please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Shutitwierdo · 25/10/2020 09:42

selina25 · 25/10/2020 09:51

Tokyo Laundry bundle offer hoodie and 3 t shirts £25 free delivery over £30 so I usually add some socks to my order to qualify.

1stTimeMama · 25/10/2020 09:53

@woodwaj I've often used Parcel Monkey to send large items.

Puffinhead · 25/10/2020 09:53

I also bought the Sienna fake oldies from Amazon and am happy with them.

Can anyone recommend a selfie stick/tripod for iPhone? It’ll be for my DD13. There are loads on Amazon and I’ve spent ages trawling through the reviews but not really getting anywhere! Budget is up to £20.

woodwaj · 25/10/2020 09:57

@1stTimeMama that looks really useful! Thank you!

TheLastStarfighter · 25/10/2020 09:59

@1stTimeMama If you do end up ordering from eBay, be really careful. There are a lot of people selling just one of the Diagonally buildings (rather than the whole street), and also some people selling the mini Diagonally set (set 40289, which originally detailed at under £20) with ambiguous pictures and descriptions, as a buy it now of over £150.

This is the mini one (under £20 RRP) just soyou can compare to any pictures

@woodwaj Depends how big you mean, but have a look at Hermes and Collect plus.

Birdladybird · 25/10/2020 10:11

@woodwaj parcel2go or parcel monkey. I use these to ship from France to uk and they are the cheapest!

lolarabbit · 25/10/2020 10:13

@woodwaj I've used myHermes on several occasions and never had any problems. Royal mail (or is it parcel force?) have now introduced a pickup from door service but I think it comes out a bit more expensive than some other couriers.

VividImagination · 25/10/2020 10:21

@luckerr I bought this glass for my sister to go with lemon gin for her birthday. It’s not personalised but I thought it was beautiful. I also got coasters to match.

I’m after colourful gin glasses, has anyone seen one about?

VividImagination · 25/10/2020 10:23

Thanks for the parcel info. Really helpful. It will be quite big, I need to send a balance bike, a peppa pig till and clothes my son has outgrown to pass on (currently being rammed into a hoover bag!) Luckily the toys were such a bargain its not too much of a sting having to post them!

Puffalicious · 25/10/2020 10:38

winewolfhowls both my DS have stunt scooters and park ride. They're older now and tend to prefer BMX park riding but they'll still use the scooters on occasions, esp as we live quite near the biggest indoor park in the UK.

I'll look at the brands when I get home later. I do remember them being quite pricey- their main present- but worth it as they last until adult size. You will replace wheels now and again and grips but apart from that should last a long time.

I'll post later.

A long board has been requested by my 14 yr old- I'm searching those later! This is where you life will go if he really gets into this way of life!Hmm

tootsnwoocake · 25/10/2020 10:39

I have a few codes which may be of use to someone. PM if interested

£10 off a £40 spend at Joules

15% off a £60 spend at Culture Vulture

£5 off £30/£10 off £50/£20 off £80 at Hotel Chocolat

15% off Cult Beauty

TheCrow · 25/10/2020 10:40

10217 is the code for the big Diagon Alley set so if you type that into eBay when searching it should filter out all the mini sets and individual shop sets 🙂

EightToSixer · 25/10/2020 10:46

Flash sale 25% off Boden today

Also FatFace has a VIP sale.

TheDrsDocMartens · 25/10/2020 10:46

Think I may be posting some large parcels to uni students if they aren’t back. Dd1 is in a house so easy but complicated if Dd2 can’t come back!

NoWordForFluffy · 25/10/2020 10:47

@woodwaj, quite a few courier comparison sites have a discount for the first parcel, so it's always worth a Google.

Gurufloof · 25/10/2020 10:51

I've just been on the Reebok website looking for new trainers for me, a popup says you can sign up for the black Friday deals which I've done. And then apparently you can go make a wishlist presumably for the black Friday deals. I didnt go further so I'm not certain.
They also currently have up to 50%off on some stuff.

Ruralretreating · 25/10/2020 10:51
