Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.

A previous poster shared a rocks and fossils site, maybe 2 threads ago?

Would be very grateful if anybody remembers! You could choose each specific fossil (it wasn't a set) in case that helps, thanks.

Has anybody seen any bargains on nice soaps? Crabtree and Evelyn was always good and had really good Christmas offers, but they've gone all modern and don't sell bars of soap any more.

Yeknom · 23/09/2020 14:45

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams I've always bought bars of soap from TK MAXX

Spam88 · 23/09/2020 14:46

@Fuckingfuckssake it's £10 off a £50 spend if that's of any use? I use the Mumsnet app though and don't think I can DM..?

Raindancer411 · 23/09/2020 14:47

@thelegohooverer Not sure if any of these are what you were looking for? Or a more child play version?

Someone posted this last year and it seems that they have a similar deal this year jewel unique SILVER75 takes 80% off and you get free infinity stud earrings.

medicalfish · 23/09/2020 14:57

DD is after the Rex set from Paw Patrol, which is only available from Smyths. Any codes/offers? £20 is a lot for a hunk of plastic.

sorryiasked · 23/09/2020 15:01

@thelegohooverer there are a couple of options on Amazon, neither very attractive but at least cheap!
Have you tried aliexpress?

Thanks Seeds

I didn't get the advent calendar but got the free handcream, matching handwash for £10, discovery box after the rain and after the rain diffuser and candle for my mum at £64. Bargain.

TheSeedsOfADream · 23/09/2020 15:29

Lovely! Love After the Rain.

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams, you can pick up Crabtree & Evelyn, Woods of Windsor and the other one I can never remember, on Amazon. The 3 soap boxes etc. I might stockpile nearer to Christmas as love nice bars of soap. Allbeauty do boxes of Roger and Gallett and Bronnley too and often have offers.
Nesti Dante get put on offer often on Look Fantastic etc. (They are nice enough, but enormous bars and the fragrance imo doesn't linger)

thelegohooverer · 23/09/2020 15:40

@sorryiasked thank you. You’re obviously much better at searching amazon than I am!

@Raindancer411 I’m intriguedGrin

Tiggles · 23/09/2020 15:46

@cactusforever it isn't the site previously talked about, but if you are on Facebook check out jurassic Jim (from Isle of wight). He is forever posting bargains on his page or if you send him a message of what you would like he sorts it out for you. The only thing to be aware of is he tends to post monthly (we all sit there making up piles of bargains through the month and he posts in one go) so tell him if you want it posted straight away.

Fuckingfuckssake · 23/09/2020 15:49

@Spamm88 thank you but I've bought it now, only £23 with free delivery, plus TCB has 5% cashback and a £2.50 bonus! It's only a small one, but I'm figuring we can just raise it up onto something when the time comes.

TheGriffle · 23/09/2020 15:54

I’ve relented and bought the giant piece of crap that is the lol amazing surprise. Dd didn’t have a ‘big’ present so this fits the bill and technically it’s a bargain. She’ll probably never play with any of it past Christmas day but hey ho.

CactusForever · 23/09/2020 15:55

Perfect @Tiggles, thank you! Such great prices :)

Lockdownhairdontcare · 23/09/2020 16:06

Has anyone seen a dinosaur onesie? Needs to be super soft, age 14/15 and preferably green. DN has autism and has declared this is what he would like from us for Christmas. 🦖

Martinisarebetterdirty · 23/09/2020 16:21

@Lockdownhairdontcare the natural history museum have one but only in an adult medium or large so depends how it sizes. It’s also £35 but does say super soft.

Putmynewshoeson · 23/09/2020 16:23

Hello everyone! Great thread. I'm trying to find some presents for a one year old little boy but am stumped as to what will be suitable/appreciated.

I've got some catalogues in the porch so will have a look and see if there are any voucher codes I can share with you

Lockdownlumpy · 23/09/2020 16:25

My boy loved happyland and wow toys vehicles at that age.

YourHandInMyHand · 23/09/2020 16:32

@Lurleene ah I'm glad you like the Crafty Giraffe items. That's ace they customised one for you like that! Smile Mine also arrived a few days ago and I love them. One is for our family dog on our tree, and one is for my mum for her dog who she's madly in love with. Grin

Penguinbeaver · 23/09/2020 16:36

Just thinking of postal gifts given the state of things and wondered if anyone could recommend a cheese hamper for delivery site? Thinking that would tick a few people off without the hassle of physical gifts to post. Thanks also EXTRA15 gets 15% off at Millets.

JinglesWish · 23/09/2020 16:37

I need the buns 😂 I nearly got sucked into buying puppets...total herd mentality lol

PinkJam · 23/09/2020 16:44

Build a Bear have an offer on for £5 off £25, £8 off £40 or £15 off £55 with code: SAVEMORE

Scanner20 · 23/09/2020 16:44
