Thanks @GoblinDaughter for the title

It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Where is best to get a reasonable inflatable decoration for outside the house? We are moving so want a decoration that is easy to transport but is impressive enough to keep the kids happy!

Graffitiqueen · 30/11/2020 11:08

I have resisted Black Friday sales until this morning when I crumbed and got 25% off glossier and treated myself to a skincare set.

If anyone has used Thortful cards before, check your email! They are giving away 1000 free cards a day until 2nd December.
You just use the code on the website and pick a card. I've got one for my parents as we come up to the 2nd Xmas without my sister Sad

Alittlebitofthis · 30/11/2020 11:23

I thought we'd finished for our son but he's just said he's putting 2 of his presents back as he's decided he wants something like a Segway! (It doesn't need to be this make!) I have said to him that santa will already have bought his presents but if we can find something reasonable I may get it. As a present from us.

Fuckingfuckssake · 30/11/2020 11:28

I'm still looking for those little biscuits from Home Bargains that sit on the edge of the cup, I'm desperate to get some for my sister, I can buy them online but only in a pack of 8 and with a delivery charge, if anyone happens to see a packet and would be prepared to post them to me (at my expense obviously) I'd be so grateful.

Fuckingfuckssake · 30/11/2020 11:29

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl do you have to put a code in for the subscription discount?

Makedo · 30/11/2020 11:33

@bigbadbox she would love that actually! Has been missing gymnastics as she hasn't been back since March. All I need to do is convince DH. Thanks

Changingagain · 30/11/2020 11:36

Graffitiqueen all the information is online now anyway, but would he appreciate a couple of pc magazines to look through on Christmas day, the kind that have comparisons of different parts in? Or maybe some new pc accessories to go with the pc, speakers, headset, gaming mouse, etc.?

sugarplumfairy2010 · 30/11/2020 11:37

caffeineanddryshampoo · 30/11/2020 11:41

TheLastStarfighter · 30/11/2020 11:45

@JoeWicksSurvivor what app do you recommend for keeping track of presents? I have a list on the laptop, but would prefer to have it on my phone.

@PinkPanther27 Harry Potter Astronomy Tower £75 (was £65 yesterday, so might go back down. Harry Potter Clocktower £56.50.

PinkDaydreams · 30/11/2020 11:54

@MydeamonsanOstrich @caffeineanddryshampoo can you post a picture of what you mean please, it sounds like something I may be interested in!

Thedarknightsaredrawingin · 30/11/2020 11:58

@Makedo good deal for aeropress but out of stock Xmas Sad

bettyskitchen · 30/11/2020 12:00

@sugarplumfairy2010 bargain! Might have to twitch....

buckeejit · 30/11/2020 12:01

Now I'm dithering over whether I want a sheepskin hot water bottle cover. I'm thinking it might be less hot. Has anyone already got one & would you recommend?

WeAreTheWeirdosMister · 30/11/2020 12:05

Trello is really good at keeping track of presents, you can save multiple lists on one screen. I have one for each child.

It's on phone and can look at it on computer if you want a closer look and you can have Christmas backgrounds and label things - such as idea/bought/wrapped/delivered.

Makedo · 30/11/2020 12:11

Oh no @thedarknightsaredrawingin sorry about that- was in stock just before I posted.

Not as good a deal, but this one is £29 with "free" bag of coffee and a gift box. here if you sign up for their newsletter you get 15% off so actually it's not bad- closer to £25. Comes in a nice gift box too it says. Hope that helps.

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 30/11/2020 12:20

@Fuckingfuckssake no code that I know of? On the link above it says that discounts are applied automatically at checkout (but I haven't tried it!).

25% off at the England Rugby Store with code ERCM here

Thedarknightsaredrawingin · 30/11/2020 12:28

Thanks @Makedo will have a look.
