They did the same last year, @christmascantcomesoonenough.

@Raindancer411, it's £50 per card. So if you have 2 cards you can have £100.

@myhobbyisouting, are your cards totally separate accounts or linked to each other?

I'm pretty sure we got more than £50 across the two cards last year.

Raindancer411 · 19/10/2020 19:49

@NoWordForFluffy That would be handy then as I think we have two cards

myhobbyisouting · 19/10/2020 19:58

We have 2 separate accounts. So two lots of £50 doubled up to £200 total

myhobbyisouting · 19/10/2020 20:01

You can double up on the app whilst shopping. So get your trolley filled then double up whilst in store.

ChristmasCantComeSoonEnough · 19/10/2020 20:10

Is there a limit per category this year, I seem to remember it being £20 last year so giving you £40 to spend on one item.

NoWordForFluffy · 19/10/2020 20:11

No limit per category. Just the total limit.

Yeknom · 19/10/2020 20:13

Last year I maxed to £100. I've only got £25 on my card this year as we were unable to get any delivery slots with sainsburys over lockdown - still better than nothing :) I usually like to go mad in the home section!

TheLastStarfighter · 19/10/2020 20:27

My Prime Day Amazon Echo Show arrived today. It didn’t have the stand with it, which is annoying, but .....they did also send me a second Show Hmm. I’ve only been charged for one.

Morally I should send the second one back, but I have been though similar with them before when they sent me two expensive joysticks. I returned the duplicate, but they refunded me, then when I pointed it out to them they apologised, refunded me again, and credited my account with a tenner. So I ended up with a £300 joysticks which I hadn’t paid for and £310 in my account.

ChristmasCantComeSoonEnough · 19/10/2020 21:26

@TheLastStarfighter I think that might win bargain of the year if slightly unintentional!

InglouriousBasterd · 19/10/2020 21:30

@DumplingsAndStew I replied to your PM but can’t see if it sent! Let me know if you didn’t get it Smile

2anddone · 19/10/2020 21:38
@2anddone I feel like it was early November, but don’t quote me on that. I know that I bought when on offer last year and they included ones which I was mailing to friends in the US. I always mail their Christmas parcel in November because it also includes advent calendars, so I feel like the selection box offer must have been early on in the month.
Thank you I will keep an eye out

Betterly.com have subscription boxes and there’s a discount code on their site

Iwanttobeagranny · 19/10/2020 21:50

Argh...how do you reply to someone? I just keep posting random comments instead of replies 😂

buckeejit · 19/10/2020 21:54

@TheLastStarfighter I've just spent 50mins on live chat complaining (nicely) about the lack of stand with the echo. Was going nowhere & CF assistant kept telling me I hadn't added it.

When I said 'it's disappointing that you've not offered an apology or assistance in resolving your error...'. He said 'oh I'm soo sorry from the deepest bottom of my heart....'

Wtf? It's actually ruined my night & enraged me. He's eventually changed tack & offered me £5 but I'm going to have to make a complaint about him. I don't want to pay £25 for stands as they don't look worth it but think they'd be useful for my folks. I like the shows but really tempted to return them even though it would be cutting odd my nose to spite my face. Ugh

spudsuliked · 19/10/2020 23:01

@buckeejit if you can please go back and screenshot the chat, I had an equally bizarre interaction where the person the other end was incredibly sarcastic and rude (to the point of wtf) and when I complained I was told the chat had been wiped so they couldn't check it out.. it had also vanished on my end when I scrolled up where you can normally view past chats.

Sunshineskies · 19/10/2020 23:15

Can anyone help me with ASOS please? They say free delivery over £35 on their site. I’ve spent over £35 even after the discount has been applied. It’s still charging me £4 for delivery. I’ve been ‘chatting’ to someone for almost ten mins on customer service live chat, well she came and said hi and that she’d look into it and hasn’t come back Confused.

buckeejit · 19/10/2020 23:24

@spudsuliked I have thank you & have emailed it to the complaints dept apparently. He gave me the email address though so it might be dodgy - [email protected] ?

Using live chat sucks the life out of me at the best of times but no need for the cheek. I've had to endure folk that whinged a lot more than me. And the amount of stuff I buy from them & don't complain without reason. Grrr
