Thank you @nickdrakeslovechild for thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Just been catching up on today's bargains! Thank you @EvilHerbivore for the weighted blanket tip. I had one on my wish list for my Grandad to help him sleep and this is such a great price, I'm so pleased. If it can bring him a bit more peace that will be even better 😘

aToadOnTheWhole · 26/08/2020 20:25

Thank you Reastie

Quite a specific thing, and not necessarily festive, but I've just found this "children's visor hat" in Amazon deals for £7.99. Pandemic chic for toddlers

Someaddedsugar · 26/08/2020 20:28

Can anyone remember when Selfridges and Harvey Nichols usually do their Christmas offer?

NoWordForFluffy · 26/08/2020 20:29

@Redwinestillfine, thank you for the Lakeland code. I just bought the space cookies cutters for DS and the squid for DD (plus a load of dull, domestic, shit!).

TenCornMaidens · 26/08/2020 20:33

Jumping on, thanks @ReastieFlowersFlowersFlowers

Bluewavescrashing · 26/08/2020 20:53

I'm so nearly done now!

Looking for 2 x tamagotchis
A lego City advent calendar (doesn't have to be this year's edition)
Toy story 4 top trumps
Gardening gloves or other nice garden gidt for 33 year old male

That's all! 🎉🎄

HawkinsLab · 26/08/2020 21:29

Not necessarily Christmas related and apologies if it’s been posted on the previous thread but Mondoon have a great sale on at the minute. I got skirts which should have been £50 for £14.50. Ended up getting 4 things for about £50 in total. Also code FREEDEL for free delivery.

Onlyahalfbottle · 26/08/2020 21:32

I know a lot of our local charity shops have got sales and offers at the moment but British Heart Foundation had loads of new craft sets for half price, I got some packs of pipe cleaners and googly eyes for DS3 but they had stitch your own puppet kits and make your own bunting kits that would be good for older kids.

Scanner20 · 26/08/2020 21:35

Top trumps sometimes come up in aldi special buys, never bought any but remember seeing them last year.

I'm on the look out for the enchanimals ski chalet, it's new I believe and £40 but it may come up on offer - fingers crossed

sorryiasked · 26/08/2020 21:36

Bargainmax have this marvel avengers AR helmet you have to download an app on to a compatible device to use it, but looks like a really substantial gift.

Thankyou for the new thread. I have the weighted blanket in my basket and am now desperately searching my brain to try to think of someone I can buy it for.

TheDrsDocMartens · 26/08/2020 21:40

Feeling really unmotivated this year. Don’t know what anyone wants.

sorryiasked · 26/08/2020 21:50

Thanks for the neon sheep link, never heard if them before.
While browsing I came across this astronaut pen for whomever was looking for space/nasa stuff

Adelais · 26/08/2020 21:52

Thanks to these threads I’ve only got one more present to get for dd1 which is a bloody lol surprise omg doll which she’s asked for recently. I saw one reduced to £16 a month or so ago and I’m kicking myself for not getting it then as they all seem to be around £30.

Bluewavescrashing · 26/08/2020 22:11

I bought the weighted blanket for myself... Along with at least 50% of my buys from these threads 😊 luckily I've got a pay rise recently!

nc600 · 26/08/2020 22:13

Is the weighted blanket on
The last thread? I can't see it. Thanks, I've bought the avengers VR thing. Good reviews

IHeartKingThistle · 26/08/2020 22:14

@Cherryrainbow I don't know that one but I felt the same when I realised that Lush are now doing some of the old perfumes from when they were Cosmetics to Go. I wore Ginger when I was 16 and at 40 I got it back and am still obsessed with it!

BighouseLittlemouse · 26/08/2020 22:20

Hello everyone!

Thank you for all the amazing bargains.

I wanted to ask if anyone has a instant camera they could recommend? Looking for one for my youngest DS - he’s only just turning 6 ( quite mature for his age) so definitely needs to be simple but he loves taking photos and I know he’d love having physical prints.

I’ve been looking at all the various options but no idea which is best! Reviews seem mixed. Can’t decide if it’s worth getting one that also saves the prints digitally or not. But then again it’s only for a 6 year old!

Any recommendations very welcome!

torthecatlady · 26/08/2020 22:21

Never heard of neon-sheep before so thanks for the link! Found a nice gift for my work colleague and MIL.

TheGriffle · 26/08/2020 22:23

I’m so tempted by the weighted blanket but I can’t decide whether it would be good for my nan who has dementia or my mum who has trouble sleeping. Especially as it can’t be shoved in the washing machine.

BeingLonely · 26/08/2020 22:29

Can someone post the link for the weighted blanket again please? I keep looking and I’ve totally lost it 😕

torthecatlady · 26/08/2020 22:31

Thanks for the weighted blanket tip, I've bought one for my DD.

To the person looking for a beauty advent calendar, my sister bought me the birch box one last year. It's pricey, but full of high end products. Well worth the money for someone who loves beauty stuff.

nc600 · 26/08/2020 22:39

I don't know how to post the link but this is the code VJ4PQ46J

Amazon 3 piece luxury blanket and eye mask

torthecatlady · 26/08/2020 22:43

I just paid with PayPal for Neon Sheep and it turns out they are owned by Mountain Warehouse. Just a heads up really as I was concerned about the payment at first.
