Hope you don’t mind the title @IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts !

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Has anyone see a deal or discount on miss dior perfume? My mum loves it and I want to get her some for Christmas but it is pricey!

Sarahclacko · 24/10/2020 17:03

@XFPW lots of recommendations on www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/3811967-doing-a-great-blow-dry-on-yourself
This was the price on prime day but would expect similar deals on Black Friday

@lexloofah I bought my husband a Shower radio from John Lewis last year and it’s ace. The sound is great and I find we only need to charge it once a week. To charge you just plug it into the wall via an android charger.

I recommend it - at £49.95 not a bargain but a well made product which works well and is easy to use.

found this at John Lewis & Partners. What do you think? John Lewis shower radio

Just copy and paste the link, @Dreamingofwalden!

Dreamingofwalden · 24/10/2020 18:52

I give up!! Sorry! I’m trapped under a feeding baby and am proving inept at doing clicky links. Google John Lewis shower radio and you should find it that way - if you’re interested @lexloofah Smile

Brashopper · 24/10/2020 18:53

Another Penhaligon’s code which might stack with the others posted at 10:57 is HANDWASHFORYOU.

I’m not sure how much you have to spend but it accepted it when I had £68 in my basket.

NoWordForFluffy · 24/10/2020 18:55

Is this the right one @Dreamingofwalden?

ShoppingBasket · 24/10/2020 19:07

Thank you for all the bag suggestions, now I don't know which one to choose Grin

Does anyone have a recommendation for a rechargeable hair dryer (or one that will work in a cigarette lighter), it's for MIL as her gym no longer allows the use of a hairdryer, so she is hoping to use one in her car! Budget is ideally £30-£40 max. TIA

Ridikulusness · 24/10/2020 20:46

@1stTimeMama

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can leason the blow of buying the Lego Diagon Alley?
Oh god me too!!! The cheapest I’ve seen is £369.99 in the Lego Store. It’ll break my little ones heart but there’s no way I can stretch to that. Please lovely Christmas elves do your magic.
fogginghell · 24/10/2020 20:56

@snowfairylover yay a fellow Mancunian Grin try appna store in Longsight, worlwide in Rusholme (curry mile) or manchester food store Rusholme (top end of curry mile). Those are the ones closest to me (I'm in Withington!). And guaranteed marshmallows Wink

fogginghell · 24/10/2020 20:57
