@Hophop26

What’s IKEA wrapping paper like? Worth the £4 delivery charge?
I 2nd the cox & cox recommendation with the discounts present which although sounds expensive it’s working out at £10 a roll delivered with the discount.

I was so impressed I took a picture of how many presents I wrapped with one roll with out it ripping at corners and looks so nice - it’s reversible so I’ll do one roll patterned and the next plain. I bought 4 rolls delivered for £39.965 and I’m such a saddo I took a picture to prove how long each roll lasts - this is 1 roll and I think that’s loads...

Ugh, I do repeat myself, sorry, it’s a thing.

The plastic wrapped packages are presents wrapped in the paper inside - not a stealth present pile post ha ha

@GazingAndGrazing That’s lovely paper. What’s the design called please? Smile

GazingAndGrazing · 18/10/2020 19:55
@GazingAndGrazing have you looked at White Company?
Yeas, some lovely ones although I feel a bit odd spending more on the bag than the brushes!

Hotairoverthere · 18/10/2020 19:57

Would anyone happen to have a unidays code for sports direct?

Thanks in advance, would really appreciate it. My son had grown out of his clothes and had picked some tracksuits from spirts direct which comes to £85 and to get 10% off would be very helpful.

It’s this one and so nice to work with - as you can see from the pile I wrapped today. It’s not a referral so I don’t get anything in return for spreading the recommendation.

JoanneCofton · 18/10/2020 20:02

@Hotairoverthere I’ve pm’d you a code

Hotairoverthere · 18/10/2020 20:08

@JoanneCofton thank you very much! Smile

CoffeeAndEnnui this is a link for the Bubble Tea, the 15% off code for build your own boxes is PANDABYO15 (I hope it still works) Smile

runningpink · 18/10/2020 20:44

I can recommend the Costco wrapping paper. Massive rolls with different patterns on both sides and the paper is nice and thick.
My roll lasted a few years, it just goes on and on!

It’s ok but not amazing imo. I use brown paper with nice ribbons etc.

@TheWildWoods would this be any good?

RJnomore1 · 18/10/2020 20:51

@GazingAndGrazing I can recommend these:
www.lisaangel.co.uk/iridescent-tassel-make-up-bag-in-grey

I got them in the sale last time and they are lovely and great value at the price. I got a pink and a grey I think for both my girls.

I wonder if this thread has anything to do with this guardian article on the popularity of the Oodie 😂

dancemom · 18/10/2020 20:55

@NoWordForFluffy thanks for the Ryman tip, thats presents for my BIL and friend sorted

CarrotVan · 18/10/2020 20:56

@TheWildWoods try Tkmaxx. I’ve picked up a fair few DK books there. Also the excellent Miles Kelly encyclopaedias of dinosaurs/space/animals etc

UselessInDisguise · 18/10/2020 20:57

Thanks @GazingAndGrazing, most of the clearance stuff has gone now. I spend a fortune st argos, I live very close to one, so it's a mystery to me why I never seem to get sent these vouchers! Ah well.

coffeetofunction · 18/10/2020 20:59

Rex London has some amazing bargains and great prices stocking fillers. I know it's mentioned every year, I think this year it has some great savings in the sale section. It free delivery over £30 which may seem alot but I found it very easy to get lots of bargain stocking fillers. Hopefully I won't be disappointed
