Hope you don’t mind the title @IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts !

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets

Name of link

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Thanks @leeloo1 - I was actually looking at storytime and wondering about it ( hard to tell how much he would be able to access himself but sounds like it might actually be a good balance). He definitely isn’t one that needs encouragement to read so it would probably be good for him (unlike my eldest for whom I have to try all sorts of tricks to get him engaged).

luckiestgirl · 24/10/2020 10:46

@dramalamma the velvetiser is non stick- I just run it under the tap when I’ve used it and that pretty much washes any chocolate froth away, ready to use the next time

@ShoppingBasket seasalt do gorgeous jute bags. I have bought them as presents before, and they hold loads. Looks like there is a wait for them at the moment.

I’ve also got really lovely Orla Kiely new at Tesco before, but not sure if they are doing any now.

Just spotted that Whistlefish are doing 15 Christmas cards for £6 instead of £8 - the cards are usually a pound each at least so it’s a good deal.
And they’re lovely cards - I first discovered them on these threads many years ago and still keep an eye on them for bargain Christmas and general cards!

KillZill · 24/10/2020 11:51

Thank you so much to everyone who gave Mentos suggestions, my daughter will be delighted.

Whirligig toys was suggested by someone a few threads ago for lovely creative/science toys. They currently have £5 off a £20 spend for new customers - sign up for the newsletter at the bottom of the page to get it.

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 24/10/2020 12:05

Does anyone remember the Boots discount code posted a while ago pls? I’ve scrolled back but can’t find it and want to see if I’m super lucky and it still works! Thank you

Chocolateteabag · 24/10/2020 12:10

Has anyone bought from www.buzz-retail.com before?

They have the Lego Technic Porsche for £89.99 - next cheapest I can find is Costco for £104. Trust pilot reviews are a bit mixed so I'm thinking the Costco option is safer?

Which leads me to ask - any way of getting a discount from Costco (or is that daft?)

Brogues · 24/10/2020 12:11

Boots code was 5OFF35. I screen shot the posts with code I might need at a later date.
