NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@CompleteBarstool

What sort of activities will he be wanting to track?
I’d say get a Garmin watch. Depending what he will use it for the Forerunner 235 is great.
Garmin watches usually go on offer around Black Friday so perhaps set a camel alert for Amazon.

Brashopper · 18/10/2020 13:45

@noodledoodler, the Hotel Chocolat sachets are just grated chocolate. The person who receives the Velvitiser in France can use any chocolate they like.

livinginhope87 · 18/10/2020 13:45

Thank you for all the very helpful advice, I am going to show her the sprocket and see what she thinks. I think she will still be keen on the camera (which I think mainly will be used inside so hopefully less temperamental).

eitak22 · 18/10/2020 13:48

Meant to say the bubble tea suggestion was great and I'm enjoying one as we speak!

GazingAndGrazing · 18/10/2020 13:48

@XiCi

Theres a sale on at Molton Brown but it's quite hard to find. If you search for silver birch you then see a grey box above which says exclusive private sale. Theres quite alot in there, got a couple of pressies and a shower gel for myself. Also got offered free fragrance sample and free gift box at checkout.
Oh thank you, 3 gifts for £36 delivered. I’ll add my 10% referral code to the referral thread.
recklessgran · 18/10/2020 13:53

@dizzygirl1 this one was recommended several threads ago by someone - it's sitting in my wish list!

myhobbyisouting · 18/10/2020 14:11

@Isadora2007

How's this for logic? I had added £9 of items to my basket. Free delivery code doesn't work so I spend another £9 to make the delivery charge "worth it" Confused

I've got some nice crumpled world maps coming though Grin

FoolShapeHeart · 18/10/2020 14:29

My local Works had the Santa comes to (your town) books reduced to £1, and a set of 3 mini Christmas rubber ducks for £2 accidentally fell in my basket too ☺

EvilHerbivore · 18/10/2020 14:32

Sale on some beauty bits at Very including some advent calendars
Think someone was looking for an inexpensive make up one for a teen?

NoWordForFluffy · 18/10/2020 14:48
@NoWordForFluffy I also like the b&m and home bargains opposite Sainsbury's on Jennifer Avenue. Both big stores with lots of choice :) not good for my bank balance though!
Don't say that! I'll be broke once I've been!

Shufflebumnessie · 18/10/2020 14:55

Playmobil have 20% off their Ghostbuster range. It's on the actual Playmobil website. No code as it's already maked down.

HarryBob · 18/10/2020 15:12

Couldn't see this one mentioned on the thread - Ben Sherman website has buy one item get one for £1 on selected items. I just got a leather wallet and 3 pairs of smart socks for DH for £22 with free delivery

Lolly34h · 18/10/2020 15:16

Sylvanian families do they ever drop in price

anypossibleway · 18/10/2020 15:31

I’ve got a Boden £10 off a £30 spend if anyone can use it

liquiddiamonds · 18/10/2020 15:48

Thanks for the Ben Sherman tip @HarryBob. Just got DH a top and a wallet for £25 delivered!

Carrie76 · 18/10/2020 15:53

@Lolly34h there are some sylvanian offers on the entertainer website at the moment. Also TKMaxx usually has some on offer

villamariavintrapp · 18/10/2020 15:57

@dizzygirl1 I got a bamboo bath tray from Aldi a few weeks ago for about £10-12, think they've also got similar on groupon for about £15. Not sure about quality as it's a present to myself but has the wine glass holder/book space/etc..

Spam88 · 18/10/2020 15:59

DD has announced she'd like a zoo for Christmas. Any suggestions? She'll be 3.5. I saw argos have the playmobil one for £45 but the nearest to me is Coventry (I'm in South Wales...).

JingleCatJingle · 18/10/2020 16:05

@Shinystuff the gin making kit just changes the gin’s colour. You have to add gin to it to start with.
Cool idea though!
Lidl often have gin botanicals etc that you can use to liven up gin. Or lots of recipes out there to take cheap gin, add fruit/sugar and make good liqueur.

starlingsintheslipstream · 18/10/2020 16:08

Thanks for the Ben Sherman info HarryBob. Ds1 needs socks so I got 4 packs and free delivery. Smile

EvilHerbivore · 18/10/2020 16:10

Good deal on Paw Patrol cars

Thread 13 - the one where we compare buns, puppets and all that
XiCi · 18/10/2020 16:10

HarryBob that Ben Sherman deal is brilliant, thank you.

Elskerdeg · 18/10/2020 16:19

@Lolly34h
There were some in the Sainsbury's sale when I went today. Some kind of house, but I didn't take too much notice

KillZill · 18/10/2020 16:48

Thank you for the Ben Sherman offer!
I. Am. Done.

Apart from stocking bits and anything else that is too good to resist
Thank you to everyone thus far GinCake

luckiestgirl · 18/10/2020 16:55

@noodledoodler if you send the QVC velvetiser deal then it comes with two boxes of sachets (10 latte, 10 hot choc I think)
