Thanks @GoblinDaughter for the title

It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.

@Waterlemon someone several threads back mentioned Whistlefish. I got cards for about 68p each. 10 for £8 plus found a code. Very good quality

CeeceeBloomingdale · 04/12/2020 23:06

@CompleteBarstool Try H&M, they are doing free delivery for members

Anydreamwilldo12 · 04/12/2020 23:09

@mummabear74 really great quality. My Son has had his for a year now, washed frequently and still as thick and cosy as when it was bought. I know they are expensive but they I think they're good value for money.
They come in a drawstring bag, packed very tightly so I haven't took the new one out out he bag as it would be a struggle to get it back in so neatly.

Fuckingfuckssake · 04/12/2020 23:10

I bought the Costco oodie for my ds, only opened it today, it's fantastic quality, really thick, it's called The Comfy, I paid £12.99 with free delivery.

Fuckingfuckssake · 04/12/2020 23:12

Sorry, £18.99, and it's oos now at Costco, other than that it was a really helpful post 🙄

Anydreamwilldo12 · 04/12/2020 23:13

@Puffalicious you will love them I'm sure. Mine was delivered quite quickly after despatch.

FizzyPink · 04/12/2020 23:19

Can I ask how you all buy things from Costco? I thought you had to have a business account?

ArthurChristmas2 · 04/12/2020 23:29

@Chailatte20 ballet warm up boots would be within your budget? Bloch, dancewear, movedance all sell them.

Puffalicious · 04/12/2020 23:42

ooooooohhhhhh I'm excited now Anydream . I baulked after ordering 6 but now I'm so glad!

Sunshineskies · 04/12/2020 23:44

@Elizabethtailor I got my dog obsessed dd the dog bingo game from amazon. It looks fun.

@WeAreTheWeirdosMister how about an experience like day as a zoo keeper or something. Otherwise, annual pass to somewhere - theme park, farm or other locals attraction? Or some lessons - horse riding, ice skating, singing etc?

winewolfhowls · 04/12/2020 23:51

A good few threads ago someone mentioned free tea samples from pukka, they came today and I got 6 different and lovely flavours, a nice surprise on the doorstep as I came in. Worth keeping an eye out to see if they do it again.

Sunshineskies · 04/12/2020 23:54

Does anyone know if I have any chance of getting matching Christmas PJs? I think I’ve probably left it too late as all the (online) shops I’ve checked are oos. Can’t get to physical shops atm. I’d need size 8 and size 10 in ladies, 9-10 kids, 8-9 kids and M man.

margaritasbythesea · 04/12/2020 23:59

Hey @Reastie Wasn't 25 threads what you always wanted for Christmas Wink

TheLastStarfighter · 05/12/2020 00:03

Ah, sorry @Puffincrossing. I didn’t realise it was Argos on eBay. This one is a long shot too - there is a used one on Gamestop but you’d need someone in ROI to post it to you.

LetsPlayBamboozled · 05/12/2020 00:52

@puffincrossing no help really but I checked on Argos with my postcode for you (I'm in London) and nothing at all. Say's 'collection is not available in any of our stores' sorry.

Ruralretreating · 05/12/2020 01:04

I was so excited my Groupon bed linen arrived...until I opened it and it was the wrong size and wrong design! Any recommendations for bargain double size Christmas bedlinen please?

Puffalicious · 05/12/2020 01:06

Ruralretreating Aldi had great ones in when I was in store the other day x

CoffeethenCrochet · 05/12/2020 01:28

@Turnedouttoes

You can subscribe if you don't meet the business membership option. I paid £15 for a 1 year online only membership, it was more expensive to have a warehouse subscription. I've already covered my £15 fee in savings and only been a member a few months.
4Minions2CallMyOwn · 05/12/2020 01:31

20% off full price items at Sports Direct

Incidentally if you buy online there’s barely any discount as they’ve slightly discounted items already. Eg. Got a football top for DH. Online £64.99 down to £59.99 so not eligible for the 20% discount. Plus there is a delivery charge so no saving at all! I went instore and it was still full price so I got 20% off it- so got it for £52! Smile

Ruralretreating · 05/12/2020 01:32

Thanks @Puffalicious, I will have a look!

windsorblue · 05/12/2020 02:53

Atlas for men are ok my mum has used them before.

@Sunshineskies it’s probably a slim chance. We don’t get matching pjs but usually have a theme eg this year it’s tartan. Previous years we’ve done grinch and Disney. Could that work for you?

IggyAce · 05/12/2020 07:01

Move along

bookish83 · 05/12/2020 07:18

@Puffalicious

Jaques of London have £10 off a £40 spend. Fantastic wooden toys for all ages. I've just ordered a chess set (anyone else watching the Queen's Gambit?🤣) really lovely quality and great prices.

wooden toys and games

I agree with this. We have a few of their toys and think they are excellent. The sensory block box is great!
