Thanks @GoblinDaughter for the title

It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@buckeejit I don’t have a sheepskin hot water bottle cover but I do have a synthetic furry one.

It’s the best I’ve ever had: it’s definitely warm enough to be soothing but - and this is the best bit - it’s still warm in the morning. No ordinary fabric or knitted one has ever been half as good.

Very possibly sheepskin would be the same. Is it washable, though?

Daisy829 · 30/11/2020 12:47

@Fuckingfuckssake I have 2 packs of the gingerbreads that sit on cups but my girls can share one pack. They are getting plenty of other treats too! DM me your address and I’ll post them to you x

@weebarra

REN skincare: 20% off everything with code CLEAN20 25% off when you spend over £65 with code CLEAN25
Thank you!!

And a free face cream worth £34 which was the one I was ordering - at first glance the look fantastic 3for2 plus free gift and code look better but it’s actually cheaper through their own site!

caffeineanddryshampoo · 30/11/2020 13:01

@PinkDaydreams Kidly storage play mat

Fuckingfuckssake · 30/11/2020 13:08

Oh @Daisy829 I couldn't! Your poor girls! I'd never forgive myself, you are so kind to offer though.

buckeejit · 30/11/2020 13:10

@RavelryReveller thank you! I have several electric hot water bottles which stay warm til morning & probably wouldnt use the sheepskin one in bed.

Who knows, will ask dh to get it since the only other thing I want is some new pins with multi coloured plastic heads. Or if anyone can recommend any nice pins, let me know!

Bsgetty · 30/11/2020 13:10

@TheLastStarfighter For H&M, I couldn’t get the Amazon voucher to work in the app, but it did from the website. No idea why?!

Daisy829 · 30/11/2020 13:24

There are a few extra 10% off Debenhams codes being published:
LC26 is one and GF792LA5BN is another. I used HK10 yesterday which worked.
Only caveat is- there seems to be an outside chance they're going into receivership- latest talks to save them broke down. I risked it anyway.

GoblinDaughter · 30/11/2020 14:12

@Luxplus Are/were the Rainbowcorn and Present Pets on offer somewhere? Both are on my daughter’s list

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 30/11/2020 14:16

Thanks for the mystery glossy box deal @JaggyJumper - four little gifts sorted

Jedstre · 30/11/2020 14:20

@BigBadBox

I appreciate all the suggestions for DD.

@Makedo it's bit niche but my seven year olds getting a ]]

@Makedo that gymnastics bar looks brilliant but not the easiest perhaps to install.
nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 30/11/2020 14:26

@bigbadbox my dd is a bit older at 8 but is quite young in her tastes and she's been playing with similar stuff since around 5! Some hits from the last few years - lol dolls, boppi the llama, hatchimals, dressing up costumes (descendants, moana, jasmine are her favourites!), busy books or figures from favourite films, shopkins and shoppie dolls. She loves games - exploding kittens, jenga, monopoly/cluedo junior, uno, top trumps, payday, bugs in the kitchen. She also loves her teddies, especially the build a bear ones.
This year shes asked for a hatchimal hatchiwow llama, jurassic world blue, some lol dolls.

Or technology wise the Nintendo 2ds is a big hit with her, she loves playing warioware, pokemon, animal crossing, mariokart on it.

I'm looking for something for an 11yo boy, very clever, likes maths, wants to be an engineer, is permanently glued to YouTube. Budget around £30. Something that gets his face out of a screen would be preferable Grin

PitNicking · 30/11/2020 14:46

@Ginandsonic My DS is similar and loves things like this, although we haven't tried this specific one so can't vouch for it

DP is working from home so he's been in charge of secretly concreting two tubes into the lawn, so all that's visible if you were to look is 2 small holes. Then Christmas eve Santa will slot the bar into the tubes and pop a bow on it Xmas Grin

FizzyPink · 30/11/2020 14:55

I ordered these cushions covers from Shein at only £1.99 each last week. They’ve just arrived and I’m so impressed with the quality, lovely and soft. Could make a nice stocking filler

DumplingsAndStew · 30/11/2020 14:57

Can anyone help me? I'm looking for a Christmas bauble. I've bought Mickey/Minnie mouse bauble advent calendars (primark) the past couple of years, and other sets to bulk up our Disney tree - of course they don't have them this year.

I'd like a Mickey or Minnie 3D shaped bauble (like style pictured) that says 2020 on it, if anyone can find one?

WisestIsShe · 30/11/2020 15:01

@BigBadBox and @Makedo we had one of those and DD loved it. A good tip was to get plastic waste pipe and concrete that in to the ground. Obviously it's a v snug fit but it made it so much easier when the time came to take it down.

There are some fab looking sets here, and some are reduced today.
