of finding the perfect gift and spending a fortune is immense!

We’ve treated ourselves to a bottle of champagne and some nice food instead and will buy each other a joint TV to replace our TV that has been broken for a year in the sales. It’s bliss!

EwwSprouts · 24/12/2021 17:41

Last year I bought DH tickets for him and DS for the Question of Sport live show.

pantsandpringles · 24/12/2021 17:44

What about one of those air up things? A water bottle with different flavour caps you put on top to trick your brain into thinking your drinking flavoured water?

Sauce/ rub selection for meat?

A throw for his part of the sofa?

A neck massager?

Mollymoostoo · 24/12/2021 17:46

I bought ny husband some land in Scotland. He is now a Laird and can change his title to Lord.
You can do this online and download the certificate whilst waiting for the real one.

HarrisonStickle · 24/12/2021 17:48

A what?

Mollymoostoo · 24/12/2021 17:51

@supergloo

Whenever I ask him, I get the stock stupid responses like "a motorbike". I wish I could get him one!
Hire him one for a week
Luredbyapomegranate · 24/12/2021 17:51

Audible membership, you get a book a month plus podcasts..

…or a sex toy?!?!?

suckingonchillidogs · 24/12/2021 17:54

@1967buglet - you are a genius. Been stumped for my DP but have just got him a Private Eye subscription. Thanks for the inspiration! OP, hope you've had some luck too

Rtruth · 24/12/2021 17:57

Dress up as Mrs Claus and give him a good night. Job done!

MMAS · 24/12/2021 17:58

If you still love him and he still loves you, then it won't matter what you buy him and vice versa. Sounds like you have given up. Maybe that is a road to go down but perhaps pause for thought on that. I'm by myself, gave up a very long time ago on someone I possibly shouldn't have who was the world's worst at letting me know I was cared for. By the time he decided to let me know it was too late - my hurt feelings took over. I have spent almost 30 years by myself - would I do it again, No. If you truly care about someone, listen to them, notice them, then there always something that you can buy. At this stage, it is Xmas Eve so you have no chance of getting anything so how about just setting up a situation where you can toast each other to next year and coming clean with each other as to where this relationship is going. Wishing you luck x the fact you cared enough to write the post in the first place must mean you still care x

UserError012345 · 24/12/2021 17:59

Being with you is gift enough Grin

WhatAFlaminGalah · 24/12/2021 17:59

My husband just wanted a box of biscuits for Christmas so I got a box and bought various biscuits and put them in there. He loves American candy too so I got him some of that. He mentioned he needed some more blades for his razor so I got him some of those too (Harry’s ones).

I find him quite hard to buy for, even harder because his birthday is only 2 weeks before Christmas.

Normally he’d ask for his favourite author’s new book but he hasn’t released anything this year.

CambsAlways · 24/12/2021 18:05

Well it’s a bit late now, but didn’t you ask him what he would like, or am I missing something !

pantsandpringles · 24/12/2021 18:11

I got DH tickets to Commonwealth Games Birmingham 2022. I k ow he will love it because we went to Olympics when they were in London and he really loved that.

Cinnamonhazelnut · 24/12/2021 18:18

Wake him up tomorrow morning with a blow job. Pretty sure that's a top dream on most mens lists.
And then he will be a in a nice happy relaxed daze all day and won't even care you haven't got him a gift to open.
Or Anal. Stick a bow on a butt cheek and tell him to crack on... (lol)

Myhouseownsme · 24/12/2021 18:26

246 messages?! Way too much thought being put into a man who doesnt put much thought into himself.

You get him socks. Plain black ones. Sorted.

SaxonMama · 24/12/2021 18:27

A bladesmithing or blacksmithing course? Gave my husband vouchers for swordmaking and axmaking courses before. I did a knifemaking course with a guy who was given the course as a birthday present who was terrible disappointed as he’d rather wanted a river cottage baking class, but was absolutely thrilled at the end of it. Or rather a cooking class or massage course - one where he needs to do homework wink wink

Has it now moved from Bickenhill which is a bit further up the M40 and then the M42?[/quote]
Oh, you mean the motorcycle museum in Bickenhill, which is a different museum entirely, I didn't know about that one.

I meant the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, which has all sorts of vehicles. Or how about a tour of the Morgan car factory in Malvern, a nice town to spend the weekend.

Ineke · 24/12/2021 18:39

Mine always says he doesn’t want anything but from experience would sulk if I took him for his word. Some things that went down well were a back scratcher, and an iPad pen. Books are always are a winner as long as it’s his subject. But experiences to be shared with you sound a sure fire thing. Possessions can come and go, memories will last.

Ericaequites · 24/12/2021 18:41

Underpants and new handkerchiefs?

Isaidnomorecrisps · 24/12/2021 18:41

My OH is the same - no sure about motorbikes anymore - but just bought a 3 wheel Piaggio
After laughing a lot, realise it’s GREAT. Safe and fast and fun. Also £7k so maybe not from you but he could try it out ?
Happy Christmas OP 🙂
