Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@22Giraffes I know how you feel. I brought my mum a card purse from accessorize, I know I did. It's yellow. I put it in the back bedroom. But can I find it 🙄

WisestIsShe · 23/09/2020 12:50

@covidmonkey me too. DD wants the Minecraft Lego creeper set. Which set are you looking for?

recklessgran · 23/09/2020 13:03

Anyone thinking of ordering from Matalan I'd hold fire. I've received a snailmail catalogue from them with the usual 5 off 25, 10 off 50 and 15 off 75 on the back valid from 24th Sep to 7th Oct. I'm assuming the e-mail version will follow overnight. Obviously I'll post the codes I don't need here once I've placed my order. [Some lovely stuff in their Christmas shop].

Fuckingfuckssake · 23/09/2020 13:03

Thank you to all the suggestions re a basketball hoop, I've found one on Wayfair! Does anyone know if they do a referral scheme?

covidmonkey · 23/09/2020 13:03

@WisestIsShe He likes the illagar raid set.

Spam88 · 23/09/2020 13:07

They do @Fuckingfuckssake. I just set up accounts with two different email addresses to use it 😬

@Spam88

They do *@Fuckingfuckssake*. I just set up accounts with two different email addresses to use it 😬
I can't find anything online about how to do it? Can you refer me? Either pop a link on the referral thread or pm me, thank you.
Memo7 · 23/09/2020 13:16

Sparkle play doh is back down to £4.99 on Amazon. I bought a set a few weeks ago and am really pleased with it for DD.

UselessInDisguise · 23/09/2020 13:17

Cinnamon buns back to £3.08 yummy buns

Clementine8 · 23/09/2020 13:17

I got 2 lego sets ticked off Christmas lists today from argos. Some brilliant prices.

@PinkDaydreams i love those crates. We do a december box rather than an xmas eve box too. I like to have our xmas pjs for all of december.

Yeknom · 23/09/2020 13:28

Cinnamon buns are the new puppets!!!

PowerslidePanda · 23/09/2020 13:40

The latest resident of my house is a large cuddly dinosaur from Dunelm! It was £10, but I would've expected to pay at least double that for a toy of its size (it's bigger than my 11 month DTs!) Banana in the photos to show scale.

I need to find a baby for our dollhouse

dd reminded me of some rash promises I may have made under the influence of bargain Bailey’s last year so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to hold you lot partly responsible! Smile

It needs to a fairly realistic 1:12 baby as it’s a Victorian style house, not the chunky wooden kind. My eyes are just watering at the costs.

Does anyone know of any remotely reasonably priced teeny babies?

Mumto3thatsme · 23/09/2020 13:51

@UselessInDisguise

Cinnamon buns back to £3.08 ]]
This is going to be the new puppets...back up in price now 😂
margaritasbythesea · 23/09/2020 13:52

Cinnmaon buns out of stock again. It's going to be the 'puppet' of this thread...

margaritasbythesea · 23/09/2020 13:55

Cross post Mumto3!

UselessInDisguise · 23/09/2020 13:57

Sorry 😬

UselessInDisguise · 23/09/2020 13:58

If it helps I didn't get the puppets 😂

Puffalicious · 23/09/2020 14:06

Hi everyone I'm new to Christmas threads, so delighted to find this one. I have 3 DS all boys teen-age 8 so great to find bargains. I've already gone a bit mad on toysforapound for my classroom prizes. Brilliant- will be sharing with everyone. Thanks.

Puffalicious · 23/09/2020 14:08

I'm off to Argos for Lego. I 💜this thread!

Wtfdidwedo · 23/09/2020 14:14

I also had the Matalan vouchers through, I normally end up getting the ones for the person who lived in the house previously too! But I think they have to be used with your card.

16" Squishmallows are £9 in Costco for those who are members.

SweetPeaPods · 23/09/2020 14:17

Wow just found you guys and already on thread 7!
It's DS2s birthday next week then I really need to get my act together. Normally much more organised than this. Anyway quick hi and then I'm off to catch up on all your posts before I repeat something that's already been mentioned.
Gutted that Smyths aren't doing their deal this year and I need another switch so any deals send my way please!!

TheSeedsOfADream · 23/09/2020 14:30

If anyone is interested in Arran (Sense of Scotland) bath stuff etc:
I wanted the advent calendar which is £50.
If you spend £50 there is a free full sized hand cream which is usually £15.
There's also 20% off for new customers with NEWCUSTOMER20.
Now, initially it didn't take the discount off. It told me it wasn't valid. I guessed because I had an advent calendar and often they aren't discounted.
But, I added 2 X £10 discovery sets for stocking fillers and extras thinking maybe the code would work. And it took the 20% off everything at that point. So for £56 I have about £180 worth of stuff. Grin

TheSeedsOfADream · 23/09/2020 14:30

And it's lovely stuff.

Carrie76 · 23/09/2020 14:34

@mummyof2boys30 we have the out for lunch Flasks and they’re brilliant
