Hope you don’t mind the title @IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts !

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Our editorial content is NOT influenced by affiliate partnerships. You may not post affiliate links without the prior permission of Mumsnet.

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

I did some rl shopping today. Morrisons still have good offers on toys. I got a Chase and a Marshal dino pup and vehicle for £7.50 cheapest elsewhere was Wilkos for £14 & Tesco some decent looking items . Ran out of time to go to Sainsburys so may try them another day. Also Morrisons and Tesco both have choc oranges for £1. Wilkos had sweet letter to Santa templates £1 for a pack of 2.

@Reastie 🤣🤣🤣 This isn't how I imagined I'd finally make a thread title, but I'll take it!

HoneyDragon · 19/10/2020 20:18

Wow, I’m super late to the threads and haven’t been on Mumsnet in an age, glad it’s all still ploughing on.

Just purchased some Mood Octpusses, Octopie? Octopussies? on Amazon. Thought they were a nice price for stocking fillers or gifts for school friends and a nice way for tweens to communicate WinkGrin

YOREN Cute Octopus Plush Toys, Double-Sided Flip Octopus Doll, Soft Reversible Octopus Stuffed Animals Doll, Creative Toy Gifts for Kids,Girls,Boys,Friends www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08DFTK8G3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_soEJFbPDQF5QD?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

HoneyDragon · 19/10/2020 20:19

I’ve clearly forgotten how to do links nicely Hmm

Lockdownlumpy · 19/10/2020 20:19

Just visted a b+m further from home.
Now have a stocking with one letter, and a sack with the other. So will have to keep hunting!!
Cashier said xmas range is normally restocked so hopefully more will come in.
She said they'd been very popular Grin

@Fridgeandkitchen usually around 22 ish threads. Always perilously close to the magic 25 threads for 25th December but we haven’t got there yet. This year I think will be the year though!

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts hope you don’t mind the thread title, I nearly pmed you to check you were ok about it.

Scoleah · 19/10/2020 20:42

For anyone that is still deciding on the Bubblepanda offer, I received mine & decided to do it with DD this evening as I was as excited as her.
I don't know what I was expecting for £14.10 but I feel ripped off.
Green tea, that you put syrup in and add tapioca pearls.
She was delighted though, but personally I wouldn't purchase again!

heated throws Think a few folk were looking at heated throws? qvc have them on preview offer www.qvcuk.com/Cozee-Home-Luxury-Faux-Fur-Heated-Throw-with-6-Heat-Settings.product.809971.html?sc=SRCH for about £34 instead of £66. I’ve got a referral code for another £10 off if you PM me, or there’s loads on the referral thread

bagginses · 19/10/2020 20:53

myhobbyisouting · 19/10/2020 21:14

Thank you @bagginses Grin

Best price ever according to the camels and I'm collecting from a locker to get the bonus fiver.

makingmiracles · 19/10/2020 21:15

@greyinganddecaying your best bet is Black Friday, somewhere around the 27th nov for iPads.

I recently just got a new mini for £349 instead of £399 on amazon with a nifty little (non apple) Bluetooth keyboard, i love it, its like having a mini laptop lol.

Thanks! Do you think it’s best to buy direct from apple?

ArabellaPilkington · 19/10/2020 21:24

I'm not into Lego and neither have my DC ever been (teens now) but GOD would I love that Knight Bus....

UselessInDisguise · 19/10/2020 21:26

@myhobbyisouting how do you do that bonus fiver thing I haven't managed to get it to work yet

NeedMoreTea · 19/10/2020 21:27

@Scoleah thanks for the bubble tea report. I've been procrastinating over getting that kit. Problem is I wouldn't know where to start if buying the ingredients to make my own bubble tea hamper. Please could you tell me what the best before dates are for the ingredients? I was wondering if it would last until Xmas?
