Thank you @nickdrakeslovechild for thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

The 3rd gen echo dot is £29.99 or £34.99 with a clock.... Is it worth buying now or waiting for black Friday? I want 1 one each! A basic one for me and the clock for teenage DD. Just wondering whether it's worth waiting?

superstar84 · 27/08/2020 09:33

The echo's won't usually go cheaper than that

We got ds the clock one and it's never gone below £35

@TheGirlWhoLived

I’m getting totally stuck with dd2... dd1 I think we’re settled on a kids kindle for her main gift - I’ve seen it at £74.99 but I’m greedy and want it lower on Black Friday! Dd2 is 6 and wants a toy kitchen!? Think I’ve seen one that would be tall enough for her it’s ]] currently £208 and don’t want to be paying more than £200, ideally about £190 max!
smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0015YT88A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_d-2rFbWZ9642Y smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01C49MCEQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_M.2rFbAREQX47 Both of these look quite large and a bit cheaper? We like Kidkraft stuff. Costco is always good for larger toy kitchens and sets if you have one anywhere near.
Rosie2000 · 27/08/2020 09:40

Urban Outfitters have an extra 20% off sale items. Some nice hair clips/scrunches etc for stocking fillers. Got my dd a cropped jacket- very useful in the rain Hmm

NeverSurrender · 27/08/2020 09:44

Soo finally started my Xmas shopping! Thanks for the Lego space ship bargain, ds will be happy!

NoWordForFluffy · 27/08/2020 09:48

@TheGirlWhoLived, have you looked at Wayfair? They have a good range of cheaper kitchens which may fit the bill.

It was 99p last October, but you paid £7.00 for one month's Amazon music.

I'd maybe hang on incase they do it again.

DaisyChops · 27/08/2020 09:54

Hi, would also recommend Costco for the wooden kitchens but I went earlier this week and none in store yet. I ordered mine from Costco online as someone warned me how heavy they were and advised me to get delivery.

Also, orange dino egg is fab, but a LOT of plastic to go in the bin at the end!! There is a new blue egg out, I got this from the entertainer for £16 as on offer at £20 and I randomly got a 20% discount email for my child's birthday in a weeks time....it isn't...but I still used the code guilt free! Also the dinosaur that crack and poos the little eggs was £15 so got that for £12 to go with it.

VacMan · 27/08/2020 09:54

That was without the clock.

Badassmama · 27/08/2020 09:55

Hey! Love these threads! I might’ve missed it but anyone got tips for vTech Toot Toot Drivers?

MsMiaWallace · 27/08/2020 10:07

Are the Hype lucky bags worth it?
Anyone that's ordered one what did you get?

Thegirlhasnoname · 27/08/2020 10:12

H&M have 20% off kids clothes for members (have to spend £40 though)

PinkDaydreams · 27/08/2020 10:53

@lexloofah that one looks lovely! I’m not so sure on accuracy though, that’s what I found last year anyway reading reviews.
@JoHo123 can I ask, does the outside but have to be attached high up, as in a very tall ladder needed to fit it please? Or can it go at a more reachable height?

mrsdaz · 27/08/2020 11:07

Thanks to the person who put the iron man VR headset on..just ordered two for gifts!

Shufflebumnessie · 27/08/2020 11:08

@eastmidswarwicknightnanny

That smasher egg is already back upto £18 will keep an eye as my youngest would love it for his 6th bday in Nov
It was back at £10.99 this morning. I ordered 2. We're going to be drowning in smashers on Christmas day!
Lemming20 · 27/08/2020 11:10

In relation to the Echo Dot I got one for a fiver the other day if you purchased 2 months of amazon music. Didn’t need the music but it still meant the Dot was £23 so could possibly be some other similar deals to come?x

CosmicVagina · 27/08/2020 11:25

The Japanese Gift Shop have a 20% off sale. There are some trinkets but also vintage/antique sill Kimono's from around £80 which look beautiful and might be good for somebody hard to buy for. You also get a free paper crane and I think they have a wrapping service.

CosmicVagina · 27/08/2020 11:29

We have the Asda toy kitchen and its great

TheSeedsOfADream · 27/08/2020 11:31

Hello lovelies. Had my monthly namechange.
The parcels are arriving thick and fast Grin
Can I just recommend World of Books? I just received a package and the Christmas cookbook I got for £2.99 is absolutely brand spanking new. You'd never know it was second hand.

Smileatthesmallthings · 27/08/2020 11:47

Got an email from Cult Beauty about a free 20 piece goody bag worth £270 when you spend £150. Thought it could be great for anyone looking to do a DIY advent calendar if you were going to spend that much anyway.

TenCornMaidens · 27/08/2020 11:53

If you like Korean beauty products like sheet masks, I recommend RoseRoseShop for MUCH cheaper products. Longer shipping as it comes from Korea but... we have time.

Acunningruse · 27/08/2020 11:56

Any Frozen 2 fans, Wilko have mugs, pens, cups and mini puzzles reduced to 50-75p

pinkdaydreams oh I hope it is ok, quite like the idea of him hunched over it like Mystic Meg! Will bookmark the weather station for next year

UselessInDisguise · 27/08/2020 12:01

My DP parcel has just arrived. The pink Floral scarf with little tassles on is just lovely and at £1.80 with free express delivery just ridiculous!! Thanks for the tip

mummyof4kids · 27/08/2020 12:11

My dd is desperate for the Barbie dream house. It's expensive so I can't see it bring reduced by much but if anyone sees it on sale I'd be grateful 😊
