To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@Bridecilla we have these ones and they're great just be careful putting them up that you don't snap the strip.

DumplingsAndStew · 19/10/2020 01:21

Sorry not quite christmassy, but Dd could do with some new adidas leggings so I thought I'd bung a couple of pairs in with her christmas. Do you ever get free postage at Sports Direct? Its a 20 mile trip so a bit much if they don't have them in store like the last two times I've tried

TheDrsDocMartens · 19/10/2020 04:21

@UselessInDisguise

I'm gutted I never seem to get an argos code Sad
I don’t either. No idea why!
Reastie · 19/10/2020 05:59

@Bridecilla I’ve bought one for dd for her bedroom (that’s Alexa controlled) so also interested in this.

@Yeknom, I'm pretty sure you can't check out on M&S without creating an account, so you should log in to check your order status. Mine just says 'Order created'.

@Bridecilla and @Reastie we have an Alexa controlled colour changing strip light which runs round the underneath of my son's mid sleeper bed and he loves it! (We got it for him having had the same ourselves run around the base board in the kitchen) really great just have to be careful putting it up to get it all stuck down properly

We are looking at doing this for dd3s bed. How does it turn corners?

Toomanycats99 · 19/10/2020 07:10

@DumplingsAndStew

It was a while ago but when I ordered something foe click and collect they still charged delivery but I then got a voucher for that value to spend.

So sort of free! Not sure on home delivery.

That’s what I’ve got for her! So it sticks on? Is it the kind of thing that will never come off without ruining what it’s stuck on to?!

Crackery · 19/10/2020 07:33

Any tips on getting discount/ best price on ghd straighteners?

IHeartKingThistle · 19/10/2020 07:57

eBay has 20% off their Playmobil store.

Jfw82 · 19/10/2020 08:11

@Reastie @TheDrsDocMartens have tried to add photo showing how it is stuck on (and going round a corner) and another just to show the overall effect under the bed - it sticks on really well- I expect if we were to take it off a quick wipe round with some sticky stuff remover would easily take away any residue without much damage as that's what we had when we had to unstick part of one in the kitchen to change the dishwasher Smile

Ghds were reduced on Prime day Crackery so might be worth waiting for black friday to see if there is a similar reduction

shash1982 · 19/10/2020 08:27

bridecilla dd1 has them in her room and they look brilliant. Easy to put up and you can order connectors if you need double the length.
She loves them (just want to get some for the kitchen if dh agrees! 😂)

shash1982 · 19/10/2020 08:27

That was referring to the led strip lights!

LutherRalph1 · 19/10/2020 08:37

Flash sale on the fragrance shop . Has been going all night but 20 mins left

EwDavid · 19/10/2020 08:41

There's 20% off everything at ASOS with code BIGVIBE at the checkout at the moment.

Firsttimeposter121 · 19/10/2020 09:04

I’d love a discount code for sports direct if anyone has one? X

Theonlyoneiknow · 19/10/2020 09:09

Would be really grateful if anyone has a lakeland discount code for 20% off (eyeing up a heated air drier!).
