please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@strawberryblondebint I got pencil with Christmas erasers from Home bargains (10 for £1) for my class.

itsBoooisntit · 25/10/2020 21:30

Had to cancel our Christmas cottage this week. Nearly makes you cry at what sort of Christmas we'll have.

Anyway, on the hunt for best AirPod with wireless charging case. Found £138 at Tech in the basket but their codes only work if you spend over £200.

Anyone any suggestions or seen better deals? Or should I wait for Black Friday?

Rockhopper81 · 25/10/2020 21:54

Just to say - there is bound to be another Snap Fish code/reduction/deal over the next month or so; I make a photobook for a gift at the end of November/beginning of December, and there is usually an offer on it. I'm hoping there will be at least - I haven't taken the photos for the book yet!

Helssjbells · 25/10/2020 21:59

I’m looking for some Christmas themed bath bombs for my 8 yr old DS. I think someone mentioned some on an earlier thread, but I’ve done a lot of scrolling and I can’t find the link! Any suggestions? x

DaisyChops · 25/10/2020 22:01

Does anyone know if vertbaudet ever do offers, I can get 20% off for new customer not sure if to wait and see if any Black Friday discounts?

Fancyateapottea · 25/10/2020 22:05

Have you looked at very for AirPods. They do good discount offers and you can pay over 3 months. I got £30 off ordering through them.

myhobbyisouting · 25/10/2020 22:14

@Helssjbells Home Bargains have some. Gingerbread men, Santa and I think a candy cane

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 25/10/2020 22:15

@helssjbells could it be Mrs Snowballs bubble boutique you've seen mentioned regarding bathbombs? Not sure if they have the Christmas ones yet, but we got some bits for a pamper day during lockdown and they smelled lovely.

@CompleteBarstool

Does anyone know anything about the website bonprix ?

It popped up as an advert and when you go on the site it gives you a 25% off code for your first order. It seems to sell everything from electrical appliances to clothing to furniture.

I've ordered from Bon Prix for years, love their clothes. That's all I've ordered from them though and I've always paid cash, not credit.
Spam88 · 25/10/2020 22:48

Monstersaurus book reduced to £1.49 on Amazon.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 25/10/2020 22:58

@girlsyearapart, right there with you. I had COVID in March and still feel a bit pants so the little things I can do to make Halloween and Christmas (and, frankly, any other occasion I can think of) a bit more magical for everyone we love are holding me together/making me lose my shit right now!

myhobbyisouting · 25/10/2020 23:10

Thank you @Spam88 another book purchased!

craftymadam · 25/10/2020 23:14

Thanks for highlighting Ticket to ride, I wanted to get it last year & forgot! Can anyone recommend any good educational jigsaws to do as a family? Oldest Ds is 13 youngest is 10. Figure we'll be spending a lot of time at home this Christmas and I'd like us to do some things together... Smile

cailingaelach · 25/10/2020 23:14

Thank you for Ticket to Ride heads up, been waiting for a price drop for ages!

winewolfhowls · 25/10/2020 23:15

Many thanks for the scooter tips, so much choice!

recklessgran · 25/10/2020 23:15

@strawberryblondebint my DD gets slime pots from Baker Ross they vary from £1.95 - £2.95 for 8 pots or 32 for £11.25. She says these go down a storm and are always the first things to go from the "prize" box at her school.

EvilHerbivore · 25/10/2020 23:26

Ticket to ride at £18.50!

SleeptightDaisy · 25/10/2020 23:37

@Helssjbells I've ordered some Christmas bath bombs from Mrs Snowballs boutique we had some before and they are lovely. They don't dry your skin or stain.

SleeptightDaisy · 25/10/2020 23:38

Can anyone remember or recommend photo glass cloths? They were on a thread last year. I'm sure my parents would like one of the grandchildren. 🤣
