Thank you @nickdrakeslovechild for thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@BighouseLittlemouse the Fujifilm instax ones are good but honestly I wouldn't for a 6 year old. The films work out £1 each and they're far more easily under/overexposed than digital cameras. What about a digital camera plus a little photo printer?

ranoutofquinoaandprosecco · 26/08/2020 22:48

Ooh can I join. I'm just getting my gift lists ready, I've a number of birthdays before Xmas as well!

Love Xmas, I do advents usually look fantastic for me and then bits and bobs for the kids and beer and snacks for DH. Xmas eve new pjs all round. Then stockings and gifts!

My 2 DCs do their lists for Santa at half term as otherwise they change their minds too much!

Crackery · 26/08/2020 22:58

That thread title! Ooft my eyes!!

Rockhopper81 · 26/08/2020 22:58

Had never heard of Neon Sheep, but have just spent £35 on sale items from there - thank you for the heads up! Grin

Crackery · 26/08/2020 22:59

Dd loved Neon sheep this summer. There's a big one at the Gretna Outlet village.

Ciunasbotharcailinbainne · 26/08/2020 23:00

@CottonHeadedNinnyMug what was the weighted blanket recommendation? Just looked through this thread and the referral one but can’t see it. Would you mind sharing the post or the link? Thanks

KavvLar · 26/08/2020 23:01

Not a bargain as such, but for anyone in search of a Nintendo Switch - Currys PC world have them in stock. Not sure why but they have them in quite often www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and-home-entertainment/gaming/gaming-consoles/nintendo-switch-neon-red-blue-10163022-pdt.html?awc=1599_1598478987_5aa871590c370450fbe9a5ab501a3f2d&srcid=369&xtor=AL-1&cmpid=aff~Console+Deals~Comparison+Engine~88269~Razor+Creations+Ltd

Hedgyhoggy · 26/08/2020 23:25

Dd(7) has asked for a jewellery advent calendar. Is there anything like that out there for a 7 year old? Or do I make my own and if so where do I get 24 pieces of jewellery that doesn’t get too expensive?

NoWordForFluffy · 26/08/2020 23:40

What about this Frozen II one, @Hedgyhoggy?

BeingLonely · 26/08/2020 23:41

Thank you @nc600 Flowers

nc600 · 26/08/2020 23:50

@Hedgyhoggy

Shame you missed the Lisa Angel sale as they are back up to full price.

If you pay with AMEX you'll get a fiver back as long as you've activated shop small in your offers

Not sure if this is how to link Blush

GachaBread · 26/08/2020 23:57

I'm here again. Don't understand how to watch using the mobile app-sorry!

torthecatlady · 27/08/2020 00:06

@GachaBread Swipe left on the post and click "bookmark" however you can only find the thread on the watch list if you've posted on it.

GachaBread · 27/08/2020 00:10

Ahh I see @torthecatlady thanks for that.

Labansk · 27/08/2020 00:14

Thank you all for all great bargains! I'm a long time lurker and these threads have saved me loads of money.

Not sure if it's been mentioned already but Argos has the Lego Space rocket for £54 instead of £90, which is the lowest I've seen it.

bargain

Stompythedinosaur · 27/08/2020 00:15

Hedgy I am thinking about this Harry Potter charm bracelet advent calander for one of my dds and this more generic one for the other. There are quite a few options on Amazon.

EvilHerbivore · 27/08/2020 00:16

Lego friends hospital play set on a good deal at Argos if you can find it in stock near you

Jenasaurus · 27/08/2020 00:38

@nc600

Ooh, what did you buy? do tell
Jenasaurus · 27/08/2020 00:41

Im looking for a bean to cup coffee machine for my sons girlfriend, if anyone can recommend one please share, I have seen one but its £600 so looking for more like £350 max

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 27/08/2020 02:25

@Adelais

Thanks to these threads I’ve only got one more present to get for dd1 which is a bloody lol surprise omg doll which she’s asked for recently. I saw one reduced to £16 a month or so ago and I’m kicking myself for not getting it then as they all seem to be around £30.
My daughter loves omg dolls (except that one that was reduced... apparently she doesn't like dungarees!!) Theres some on the entertainer for preorder, if you have a birthday code could get 20% off?

Otherwise join the lol groups on Facebook (people sell new and second hand and can sometimes get a bargain) and keep an eye on ebay. My daughters birthday I found a buy it now - 2 omg dolls, 5 lol lights balls, 2 pet balls, notebook, 2 tiny toys, pencil case and 2 jewellery sets, light up watch for £50 all brand new!

LatteLover12 · 27/08/2020 06:08

I've been looking at getting this one @Jenasaurus

If anyone has How To Train Your Dragon and Playmobil fans the Hiccup, Toothless and baby dragon set has dropped on Amazon from £30 to £23. One present knocked off DD1’s list for me!
