NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Ok seeing as everyone's been a fountain of knowledge so far I'm struggling with stocking type gifts for my 8 month old (will be 11 months by Christmas). We have everything really but his big brother will notice if he has more than him and it's 'unfair'.
Any suggestions for things to level it a bit?

Twilightstarbright · 03/10/2020 13:35

Was there a Penhaligon's code please?

WickedEmoji · 03/10/2020 13:35

Morning, thanks for the new thread.

Has anyone seen any bargains on Starbucks gift vouchers? I don't even know if that is a thing! Grin

PinkJam · 03/10/2020 13:36

SingaporeSlinky · 03/10/2020 13:37

I got one from ASDA mid Nov last year. Struggled to find any decent ones prior to that.

Just reposting as I posted this near the end of the last one.

Had a delivery from boden today and there was a leaflet with 2 15% off at cult beauty, hope image attaches.

Also I had a one off code for 20% off new season at boden, can pm to anyone that would like it.

Thanks for the new thread and also to everyone for the great bargains posted so far. 😊

@Givealittlebit DS was 14 months old last Christmas and I got him some Happyland figures for his stocking. They do lots of different ones from animals to pirates and fairy tale sets.

His particular favourite is the Red Riding Hood set with a little half house that plays sounds. The ELC has a sale on with 20% but use code SAVEMORE to get £10 off £60 spend or £20 off £100.

Bath toys are a great stocking filler too. DS is obsessed with balloons so some Christmas themed ones might be fun for both boys.

For slightly older kids (2+) Baker Ross has great stocking fillers and Christmas and Halloween crafts. Pack of 4 kaleidoscopes for £4, santa rubber ducks, squirty dinosaurs, Christmas punching balloons and racing reindeers. They have free delivery over £29 with code FREEDEL

Just a consideration... If there's concern over how fast these threads are moving, why not allow previous threads to actually be used after the new thread link is posted, rather than filling up the final 20-odd posts with random words and lyrics? Then everyone worries that people have moved over to the new thread, so reposts bargains on the new one (understandably).

We are probably wasting up to 50 posts per thread by doing that.

MrsLeclerc · 03/10/2020 14:03

@Shitfuckoh I’ve been keeping my eye out in Asda but they don’t have them out in the toddler bed range yet. Really hoping they have some this year.

If not I can see myself mangling a single set through my sewing machine! Grin My skills leave much to be desired.

tabbycat985 · 03/10/2020 14:07

@NewBabyJoy Fabulous gift set, thank you!

@Givealittlebit How about some mini books you could always take out of the box? These Disney Board Books are down to £6

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1503721760/ref=cmswwrcppawdbbtfft1DwhEFb2SK75WH

Did anyone else have an issue with any of their bun kits arriving squashed?
I'm debating complaining to Amazon but seems a bit silly when they were only a couple of pounds but I definitely can't gift them🤦🏼‍♀️

runningpink · 03/10/2020 14:08

@BeGoneDom

I would suggest bubbles, tattoos, seeds which you can plant for the spring, stickers

RubySlippers77 · 03/10/2020 14:14

@MrsLeclerc Dunelm has Christmas bedding in cot bed sizes!

Christmascaker · 03/10/2020 14:14

@AmIReallyThough I loved the running torch I got last year for Christmas!

Also, ordered from lush recently, can’t say the packaging was particularly gift worthy! I think it would be fine if you were giving everything to one person. It came in a brown box sectioned off for each item and filled with packaging peanuts.

MrsLeclerc · 03/10/2020 14:19

@RubySlippers77 Thank you. So hard to find cot bed size!

AdamantEve · 03/10/2020 14:29

£10.00 off London Sock Company using code

O20M2YFL

No minimum spend but there is a postage charge. Don’t know if single use or not, but I won’t use it.

TheGirlWhoLived · 03/10/2020 14:30

Oooh thanks for the MasterCard banner!
I popped 3x Lindt truffle balls in my basket for £3.50 each making £10.50 and it took off my £10 straight away making 50p for 600g Grin

Lovemusic33 · 03/10/2020 14:30

Just joining the thread, have been putting off buying anything yet but made my first random Christmas purchase last week. Bought 3 cuddly dinosaurs from groupon for £14.99 (ish), going to split them to give to nieces and nephews. I have a few small children to buy for but don’t want to spend a fortune as there parents don’t buy for my dc so I thought a £5 dinosaur and some chocolate will be plenty?

I think now I have started I will try and buy a few items a week but won’t be doing my dc’s gifts until November/December as they don’t know what they want.

1stTimeMama · 03/10/2020 14:33

I always out Xmas pj's in the Christmas Eve box, but this year my son said he wondered if the Elves might bring Christmas onsies, as they hadn't had those yet. So, I need matching onsies for 5months, 4,6,7 and 11yr olds. Has anyone seen any? I only seem to come up with actual pj's when I search.
