@NoWordForFluffy I also like the b&m and home bargains opposite Sainsbury's on Jennifer Avenue. Both big stores with lots of choice :) not good for my bank balance though!

IggyAce · 18/10/2020 11:00

@lotusbell and @torthecatlady I’ve had to resist buying more socks as I’ve already got some from the sale, but I really like the look of the cabin socks.

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 18/10/2020 11:04

@Fancyateapottea and @steph2412 I also really like The Sticker Site for personalised Christmas stickers - they are currently offering 25% off a personalised letter from Father Christmas with code LETTER2020 as well.

@CompleteBarstool I think it depends what your budget is (ie: if any compatible smart watch will do, or if you're looking for an Apple or similar!) - if more high end then yes, Black Friday might be the way forward. Or if you know anyone with student/ blue light discounts, you could have a look through those to see if there's anything helpful?

XiCi · 18/10/2020 11:18

Theres a sale on at Molton Brown but it's quite hard to find. If you search for silver birch you then see a grey box above which says exclusive private sale. Theres quite alot in there, got a couple of pressies and a shower gel for myself. Also got offered free fragrance sample and free gift box at checkout.

weebarra · 18/10/2020 11:30

Harkel clothing have 40% off, including sale with STAR40. I've not shopping with them before but the stuff looks lovely.

Aurorie11 · 18/10/2020 11:35

Anyone want a code for Lakeland or Argos?

Lakeland - 20% off £75 spend expires on 21/10

Argos - £5 off £40 spend and £7 off £50 spend expires 18/11

PM me for codes

thaegumathteth · 18/10/2020 11:41

All those wanting a playroom. We have one - we'd had it about 3 years when my daughter said 'is it called a playroom because were mean to play in it?' And that'll tell you how much the living room did not become a toy free zone

ScarlettDarling · 18/10/2020 11:52

Free delivery on Victoria’s Secret tomorrow between 7-9pm, plus 20% off your order.

Autumnwoman · 18/10/2020 12:02

Does anyone know with the Cox and Cox referrals if you can use more than one referral with each order? I have one from here (thanks!) plus my Mum ordered something too, so I have £40 in two £20 credits.

Can I use the £40 in one transaction, or is it one code per transaction (which obviously makes postage unnecessarily expensive)?

JoHo123 · 18/10/2020 12:04

Could I have the Lakeland voucher please @Aurorie11. My mother in law is buying a gorgeous nativity advent for my family and another fur her daughter’s family. I signed up to MyLakelabd a while ago but have t had anything through. I’ll PM you now.

In return, I can offer 30% off MoonPig download app, code XTG4ZW3W

40% off full price at Lands’ End HD6S and RH2T

CompleteBarstool · 18/10/2020 12:07

@CompleteBarstool

Can anyone offer advice or point me in the right direction for smart watches please (must have GPS/be Strava compatible) .

Are there any sites you'd recommend (with bargainous prices or deals obviously Smile )?
Am I best waiting for Black Friday?

Sorry I should have added a budget....up to £130ish.

It's for DS and he'd prefer a brand really rather than some of the cheaper, unknown ones that do exactly the same (typical teen!)

myhobbyisouting · 18/10/2020 12:17

@Isadora2007 could you recheck the code please? Trying to check out on amnesty and it's not working

Isadora2007 · 18/10/2020 12:21

@myhobbyisouting sorry it’s for over £40 maybe that’s the issue? I have attached the screenshot of the offer here too.

Thread 13 - the one where we compare buns, puppets and all that
myhobbyisouting · 18/10/2020 12:44

Oh yes, thanks. That will be the problem! Never mind...but now I really want the order. Haha

myhobbyisouting · 18/10/2020 12:53

Does anyone know the dimensions of the Aldi theatre? I can't find them and we were planning to make one of our own but I'm tempted

PinkDaydreams · 18/10/2020 12:53

Can anyone help me with what those things are called that you use to write over your name and address or any other personal information please? I'm after one as a stocking filler for DH as he always rips up addresses into confetti so I stamper thing would be good for him. Thank you!

Trumpton · 18/10/2020 13:02

@PinkDaydreams
I just searched Security Roller Stamp on eBay and got loads .

AHintOfStyle · 18/10/2020 13:06

Great thanks!
PinkDaydreams · 18/10/2020 13:06

Perfect thank you! I was trying address confidential and obviously didn't come up with much!!

noodledoodler · 18/10/2020 13:21

If I send a velvetiser as a gift to France, how easy is it to get the chocolate sachets there? I see amazon uk does not deliver them for example?

dizzygirl1 · 18/10/2020 13:26

Does anyone have a good suggestion for a bath tray. I'm thinking of making a pamper box for me and my dcs for Christmas and would like to have a bath tray to add to it. Any other suggested additions welcome!

XFPW · 18/10/2020 13:33

@CompleteBarstool not sure what sport your DS does, but I will say that there is a reason if you stand at the start line of a road race or cross country meet, the vast majority of runners will have Garmins. Their functionality is excellent, battery life is brilliant (I charge my forerunner 35 about every 7-10 days) and I’ve had really good customer service from them in the past too.

With a budget of £130 I’d recommend the forerunner 35 and you’ll save money. I have one as does teen DS. I am an intermittent runner so currently benefit more from the notifications functionality than anything else, but DS runs about 25-30k a week and so he benefits more from the sports side of things and we both love it.

It has definitely come down in price recently, and was a good deal on prime day last week at around the £80 I think. That’s a total bargain IMHO. Going by recent prices I’d happily pay £100-£110 for it

ThePurpleGirl · 18/10/2020 13:41

I had an email at just gone 12pm from IWOOT with a discount if 22% which drops by 1% each hour, so presumably is currently 21%. Code is DECLINE.
It doesn't seem to apply to anything I want so not sure what it works on but hopefully will be of help to somebody!
