Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

The frozen Lego canoe set is down to £13.50 on amazon .... has been about £18.....

Does anyone have a recommendation for a child’s microphone / CD player with microphone ?

tiddledpink · 23/09/2020 06:21

Argos have up to 1/3 off selected toys this morning, i have managed to find a few bits half price that were on the list anyway.

Fortnite batte fort / Cars diecast vehicles.

They also still have double nectar points on all purchases up to 28th September.

We got the one below recently and it's fantastic. DD (4) loves it and uses it loads. You can connect it to a speaker, use it to sing with digital music and it has everything in one including speaker and lights.

Previously had the Vtech Kidi super star and it was rubbish to tell the truth (and 5 x more expensive) as had too many options and games, plus auto switches off if you are not pressing buttons even if you are mid song (which reminds me I need to sell it to make room).

@PinkDaydreams we bought lap trays with legs from IKEA which fold down. DS uses them for Lego.

Ivebeengood · 23/09/2020 06:57

If you’re at M&S hunting down gin, these were reduced from £5 to £2.50, but scanned at 20p. Date of October 2020. I was buying for a gift, but went back for a few more... I also got gin.

This was the M&S at Manchester Fort.

@Fuckingfuckssake

Looking for a freestanding basketball hoop, nothing second hand going near me, any other bright ideas please?
I got one from Smyths a couple of years ago still going strong
Ivebeengood · 23/09/2020 07:13

Has anyone got any recommendations for little cars for a one year old? I’ve bought a toy table with a road map scene and wanted to get cars to go with it, but wasn’t too sure which cars to buy - there’s so much choice.

On another note - is anyone having issues with the F&M website? Each one I try and look at their hampers it says there’s 90 results but the page is blank. It’s been like this since they updated their website.

Thanks.

allatonce99 · 23/09/2020 07:15

Argos have reduced prices again on some toys, up to a third off! Just got the Duplo Plane for £12.75. Not a CC best price but pretty close!

JinglesWish · 23/09/2020 07:22

Great price on this Jurassic World Colossal T-Rex. It’s also dropped to £35 at Argos (from £70)

@Ivebeengood i found the toot toot cars are really good, they are toddler proof, good quality, no small bits and a nice size for 1 year old to play with, my ds still plays with his and hes 3 and we got them second hand.

Just maybe dont put batteries in them the singing is annoying! Especially when child learns to turn them on after you turned them off 🤦‍♀️😂
