Another thank you for the saplings vodka code.

Excellent customer service from them as well when my phone checked me out without the chance to put the code in so I paid full price without meaning to. I emailed them and asked them to cancel the order so I could reorder with the code and they did. Great to see. They may have just made a customer for life.

@CoffeeAndEnnui I’ve received my weighted blanket (though it’s still in the bag as it’s a gift). It feels like soft cotton I think - it’s not velvetty (I hate velvet, it make my teeth itch), but it’s softer than cotton, difficult to describe I’m afraid

GoblinDaughter · 19/10/2020 09:54

If anyone sees one of these could someone pick one up for me please? I’ll pay postage (give you my first born, a kidney) etc 🤞 DD really wants one and I’m sick of rifling through them all every time we go 🤞

Anyone with Aldi toy sale experience know how quickly the pink kitchen is likely to sell out instore? DH and I are both working and unable to get to Aldi till 3.30 at the latest and there's no one else that can go for us. I know that last year I managed to get some lovely stuff a day or so later but wasn't looking for anything specific. It's concerning me that it appeared to sell out online so quickly. Smile

buckeejit · 19/10/2020 10:06

@GoblinDaughter is it a P that you want? I'll be in later this week checking the sacks again!

Bert2020 · 19/10/2020 10:07

@waitforitwaitforit it completely depends, I used my nearest Aldi and things would sell so quickly. Another store that I used sporadically would often have items reduced as they didn’t sell so well in that area. It may be worth going very late the evening before as I once managed to buy an item that way as they had already stocked.

Yes it’s a P! Thank you so much, really appreciate you looking

@DumplingsAndStew Adidas often has 30% off and delivers. If you need a student code for sports direct pm me.
LED drawing board thing under £10 on amazon good little extra and I’ve got three for low (ish) tech in car entertainment.

Trying right before closing the night before was DH's plan. I thought they'd maybe be very strict but they're quite laid back at our Aldi so maybe. Grin

15% off wrapping paper in festive studio with code WP15

SingaporeSlinky · 19/10/2020 10:25

GoblinDaughter they have those in Home Bargains as well if you have one near you. I got the letters I needed, pretty sure they were £3.99

Firsttimeposter121 · 19/10/2020 10:39

Are there any more Argos codes about pls?

riffleraffle · 19/10/2020 10:41

Tesco Mario Lego 3for2

Not sure if this has already been mentioned. 3for2 across the range, including the starter pack and surprise bags. There was only 3 expansion packs in the store I was in so I got an £18 pack for free. They didn’t have the bigger packs like Bowsers castle etc. I haven’t seen the range reduced anywhere else yet so figured it might be as good as it gets.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 19/10/2020 10:42

I asked my DH to do ONE thing - hide the Barbie dream house. Guess who's DD found it this morning in our loft guest room, just sitting out and uncovered??? 🤬😤😡😭😭😭

Changingagain · 19/10/2020 10:44

Thanks for the RexLondon tip, I've just spent a fortune Shock I've got lots of stocking fillers and nieces and nephews sorted though.

Someaddedsugar · 19/10/2020 10:52

A number of Schleich animals are included in Amazon's buy 4 save 10% today - mostly the lower price ones like the duck and sloth but still a good saving.

Yeknom · 19/10/2020 10:52

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts NO NO AND NO! Oh my goodness! What are you going to do??? Can you say you're looking after it for a friend? Seriously I would be livid!!!!

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 19/10/2020 10:53

@ivegotalovelybunchofcoconuts I've had that happen before 🤬 (still not forgiven or forgotten!). Our dd was only 6 so I managed to convince her that we were storing it for a friend of mine who lived around the corner and she absolutely must keep it a secret. I waffled on about us being the alternative delivery address, and somehow she believed me!

myhobbyisouting · 19/10/2020 10:57

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts Shock I'm fuming at your 'D'H.

VividImagination · 19/10/2020 10:59

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts I can empathise. I asked adult ds1 to hide a Nintendo switch for ds3 last year and he put it under the duvet in my bed. The first time ds3 went upstairs he reappeared holding it. Arrrggh!!

DinosaurOfFire · 19/10/2020 11:03

Tesco have further reductions in their toy sale, every toy is reduced, Barbie is 25% off most others are between 10% and 50% off
I got the surprise Barbie mermaids for £15 instead of £20.

JoanneCofton · 19/10/2020 11:13

15% off Boots Christmas gifts (have to load it from the offers page on the advantage card app so have to have an advantage card to use the offer

As well as this, XMASQMS3 for £3 off 15 and then if you have student discount a further 10% so just got 3 £10 items for £12.60

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 19/10/2020 11:21

Love that people understand/empathise about the discovery of Christmas toys... everyone else would probably just say I shouldn't have bought it in October! 😂 it was the very bargainous prime day deal, and far and away my best deal this year... I went upstairs and found it right in front of the door to the crawl space. It would have taken 3 seconds for DH to have put it in there!!!!!!

My DD is 4 (5 in Feb), and I was caught off guard so simply said it was for Christmas and she said ok and not mentioned it again. I know she won't forget, so the surprise factor is all gone ☹️ Really gutted, and wish I'd been quicker to think of a plausible excuse!!!! 😢

Carrie76 · 19/10/2020 11:44

Can anyone remember the name of the book people equivalent?

forestsmurf · 19/10/2020 11:44

@Joannecofton thanks for that just got 3 mens no7 sets for £20. Perfect for those hard to buy for men in my family.
