NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@anonymouse86

Hi,

Someone mentioned yesterday the Morrison's half price toy event was supposed to be starting today. There's nothing on their website but I'm sure someone also mentioned it can go online the day after it starts in store. If anyone happens to be in Morrison's today will they post whether it's started please? My nearest ones a 30min drive away.

Thanks.

@anonymouse86 read this.

I don't suppose anyone has seen any milky bar selection boxes please? I've tried Sainsbury's, Asda, home bargains and b&m but can't find them

FilthyforFirth · 07/10/2020 09:17

Thanks for the Tinyme offer @bluebell9. I was waiting, got impatient and on Monday recieved my order at full price, gah!

Just ordered 48 more for the bargain price of £4 though so hopefully enough to last next year too...
@Vebrithien I dont suppose you make 3D printing to order 🤔 im currently searching for someone to make me something via ebay/etsy!
Sadly not @woodwaj, the 3D printer is DH's baby, and whilst I can turn it on and off, I wouldn't have the first clue about operating it!!

What do you want printed? (Just being nosey now, you don't have to say!)

buckeejit · 07/10/2020 09:29

@Sunshineskies my recs would be an electric hot water bottle or a perfume society box, (you get a box for joining or can pick others. It's like a nice selection. Box of perfumes. I'm off to buy some now for Christmas gifts

woodwaj · 07/10/2020 09:30

The company are coming to pick it up so I hope it'll be winging it's way to you very soon.

Vebrithien · 07/10/2020 09:39

I made a special trip to B&M and Home Bargains yesterday, was feeling a bit low and needed to see some Christmas sparkles!

B&M had these little Christmas hand sanitizer, for 99p each, and the little bottle could be replaced for future years.

Home Bargains had "Christmas hand wash and hand care kits (hand cream and a nail file) for 99p each*.

Home Bargains also had the Radox "Scenting you to sleep" set for £4.99 (between £8.00 and £12.99 elsewhere) and the cutest little reindeer microwave hottie for £4.99. DD loved the microwave hotties, for bedtime in the winter, and I love them as you can heat them not too hot, and there isn't the worry of boiling water, like in a hot water bottle.

I was looking for some hot chocolate stirrers. They seem pretty expensive at most places, about £3 each. Then I cam acess a website called Discount Coffee that's pretty cheap. Has anyone used them before please? Are they legit?

I8toys · 07/10/2020 09:49

@thebrightestcoloursfillmyhead

Well now I need a milk frother in my life. We've used a stove top coffee pot for years... how have I never thought of putting frothed milk on top for a latte?

Can anyone recommend something to mount an iPad in the car so both kids can see it? I've seen some on amazon that mount between the front headrests so it's central for viewing by both passengers in the back but, as ever with Amazon, for every good review there's also a poor one. Would much rather buy something recommended by someone here. We're off on our first holiday in 5 years at half term, driving to the Netherlands, and my kids (almost 6 and almost 3) aren't used to long journeys. I'm hoping if I can find something that works it'll avoid a lot of back seat squabbles and many "are we nearly there yet?" questions. Thanks.

I got a milk frother from Aldi, it's identical to the Nespresso one that's £50 but it cost £16. It's amazing and life changing!
Bert2020 · 07/10/2020 10:06

@PinkDaydreams they had milkybar in my b&m yesterday, so worth checking again.

Cheap Mud House Sauv Blanc

If anyone wants to stock up on booze, I’ve just popped a code for £10 off at Cellar One on the referrals thread.
There’s some nice whites and prosecco on there including Mud House Sauvignon Blanc which is £39 for six bottles (but down to £29 with the £10 off)
Works out to be about £4.83 a bottle which isn’t bad as it’s £8/9 a go in the supermarket! Free delivery too.

You need sign up then the £10 is automatically added to your account. When you checkout there is an option to ‘use cellar pounds’ or something similar.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 07/10/2020 10:17

20% off look fantastic with code NEWBIE. Need to create a new account but needed Bobbi Brown and best deal around.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 07/10/2020 10:22

Help!

DD won’t wear a Christmas jumper, always loved a Christmas cardigan but now needing age 9yrs there don’t seem to be any around. Has anyone seen a Christmas cardigan on their travels? Xmas Smile

Penguinbeaver · 07/10/2020 10:35

lockdownhairdontcare I'm in a similar predicament so thinking a nice red or gold sparkly Cardigan with a light up sparkly badge

JinglesWish · 07/10/2020 10:37

@Vebrithien thanks, my DC will like those hotties. Will have a search at Home Bargains later. I don’t think I’m near a B&M, so will have to have a look to find my nearest one

Lockdownhairdontcare · 07/10/2020 10:44

@Penguinbeaver that’s a great idea. Could order a few badges to mix it up.

deeplybaffled · 07/10/2020 10:45

Frugi have one of their frenzies in their website today - up to
70% off on some stuff but some going out of stock very quickly

JustanotherTuesday · 07/10/2020 10:46

@Looking4wards If you can get to The Range, they have chocolate stirrers for £1 .

Serenity25 · 07/10/2020 10:56

Lakeland code if anyone needs one.
