**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@thaegumathteth

All those wanting a playroom. We have one - we'd had it about 3 years when my daughter said 'is it called a playroom because were mean to play in it?' And that'll tell you how much the living room did not become a toy free zone
Ha ha testify!

@dementedma

There is a thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/4052123-Today-I-am-wearing-cashmere-for-the-first-time
That might help .

gavisconismyfriend · 18/10/2020 21:38

CoffeeAndEnnui · 18/10/2020 21:50

@Mipe, thanks ever so much!

CoffeeAndEnnui · 18/10/2020 22:09

For anyone who bought and has now received the Brentfords weighted blanket, what does the fabric it's made of feel like, it's really hard to gauge from the pics. Is it velvety or more cotton-like?

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 18/10/2020 22:15

Can anyone offer any wisdom on Slacklines? I've decided I ds really needs one. Obviously a bargainous one would be preferred but any advice/ones to avoid would also be appreciated.

SewVeryLazy · 18/10/2020 22:15

@spam88 at 3.5yrs (my daughter is a similar age) I'd be tempted to buy playmobil 2nd hand. I got a bargain zoo off ebay, with extras. So long as you wrap it she won't care about it not being all in tiny pieces in the original box.

Yeknom · 18/10/2020 22:16

👋🏻...bit of a random one. I've just searched through my inbox and can't find my email confirmation but I ordered the bargain mns gin/fizz deal - can anyone remember when we're due to receive them? Was it mid October (now!!) or November! TIA

mum2jakie · 18/10/2020 22:19

@HarryBob thanks for the Ben Sherman tip. Got a good deal on some socks for teenage son.

woodwaj · 18/10/2020 22:20

For those that like wax melts ive ordered some from here and they are nice and they are doing little sets for Christmas www.etsy.com/shop/EarthlyDelightsUK

Ive also got Mrs Snowballs bubble boutique on snapchat and I saw a video today of a cracker bath bomb and inside was a key to let santa in which I thought was a great idea. She said they will be on the website some time next week (I checked and the cracker on the website now has nothing inside so check for the key!)

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 18/10/2020 22:26

@yeknom I'm 99% sure that delivery of the Gin was November.

recklessgran · 18/10/2020 22:26

@Yeknom I ordered mine on 24th September and my acknowledgement e-mail says it will be delivered by 5th November.

Yeknom · 18/10/2020 22:28

Oh you super stars thank you so much...am slightly gutted it won't arrive for half term Grin

recklessgran · 18/10/2020 22:33

@Yeknom I've just been back and looked in more detail at my e-mail. It says that you'll be contacted when you're getting your delivery and will be given a time slot for said delivery which apparently is between 7am and 7pm. Hope that helps, but sorry about half term - perhaps a lie down in a darkened room might help ....... not as good as gin though. Ha! Ha!

Shrillharridan · 18/10/2020 22:34

I'd love it gaviscon if its still available x

HawkinsLab · 18/10/2020 23:06

22Giraffes · 18/10/2020 23:54
