NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@4minions2CallMyOwn You are very welcome. Did you book? Grin

@Lockdownhairdontcare Boden will have Christmas cardigans, I remember seeing them in preview earlier this year. Definitely up to 11-12, possibly bigger. Should be coming any day now.

EvilHerbivore · 07/10/2020 11:16

@Lockdownhairdontcare I was also going to say Boden
This is the one they did last year (and on eBay now if you were ok with second hand)

I’m looking for a decent quality, but easy to store, air hockey table for DD. Can anyone recommend one that works well?

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/10/2020 11:29

I got a Boden brochure yesterday with a £10 voucher on the back. Will have a look and if nothing I want will offer it. .
Just thought I'd mention it on case you miss it

@lifelongfrugaleer that would be great ❤️. Thank you x

Purpleheadgirl · 07/10/2020 11:59

converse have a 50%off sale

thelegohooverer · 07/10/2020 12:07

@Penguinbeaver and @Lockdownhairdontcare
I see your sorted with Boden, but your predicament made me think of these decorate your own jumper kits that I’ve seen in previous years in places like the Works and Poundland. Also useful if you don’t get the wear out of Christmas jumpers to justify a new one every year. They’re not in stock yet but tend to turn up in November

Got all excited thinking there might be a £10 voucher in the boden catalogue I received yesterday but no such luck!

Frugi have some lovely xmas dog bandanas for 2.40 each in their sale

doublemix · 07/10/2020 12:20

Mias treehouse is no longer available would have been ideal for my neice hopefully it will come back in stock

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 07/10/2020 12:28

@PinkDaydreams The Range had Milkybar advent calendars today, I bought one for DS1!

Thank you for the Turtle Doves info @lexloofah, I'm annoyed that I missed the 30% offer but was very skint pre-payday Sad I'll probably hang on and see if they do a better offer pre-Christmas, maybe Black Friday. They have offered 10% off to new customers or £10 off their fingerless gloves, but with the £10 off you can't choose the colour, and MIL only wears pastels. Sod's law I'd end up with something bright that she wouldn't like...

Junobug · 07/10/2020 12:30

@PinkDaydreams I'm pretty sure Wilkos had milkybar selection boxes last year as I toyed with getting one but decided on a bumper bag of small packs instead.

Oreocrumbs · 07/10/2020 12:37

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl I was looking at the turtle doves Facebook page and lots of people had commented about that offer on the fingerless gloves and not being able to choose the colour. All comments had a reply saying they will make a note of their preference, or just to send a message and they will pick something that you want. Might be worth looking them up and sending a message to check if they would be able to send you a pastel shade for MIL if you want to use that offer.

Lambkin14 · 07/10/2020 12:51

@WaitWhatOh thank you for the Craghoppers code - just ordered myself a new coat for £37.50! Bargain

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 07/10/2020 12:56

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl Both times I have ordered from turtledoves I have emailed my preference, once for an elderly aunt who wouldn't wear anything 'garish' so asked for a neutral tone. The 2nd time I was a bit more bold and asked for something from the blue pallet to match my new coat. Both times I had an email back saying they couldn't guarantee but had added a note, but both times I got exactly what I would have chosen Smile

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 07/10/2020 13:00

Blue pallet Grin Blue palette even!

TheSeedsOfADream · 07/10/2020 13:15

My Covid family decoration arrived today. It is what it is, and I'm not going to quibble as it is for a laugh, but the numbers show 02 instead of 20 for the year. Hmm

mummymilkfloat · 07/10/2020 13:22

@doublemix
They’ve got it in Tesco too if that’s any use?

Reluctantly jumping on board as I cant deny any longer that Christmas is approaching.

Thanks for IWOOT tip off - just ordered sweatshirts for the kids and a few stocking fillers.

Re Fortnum and Mason - does anyone know if they ever do sales or discounts? My sister is in the US and cant come home this year so I want to send her a hamper of posh treats to cheer her up.

Purpleheadgirl · 07/10/2020 13:28

@TheSeedsOfADream is that the one from amazon? Isn't the toilet roll meant to be the last 0 in 2020?
